I'm not going to lie I've driven past this place so many times and thought to myself who the heck would he through a drive-through sushi place that's disgusting. I recently read the Yelp reviews and was shocked to find out a lot of people had good things to say. stop by here for lunch today and now I completely understand why the reviews are so good this place is amazing. Hands down my favorite go to spot for sushi. Something about this place makes me keep going. The customer service is great. The couple are the owners and they are the sweetest people ever. It has heard nothing but good things about this place for years but I just got around to trying it. It is drive up and they don't take call in orders so be prepared to wait if it's prime dinner hours. We ordered the 4 rolls and it was only $38. The owners are extremely friendly and I'm quite a regular here. People are quite skeptical because it's a drive-thru, but you can't beat the price for the quality you're getting. I typically get the Philadelphia and Spicy Tuna rolls - each come with 8 pieces. One roll is very filling for me. It is quite a wait, even though it is a drive-thru, so take that into consideration. It will be around a minimum of 15 minutes when there is a line. read more

This place is really good i was skeptical because it is a drive thru but they make it fresh to your order. i would say only go there if you aren't in a rush for time because they do make it fresh to order so you can expect to wait 10-15 mins per car. So I finally talked myself into trying this drive thru sushi. The lady working the window was friendly and the service was pretty quick. I ordered a Destiny Roll, Spring Roll and a Teriyaki Chicken bowl. Nothing was amazing and there were actually a few bites of the sushi roll that didn't have the freshest taste. That was pretty upsetting to be honest. The teriyaki chicken was middle of the road with what tasted like boiled chicken and the strawberries were a little strange and once again didn't taste fresh. All in all you can easily find better sushi at a multitude of places for about the same price. It's a skip for me. read more

The #1 problem that plagues 99% of the "fast food sushi" category is one, main, determining factor: THE RICE! I don't know what it is, but the rice here is horrible; it's served TOO cold, and is that commercial, chewy, gummy, yet hard texture that you find in grocery store, pre-packaged sushi. This is the main reason why any of you hesitate dearly when pondering that sushi in your grocery store aisle, having the conversation with yourself or your significant other where you're like: "Ehhh... it doesn't look to bad huh...? It actually looks kinda good... hey babe, what you think of this sushi, come here for a second..." Yea, that whole exchange that we're all accustomed to. I must've had that convo hundreds of times, always regretting it once I actually would sucker in and waste my money. Whenever I get fast-food sushi, I rarely even 'dare' to get too exotic, and usually make it a rule to never get raw fresh; apparently that's a smart thing at Fleurichi, as most of the reviews are suggesting. I usually stick to the basics for this category of sushi, and get a California Roll that they still manage to make taste like pre-packaged, plastic-sushi, even though you can SEE the employees make it fresh in front of your eyes, it still ends up tasting like garbage -- this is what's really frustrating and puzzling about a place like this. The only way I can describe it, is that it tastes like "fresh pre-packaged sushi," if that's even a compliment, as pre-packaged sushi implies that it's been sitting for a while. Again, it's the rice mainly that kills it here; the texture is off, the vinegar content is too high, it's served too cold and stiff, it's too dry, and all the rice grains seemed like they've been clobbered, mashed, and pulverized by a machine. Actually, it's not just the rice -- it's pretty much everything now that I think about it -- let's not mince words here. Anyways, the employees are real nice and sweet, so thank god, but other than that I can't really see myself falling victim to this place again and ruining an entire lunch. I usually eat sushi here and feel completely unsatisfied when I'm done, always regretting it and telling myself I might as well have just went to Trader Joes to pick up sushi out of their own refrigerated aisles. And a fair common sense warning: as far as raw fish here goes, I wouldn't be caught dead here with a Rainbow Roll -- a roll made with ASSORTED RAW FISH, i.e. assorted ways to shit out the remaining minutes of your lunch-hour in the office bathroom, you fuckin' kidding me? I feel sorry for some of the other reviewers here, I know you were fooled by the cool, bright paint-job of the shack and menu here, as I was; It's fine, just don't make the mistake again people. And may the Sushi Gods ass-rape you on a daily-basis should you ever dare to get straight sashimi here, if you don't lay dying from being stomach-pumped at the hospital as it is. Anyways... The only reason I would rate Fleurshitty Express Sushi with 2 stars is based on the good service, and drive-thru convenience. Other than that, you seriously might as well go to Trader Joes, Vons, Save Mart, etc. to pick up your half-ass sushi. read more

Love this place! One of my favorite places for take out sushi. The owners of this little place are adorable and super friendly and the Sweet Shrimp Inari roll is crazy good. I don't order raw fish but every other roll (and the cucumber salad!) I've had here has been really great- FAR better than any grocery store sushi, including Trader Joe's. This was a great find. It's all about the RICE in sushi....the RICE is outstanding. Very low cost and very good sushi....and we are very picky about our Sushi. The rice is perfect. This is as good as Sano used to be.....as far as the value. At this time, they cannot do Salmon Skin handrolls but they may offer it in the future if they expand. Not enough Wasabi given though. The food though wasn't as fresh as it should have been. The tuna had a pinkish color and was a little off which leads me to believe it was frozen. I love this little sushi place! When I got there, there was already 3 cars waiting ahead of us. That's always a good sign. I am willing to wait for good food. I ordered their leave dragon roll under the specialties roll. It was amazing. It was a good portion of food and the tasted amazing. The avocados were a little thinly sliced though. The couple (I think they were a couple) working inside were super nice and cheerful. I also tried my buddies chicken roll which didn't taste as good as the leave dragon roll and it left a little bad aftertaste. It may be due to the sauces. Drive through Sushi? Yes, and it's good! I felt the contents were a little smaller than other places but the prices are generally $1.50 better so I call that a push. It took 10 minutes to make which is a good thing, I want my sushi created AFTER I order it. You can watch them create the roll if you're in a truck. I watched for it. They are legit, they do a good job and they are very nice people. If you're driving by and have a craving for Sushi go ahead and try'em. I wouldn't go out of my way for this Sushi but if you're near the Sierra Vista Mall I would definitely drop by the North/West corner of Shaw/Clovis. One thing, they need to hand out more Horseradish (Wasabi) with their meals. read more

I have ordered food from Fleurichi express more than 3 dozen times over the last 5 years. I can honestly say that the food has been good every time. I've noticed the wait times have increased through the years. But I plan for it. Most take out food orders at other restaurants will typically have mistakes on my order about 60% of the time by leaving out an ordered item or giving me the wrong item. Great Sushi overall. I've been coming here for almost two years now. The staff that works there are extremely friendly and know my face because of my multiple visits. The menu is quite large so choosing what you want can be intimidating, but once you know what you want it's smooth sailing from there. Also whenever there's a line one of the staff members will come to your car window to take your order, she will always have a take-out menu you can keep if you're a first timer. I highly recommend you try this place if you haven't already, or not convinced a drive thru sushi bar can make good sushi. Waited 20 minutes with two cars in front of me. All I wanted was some chicken teriyaki. I ordered the combo that came with a drink (it was child size!) and a small cucumber salad.
