The planning process is smooth and stress-free: once you book and pay your deposit, their team reaches out a week prior to your event to finalize your headcount, menu, and linen color selections, and answer any final questions. A huge part of our success came down to the incredible staff: Jennifer: Our main point of contact. She was exceptionally helpful, answered every single question we had, and was wonderfully accommodating from start to finish. Adrianna: Our second server, who matched Jennifer's energy by being equally amazing, attentive, and helpful throughout the night. Charlotte (Bartender): Recommended directly by the banquet, she was professional, fun, and simply amazing with our guests. The venue itself is beautiful and modern, and we especially appreciated that the restrooms were kept spotless and well-stocked all night long. How fun!…read more My cousin celebrated her 40th birthday here, and I never got an exact answer as to how she came about renting out the Women's Twentieth Century Club located in the heart of Eagle Rock on Colorado Blvd. For all the time I've spent in Eagle Rock enjoying the many places to eat and visiting friends (I've even eaten at Colombo's Italian Steakhouse and Jazz across the street, and the taco trunk next door in the gas station parking lot), I always thought this was simply a house. Oh no, my friends, apparently, it's more than that! The Women's Twentieth Century Club of Eagle Rock was founded in the late 1890s, and this facility was built in the early 1910s. The Craftsman style structure is still beautiful today, and upon further review and survey of the neighborhood, truly stands out among the other homes along Hermosa Ave. You would expect this to actually be located in the older neighborhoods in Pasadena with the rest of the glorious Craftsman's. As you walk up the steps and approach the spacious porch area, you head towards the front door and instantly notice how it opens up to an auditorium with ample floor space and a stage, reminiscent of where a town hall meeting would take place in those old movies from the 20s and 30s. The high ceilings lend even more to the amount of openness found in this room. Other areas to point out are the alcove or what appeared like a separate sitting area, the full kitchen, a waiting area of sorts upon entering into the building, a small bathroom, and an outdoor area for more seating. I don't know the rental rates, restrictions, or payment method, but I'm sure you can find such information here at their official website: www.wtcc-er.org/ For this particular event, there were no facility-specific individuals as you would expect at an actual banquet hall. So, your service is whomever you hire or bring along. Parking is relatively ample as there is plenty of side-street parking everywhere. You also have Colorado Blvd., but I can't remember if there are any meters. Lastly, they do have their own minimal parking, but I recommend hitting the street parking instead. Overall, I thought the Women's Twentieth Century Club was a pretty cool building based on the historical factor alone. I'm a born-and-raised Angeleno and whenever I come across hidden nuggets of this great city of mine, it always makes me proud that someone has taken the initiative and effort to try and preserve them for future generations. I can't say for sure whether or not I would rent out this place for an event of my own, but I can certainly say that I appreciate knowing that there is such an option available. I think others should take a look and maybe add this as an option to their list, too! A 3 1/2 stars for me!

We've also recommended the space we're family friends have utilized it for bridal showers, birthdays and baby showers! Loved that the parking lot was small safe enough to have a jumper for the kids as long as we powered it with a generator

You are responsible for your own table cloths, or you can rent it from them for an additional price. There's a kitchen that you can use, the bathrooms are clean, and there's plenty of parking inside. The venue can host 100 people, but it will be very tight with that many people. We had about 80 people (including kids) at the event, and though it felt tight, at least the kids were able to hang outside to enjoy the bouncer. I rented the afternoon time frame, so we were given the venue from 2:30-9PM. The only thing that I found weird was that there was absolutely no attendant available at the end of the night. Overall, a decent place to rent a venue if you wanna DIY things yourself.

She helped us with everything from the venue tour and contract to the menu, tasting, rehearsal, and all the details leading up to the wedding. We really appreciated her help and kindness. The venue itself is also very beautiful, so even without adding too much decoration, it already looks great. On our wedding day, we unexpectedly had a heavy rain shower. We weren't really prepared for the rain, but the Fig House team did their best to make sure we could still have our outdoor ceremony as planned. The staff worked really hard, and thanks to them, we were able to enjoy our wedding without much trouble. We also want to thank Josh, the lead server, for taking such good care of us throughout the day. He was very kind and made sure everything is okay. Thank you to the entire Fig House team.
