I ordered a 2 layer with fruit filling, half sheet cake for my Husbands 40th Birthday party. The cake itself tasted good and the pastry tray also tasted good but for the price I paid, I would expect the color of the decoration to at least be correct. I sent the image attached which is clearly all black and either their printer was running out of ink or they just decided jungle green was a better choice than what I asked for. I also brought a physical copy of the invitation that the image was taken from to show the woman who took my order. There was zero confusion on what was supposed to be Black. It was honestly the only thing that went wrong at the entire party. When I picked it up they just had young girls up front who already seemed nervous and the party was in 4 hours so it wasn't even worth the time or the stress to complain at pick up that the center wording was supposed to Black and White..... not green. You also can't change anything in the dessert platter that you order. Like swapping out profiteroles or eclairs for cheesecake bites. Or if you don't want pastel flowers on cheesecake bites for a 40 year olds party that everything is blacked out for.... absolutely not. read more

I did finally try a box of their little assorted butter cookies, and they were really very good. Sprinkles, M&M, lightly frosted, double layer. Enjoyed more than I expected. All were incredibly light and buttery but distinctly different in their individual flavors. read more

The selection leaves a lot to be desired, the employees are rude at best, and overall the baked goods are unremarkable. Got Cupcakes and cookies on my way to work they were a huge hit! The lemon, carrot and fudge cupcakes were the biggest hit. I personally really enjoyed the mintastic and apple pie alamode. I had people clambering for when I could get them again. read more

Stopped in here randomly while in the area and got some cakes and a cannoli. Everything was excellent: cake was rich and soft. Cannoli was just right. Service was fast and the place is nice and clean. I'm not in Frankfurt often but if I returned I'd go here again for sure. read more

Been going their on Saturday's since it opened in the '70's! Food - Amazing Service - Amazing, the younger girls who take the orders are ALWAYS as sweet as anyone could expect! The only EXCEPTION is a Middle Aged Women who has the Personality of an Elephant!!!!! If she answers when you call, HANG UP and call back until you get the younger girl's. They NEVER are anything except very nice!! Don't let ONE individual stop you though! The place is WELL WORTH IT! As I mentioned, ONE in 50 years is a heck of an accomplishment!! I would give them no stars if possible. Mr. Fleckenstein was the absolute best in assisting with my wonderful cake orders for my children over the years. I went into the bakery today and Ray Fleckenstein was absolutely horrible with customer service, his reasoning for NOT doing my simple cake request (see image below) and ignorant attitude. It really is a shame that this gentleman has taken over and treats the community's customers this way, especially after all the support I have given them. I'm sad to have to leave this business for our bakery needs due to an individual's poor choices and customer service. read more

Fleckensteins did a perfect job with my wedding cake. I went in with a picture on Pinterest, Lisa printed it off and discussed in detail exactly what I wanted. Lisa mentioned they had never done a semi-naked cake before or anything similar to what I wanted, but actually seemed excited to do something different. The cost was much lower than I anticipated. When I saw the cake at the reception, I was blown away. It looks EXACTLY like the picture I showed Lisa, and tasted better and fresher than any other wedding cake I've ever had at any wedding. Fantastic local bakery!! Good family-run business. They did my wedding cake 10 years ago, and it was phenomenal.

So plus side is that their donuts are good. A coworker usually brings these in to our office once a month. She couldn't do it the last so I did. And I got the most miserable lady to wait on me.
