The apple fritter ! It's pretty big but honestly not pillowy enough for me and I could hardly taste the apple. It was a little too flat. I like buttery rise on the inside dough so imo this one was just ok. I also tried the donut holes and they were decent. This place is A HIDDEN GEM! Was instantly greeted and felt welcome. The glazed are so light and fluffy, not dense. My favorite is the sour cream cake doughnut. Great donuts , but what's up with the coffee? My son and I went to the drive thru @9:30AM to pick up a few donuts. BUT THE COFFEE. WHAT?! No. I mean it tasted ok, but is it supposed to be SLIMY?! The ice cubes looked like they were premade frozen espresso cubes. Is that their signature coffee surprise?! A slimy consistency for fun? lol.... I'm legit asking ,.. I posted a video of it. other than that I'll stick to the donuts. Service at the window was just OK. A bit of an attitude this particular morning. Again coming from the land where donuts and Chinese food are sold in the same location, (seriously they are). and where all donuts are sold in pink cardboard boxes. finding a unique and awesome donut shop is like finding a rare gem in your town. One you'd covet and keep to yourself, but why, it's so good you gotta tell everyone. Baton Rouge has some very tasty and specific offerings for Donuts. Fleur de Lis Donuts are one of the best kept secrets in Red Stick. I was only in here a few times and I work just down the road. I send people here all the time. The one thing I like about BR donut shops is that they operate much like BBQ stands. When they run out of a good thing, that's it for the day. So to get the unique and tasty creations that Fleur de Lis makes, you gotta get there early. I walked in to get donuts at about 8:15am on a Wednesday and she was about 90% sold out. I told her to give me one of each of what was in the case. Each one was unique as the other. I could be writing this about any donut shop, alas don't let my generic words fool you. The king cake donut, jelly donut, sprinkle donut, frosted donuts and others I can't recall, were all delectable. They have a nifty little drive through window that reminds me of the Arby's on Sunset blvd in LA, when you pull in the driveway, hang an sharp left and it will loop you around to the right to their drive up window. There isn't anyplace to sit down and eat inside, so taking it with you is the only option. Most donut places operate this way so it's not really a negative as it's SOP (standard operating procedure). Eat in your car in the parking lot if you have to. We have to take care of our donut vendors in Red Stick, visit them all, visit them often and make this one a regular pitstop when you're on this side of town. read more

The donuts were ok but the service was not. The blonde lady at the drive through window was super rude. I had never been here before. I asked her what was warm and she said " kolaches" very sharply and rude and Her demeanor was horrible. I don't even know what those are but she was so rude I didn't even want to ask. So...nope won't be coming here ever again and will be telling my friends and family to waste their coins here. Sorry not sorry. I do not get how other reviews state that those donuts are good. They are not as good as grocery store frozen reheated donuts. I went thinking that they were going to be good because they make them there onsite. Boy was I wrong!!! The Kolaches were a weenie in a really heavy dough that weight about a pound, YUCK!!! The two women who run this place will make your experience there miserable. I have been buying donuts from Fleur De Lis Donuts for quite a while now because it's close to where I work. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt over and over again. They are older ladies, and I always try hard to be more patient with the older generation. Time and time again I have dealt with snarky attitudes, smug faces and comments, complaining about having to be at work, complaining about just about everything under the sun. I have witnessed other customers coming in with complaints only to watch how nasty these two women are to the customers. Maybe they are going through menopause or maybe they are just old and cranky, but these two women wear a constant chip on their shoulder. No matter how convenient this place is to my work, I will never eat here again. I tried to be patient, I tried give you ladies the benefit of the doubt, but I no longer want to start my mornings with your nasty behavior and attitudes. read more

I go their all the time the staff always was very Friendly.I like the chocolate donut holes with sprinkles . If they don't have it they just use the glaze ones and just add the chocolate and sprinkles on it for me. Recently when I received my box of donuts hardly no chocolate sprinkles on them. So I waited till she came back to the window and I told her it was very s*****Made that I just wanted to let her know how I felt about it. I always go there and the last two times I went that's how i received donuts from them. She was shocked she said what repeat yourself "Shitty made!!" she said and offered to take the donuts back and put more chocolate and sprinkles on them.
