I asked if this policy was posted on their website and was directly told yes it is. Just checked the website and could find nothing about payment policy. If I was told when I called to make the appointment I would have gone somewhere else. This place is always pushing extra unnecessary service. https://www.subarucolonial.com When we dropped off the car they told us we needed new wiper blades to pass inspection. I declined the rear blade replacement. I asked about the price and I thought I heard $7 a blade, I'm hard of hearing, visible hearing aid. When I pocked up the car the two front blades we were charged $27 each and of course they added a rear blade for $17. This is highway robbery. They replaced with front with heavy duty ugly black rubber all weather blades you'd see on an off road vehicle not a family sedan. They did refund the rear blade. I complained about the front blades and they claim they are the standard Subaru replacement blade. I have a call into another dealer to confirm if this is true. I will never return to Colonial and I have 2 Subaru's I purchased from them, neither will ever go back there. They are always trying to sell something we don't need on a very low mileage car. Cabin filters, alignment, rotation, etc. Repairs are cheaper on my Lexus.

They pretend to be your caring friends but in reality just want to bleed every cent possible from you even if it means deceiving and outright lying to you. I have always had European vehicles, and before I retired was a Porsche brand ambassador. The new Explorer runs as well if not better than any of its European counterparts! 400 hp and over 420 foot pounds of torque with a 10 speed gearbox makes for a phenomenally great package. They guaranteed me that was available (I had gotten that on all previous cars), and once they cashed my check I was told that wasn't true. A classic bait and switch, and I never would have bought my car from them had I known. It took me a month of effort to be able to speak to someone in person, and their "apology" was as lame and insincere as the rest of my experience. I also wasn't thrilled that my salesman with whom I made an appointment early on a Friday am to show me how to operate the car never showed up, never game me any notice, and never got back to me.
