Mike and Melissa Segelin are the real deal. They're the only ones we work with now and we couldn't…read morerecommend them more highly. Here's why: We renovated a duplex for our family, essentially replacing everything, addressing grading / drainage issues, and installing a lot of new pavement / concrete surfaces. We'll spare you details of the endless parade of contractors we had to deal with; we were at the end of our rope. Then we decided to hire Mike as our General Contractor; after that, costs went down and quality skyrocketed. What we experienced: - Priority #1: Safe and clean worksite - Mike and Melissa treated the entire project as if it were their own - They considered our needs as if we were family - Detail-oriented but always kept in mind how other parts of the project would be affected - Offered multiple options for every aspect, so we could find the perfect balance of price and quality - Mike was always on-site, supervising the contractors (seriously, from dawn to dusk, I have no idea when this guy sleeps!) - A few of the sub-contractors we hired, before Mike came on the project, had tried to screw us over, intimidating and threatening us; Mike moved quickly and decisively, resolving things in our best interests - A solid network of high-quality contractors - Melissa's understanding of current design / decoration trends helped us find solutions that fit our taste - timeless! We loved working with Mike and Melissa so much that we also had them renovate our old house; literally just discussed the scope / goals, gave them the keys, and lived our lives while they worked their magic. When we sold it, we got more than two times what we put into that renovation. Couldn't be happier!

Honest Review: We…read morelive in Warsaw, and if anyone has struggled with hiring companies and dealing with no-shows, it's us! After getting multiple estimates for a new driveway installation -- which included removing our existing one that had become unsafe to walk on -- we were quoted anywhere from $47,000 to $95,000 for the same scope of work. From the start, Carson Winter impressed us. He told me that even if we didn't hire him, he would still be happy to help by connecting us with other tradespeople he trusted. That kind of integrity stood out immediately. We ultimately decided to hire Carson and CL Winter Construction, and we couldn't be happier. I explained what I envisioned, and Carson not only listened carefully but also offered thoughtful suggestions -- including widening the driveway by two feet, which turned out to be an excellent improvement. He didn't rely on blueprints but instead hand-drew exactly what I described, and then brought it to life beautifully. Although the weather extended the project timeline, Carson kept me fully updated, and I always felt comfortable knowing the job was being done right. His supervision was consistent (as confirmed by our Ring camera), and his crew was professional, skilled, and respectful throughout the process. The finished driveway looks fantastic, and when we later needed pilings installed for lamp posts, my husband insisted we hire Carson again -- and once more, we were thrilled with the results. The pricing was very reasonable for this area, and the workmanship was excellent. We truly appreciate Carson and his team for their professionalism, communication, and craftsmanship. We would absolutely hire CL Winter Construction again and highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality work done with care and integrity. -- Linda & Mike
