We were moving internationally from the US to Europe and have two dogs that we love more than anything and needed to ensure they travel with us safely. We have done a very thorough research on companies taking care of such transport and from reviews of other people it was clear that Feathers and Fur Express should be our choice. We are happy we have made this decision - the whole service of a few months preparing for the trip and the pups' transport was impeccable. We had a person assigned to our case, the company had the customized app which we were really impressed with - next to the team we worked with being on top of everything, the app made thew whole process so much more easier - we had a live chat with the team, could submit and receive documents through the app, had a running to-do list, etc. Even our vet (vet of our pups we are working with) was really impressed with their service, how well they took care of the whole documentation and proactively managed a lot of things, etc. The flight of the pups was absolutely the most stressful, but the reps of the company met us at the airport, took care of preparing the pups for the flight with the local airport cargo staff, they walked us through the whole process and everything they have done and how they have done it was very reassuring. Their service did not end there - when we landed in Amsterdam the local company that partners with Feathers and Fur Express was also amazing, they helped us pick up the pups so smoothly! Feathers and Fur Express came to our rescue in a huge way. We were being relocated from Hawaii to Germany and had our bigger dog all situated on the airline. However, the Saturday before our flight, (we were flying out Tuesday) we were contacted by the airline letting us know that the aircraft we were flying was no capable of transporting our dog from Atlanta to Frankfurt. I immediately started researching companies in the Atlanta area and found F&F Express. I was immediately provided with a quote and the steps to take in order to successfully transport our dog to Germany. The staff was very responsive to messaging, emails and direct phone calls. I was amazed at the quick response time, even when one employee was on her off time, due to our time difference she still took my phone calls. I hired FFE to help me move one of my two cats from the US to Germany. This kitty is, in technical terms, a heckin' chonker. He was far too big for a regulation sized carrier and too heavy for the airline weight limit, so I knew I had to hire a pet transporter service. I found FFE through the IPATA website and right away I liked that they were a small business local to Atlanta. Now I'm not going to lie to you: It wasn't cheap. But I was willing to accept the cost if it meant ensuring my baby arrived safe. Kaila and the team walked me through the whole process like they had done it a million times before. The fact that they were so relaxed about it made me feel at ease. My vet had high praise for them too when it was time for our last appointment, calling the paperwork they sent him "totally idiot proof" and saying they were the most professional shipper he ever worked with. There were no problems getting my cat through customs--just a little hiccup that was out of their control (a computer problem at Lufthansa) and ultimately didn't affect the cat. He arrived safe and sound in Frankfurt on the same plane as me and his kitty sister (who is not too fat to ride in the cabin). Just picked up my French Bulldog today an couldn't be happier with the services F&F Express provided. He flew from Atlanta, GA to Frankfurt, Germany without any issues. They first provide you with an itemized quote that you can fully customize to fit your needs. They even offer a discount for those in the military with orders. Once you accept the quote and pay the deposit, they send you the log in information to an online portal where you can live chat with a team assigned to help you. You can also share and upload the necessary documents in this portal was well. It was very easy to use and very well organized. They made acquiring all of the documents a breeze. I was a little worried at first because I arrived in Germany a few months ahead of my dog and it would be my mother who would be handling any shipping preparations in the States. F&F Express uploaded a majority of my dog's health documents themselves once they were able to reach out to my old vet. They also kept in contact with my mother every step of the way and made acquiring his health certificate a breeze. I never usually write reviews, but I think they deserve one. We moved from Mississippi to Japan with our two dogs. They were really great when dealing with the crazy schedule of a military move. They made sure all my questions were answered as it was my first time moving with pets. Lindsey made sure everything was in order even when their flight got cancelled due to the airline (no fault of their own). She was understanding about last minute changes due to our schedule. This company is so professional and reliable. I moved to Germany and it was so hard to find an airline that would take my 75 lb lab mix. To say I was nervous about moving my dogs to the UK would be an understatement. I called 4 pet transport companies and I am so thankful I found Feather and Fur Express. They were the least expensive, but their service and and care were priceless. Marck was very responsive and organized with all my questions and the necessary paperwork for my dogs move. They were also very resourceful in moving them when Heathrow did not have the capacity at the time we were traveling.
