FLG X is a great place to bring older kids and challenge yourself whether you are a body builder or kid athlete or even a mama. I really enjoyed the whole experience: the environment is calming and not full of bugs like one may think, the obstacles and instructions are clear, safe and progressively challenging in the right way and the employees are friendly, stick around to help and really chill. I never felt judged and felt like family. I must admit, i was defeated at the half way part of the black course #4 even though i was a 4 year wrestling captain. After the main courses there are HUGE ziplines and wonderful parts you can revisit. EXTRA: cute dog and lots of chips to buy from. After every course, water is supplied graciously. Staff was friendly and attentive to everyone on the course. When we arrived they gave us a quick lesson on what to do and not to do on the course. They briefly went to a demo course to make sure we knew what we were doing. There are clean restrooms. For $6 you can buy gloves and unlimited water or for $3 just unlimited water (which I highly recommend because there's no where to take a water bottle unless you bring a bag which will be a hassle). At every stop location there is cold water bottles and you can take with you on the course. It gets very hot and you'll be thirsty. The courses were great, I had a lot of fun even though it down poured. There's green and blue. The red course is hard and black is the hardest one. To finish all the way until the red course it took me about 1.5-2 hours wasn't able to do black as I got tired. (however you go at your own pace) there are guides following you below in case you give up, want to stop and they help with pointers to finish the course. Overall it was a fun experience! we had a wonderful time at FLG X! since we went on a Thursday morning we were the only ones in the 9:30 group. It was fun and challenging, the guides were so so nice! My boyfriend completed the black course in two hours and they were at the end chanting and clapping it was so cute. If we're ever in the area again we will for sure be back!! read more

This adventure course is tons of fun! It's tough - the courses (Green, Blue, Red, and Black) get successively more difficult. We got through the Red course, but couldn't tackle the Black. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to attempt the Black course! The Red one requires significantly more upper body strength than the Green and Blue. It is challenging, but worth it and a great time. Staff watches everyone along the way and encourages you when you need it. There is a wire/cable along the top of the course that you latch on to the whole way through. Don't worry - before you start, staff will instruct you how to use the equipment and please pay attention! At one point in the Red course, I completely fell off the obstacle and didn't have a hand on anything. Thankfully, you are hooked in to the cables and I dangled there for a bit before gathering my strength to pull myself up and continue. The price is $52.95 for adults. For this price, I personally feel you should at least go through the Red course and try the big zip line. Otherwise, I would feel it's too pricey. read more

I went here today with my boyfriend for his birthday and it was so much better than either of us could have expected (we didn't really know WHAT to except). First, every one there was awesome but particularly Luca, Antonio & Mateo. Luca and Antonio were with us most of the way and they were so helpful & so supportive. They were also funny and kept the conversation light. If you do the adult adventure you get new waters after every course, and at one point they even threw a bag up for us when we were all out and thirsty. I cannot stress how wonderful they made the experience. We met Mateo at the end at the front but he was also just as friendly, kind and helpful. We got all the way through the 4 courses and because it my boyfriends birthday and he completed the black course, they gave him a free shirt which was just the cherry on top. If you're thinking the pricing is steep, or don't generally know how much these things are/should cost, I assure you, it is well worth the money. Even if you can only get through the first two courses. They're all really fun & a decent length & there's fun zip lines in between. I seriously cannot stress it enough how much you need to go here. It is so much fun! We booked online in advance but another couple that was there walked up & didn't have any issues with wait or anything but I would probably still buy in advance. Also, definitely get the gloves & water bottles. You will absolutely need both (you get to keep the gloves too)! read more

If you're looking for a fun place to have an adventure then this is the place!!! It is a lot of fun but be ready to get tired!! First group can go in at 8:30 and every consecutive hours until 11:30 which is the last one but you can stay there as long as you want. I believe they close at 5. It's a really fun place but also challenging. They have four levels and it starts with green blue red then black. The first two are not bad at all. But red is really hard and not many people finish to do black because it's even more challenging. My fiancé and I decided to do this and we enjoyed it. You must have gloves on because of all the ropes and stuff! Which you can get from them along with the unlimited water that you can carry on your belt. It's extra $6 but highly recommend it. You can take your phone with you to take pictures but also have to be careful. It's safe I have to say because of the smart system them have where you have to be attached at least one way before you can let go of the other lock. It'll make sense once you're there. It might seem overwhelming in the beginning because you're in your own but the guides are there to help. I would do this again for sure!! It was a lot of fun!! I highly recommend it and will be back one day to actually finish more than just the first two levels. Stopped in the middle of the third which was still great experience read more

Are you one of those people that watch American Ninja Warrior from your couch and think you could do it better than the people on tv that train for years? Guess what - you're probably wrong. The first two courses were fairly easy, but the red one quickly put us in our place. We didn't even attempt the black course. But, the guides were fantastic and even helped me out when I got tired halfway through a tough obstacle. Upper body strength is definitely your friend on the tougher courses. We're sad we're from out of town and won't get to come back for awhile. If you're looking for an adventure, check this place out! We had a blast (and got a killer workout). This was an awesome experience for our girl's vacation and by far one of the best recreational experiences I've ever had. From the start, everyone was knowledgeable, kind and helpful. They accommodated us even after I messed up our reservation and made us feel welcome in spite of MY error. The adventure courses were tough (for us) yet fun. Our guide, Nelson, was amazing and encouraged us even when we were being silly and unreasonable. I felt accomplished after finishing the two easiest courses. I recommend paying the extra for gloves and unlimited water and I encourage anyone to give this a try. You won't regret it! I will definitely go back! read more

This was an awesome experience!!! This was my first time ever zip lining and I tell you it was an experience.. we got a group ticket valid any day and went on the memorial weekend, we drove 50 minutes to the location. it was worth it! The staff, one word AMAZING!!! They felt like long time friends, they push you to complete the course but we didn't lol 3 of 4 levels isn't too bad lol anyway I most definitely recommend. Get out there and have the fun of your life! I recommend buying the unlimited water and gloves for only 6 bucks.. pretty sure you'll enjoy the staff even more lol they're just so nice and friendly. All of the coaches were extremely helpful and motivating, making sure safety rules were enforced consistently. Took my grandkids to FLG. X last Saturday and they really enjoyed the day there. The staff was exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. I caught my leg on some thorns and they brought me some medication to stop the bleeding AND some water to drink. Our leader was Austin and he was a tremendous help in encouraging my grandsons through the 4 different level courses that they have. One of my grandsons completed all 4 courses which is a rarity at FLX. Would recommend it highly for anyone who is driven to succeed. Ron read more
