I met Kevin a owner, when he was measuring another home in the hood. We visited about my basement. His honesty and patience explaining the solutions to my problem sold me as the right person to work with on a major home project. I also watched how their staff worked on the neighbor's home everyday. Every single person in the company is kind and very hardworking. I always felt safe with them. They do what they say they are going to do and they do it well. I really have never seen such organized efficiency and effectiveness at work on a home construction project. You know how difficult contractors can be about saying one thing but not showing up? These guys show up and stay until the job is done. The communication with us from the workers and the supervisors was daily and always involved our input. Excellent. Everything takes time, I think they were here 6 days. Get over yourself and let them do their jobs. I have a whole new level to my home and it is clean and fresh. The air in my home seems fresher. For me, that's a huge benefit to offset the cost. I called Kevin in a panic with some heavy rain related question yesterday - about a month after the work was done. Within an hour he had 2 men here. It ended up being a Rotor Router problem. Oh well. It's a family business and the brothers that worked on our property were respectful of how they treated our property, professional in every way necessary when explaining what work was being done while proceeding with the project and once completed, they cleaned up the area and it looked as if they were never there. I would highly recommend Armstrong Waterproofing Corp. We are pleased with the work that was performed and the gentlemen that were in charge of completing it. Also no clean out on that wall. I'm told the sump is the low point. Hard to get water in when it's built up higher than the floor level. I have water lines that need draining before winter and it goes onto the floor and it pools up nowhere near a "clean out". If it's only a "clean out " why is it sloped downward? I guess that explains why its at a point the water doesn't go to. Not a drain. Grr. Also my water intrusion shot right past the bright wall and created a pond nowhere near a "clean out " coincidentally the area the water pulls up at is where the drain used to be before they removed it. Also, during the recent heavy rain for days, if you look in the inspection, clean out port, there is no water flowing. It does not follow the drain tile. It's beneath it. This was not an inexpensive job compared to other contractor prices, but we went with Franks because of their reputation. Not everything went exactly to plan, a couple things were missed by people, but Frank called me personally because he was not happy with the execution of the project. I wasn't even that upset because they felt like minor annoyances compared to past contractor experiences I have had. They had already communicated that they intended to send different people out to fix them, but Frank went above and beyond! See during and final pictures! We fully intend to use them again for some future basement projects. Listen, you can't control everything everyone does as an employee of your company, but you can make it right. And if you aren't sure if a company you hire is going to have your back if something goes wrong unexpectedly or something gets missed, then just choose Frank's because they are just incredible at taking care of their customers. SCAMMERS. EverDry Waterproofing charged me over 20k to get my basement done, not even 24 hours…read morelater they FLOODED my basement due to negligent construction. They price gouged me. They didn't even put the purple pipe sealant on the pipes correctly, didn't sand the concrete, caused a fire hazard with electrical cords dangling over the spewing water from pipes, and didn't fix the step down crack. I had to beg them to comeback to fix it. They did a crappy job fixing it and didn't even fix everything. I could've hired someone from Craigslist and they would've done a better job. Reported them to the Better Business Bureau. They didn't even offer to compensate for the damages to my warped sink, damaged walls, damaged clothes and gas generator the water damage destroyed due to their negligence. STAY FAR AWAY. The town of Irondequoit is investigating as well. I have a video of the pipes spraying all over my basement walls.
