I checked in again and Heather said, "Yeah it could be fixed, it's a simple case of screen replacement." She ordered the screen (she did not have it with her) and in 2-3 days, I checked again, and it was available, went there, and in 10-15 minutes she fixed it. it's been 7-8 days and though it's nonbrand, it's working fine. She also gave a warranty for 1 month so I am keeping an eye if anything goes wrong. Overall, good communication, and service by Heather.

Instead, they charged me $150 to install a new hard drive with more memory and failed to install the new OS. When I ran the update at home, I was locked out of one of my profiles. When I brought the MAC back, the man said, "What did you do?" and acted like I did something wrong for installing the newest update. I told him he didn't do what I had asked him to do. He fixed it, after mansplaining to me, and then told me he should charge me but was going to give me a break. The DVDs were going to cost $300 to transfer to the thumb drive, so I said I'd wait. He had told me it would cost me $80 to try and get any data off of the Dell laptop. So I left the computer there and said I'd comeback for the hard drive. To be fair, this was in April. I went in today to try and get the hard drive, and at first, they said they didn't know what I was talking about, and then tried to insist they had given it to me (they didn't) and then finally just said, "Well, we don't have it". If you choose to go here, get EVERYTHING in writing!

I provided the replacement battery, which I had purchased from the manufacturer. Rod thoroughly inspected the computer and suggested an additional service to clean and recondition the cooling system. The entire repair took roughly an hour start to finish. He testeded the new battery under load to make sure that it was functioning correctly and my laptop is back as good as new.
