Clean restaurant, nice atmosphere. Service was just OK. When I walked in I stated hello to the…read moreserver, waiting for a response from her and after a few awkward seconds of looking at me she finally stated, how many? Really, that was my welcome? The restaurant had a few customers for the early Saturday morning. I was sat at a table that was very wobbly. The server had to notice because she moved the table around before seating me. Really, all these empty tables and you sit me at the wobbly one. I ordered a hot tea and ice water. The water for the tea tasted like it came from the coffee pot. Restaurants need to learn not to use the same pot for hot water that is used for coffee. I get bad indigestion if I drink any amount of coffee. So much so I now state I am allergic to coffee. So restaurants, please stop mixing the pots without doing a deep cleaning. I also ordered "The Southerner". It has 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs over medium served on a split biscuit, covered with sausage gravy and a side of grits. I requested the gravy to be on the side. The eggs were cooked great, sausage patties also great. The biscuit they were on had an odd taste. Didn't taste like the biscuits were baked, maybe fried? That would probably explain the biscuit being tough. The sausage gravy was not good. The gravy was thin/runny with cut up pieces of the sausage patties, but it lacked the sausage flavor. The grits were also very soupy. I had pushed my full cup of hot tea to the edge of the table, the server either didn't notice or just didn't care. I was only asked once if I was needing anything else, and since she didn't ask about my full cup of tea, I wasn't going to say anything. When she came over to the table she asked if I needed anything, I stated No, I am done. She asked if I wanted my check, and I paid my tab. They do advertise Bloody Mary's and other breakfast cocktails but I didn't have any of those. The location is good, area outside for the kids to run and play. Seating outside also to watch the kids. I think I would only return to this place if I am invited out to brunch with my group of friends. Otherwise, would be a long while before I return, being hopeful things have improved.

They have an incredible selection of Bloody Mary's and they can even be customized with tons of toppings. I stuck with water this go around but ordered the Grown Up Grilled Cheese with fries. The toast was perfectly toasted and the ingredients on the grilled cheese made for a perfect brunch sandwich. Fries were super crispy and yummy too. This is a great spot for anyone who enjoys a good local spot with fresh menu options for sweet or savory preferences. Great atmosphere and nicely decorated. Highly recommend. Only reason for 4 stars is the wait staff was a bit all over the place but I'm sure it was just them trying to remain on top of providing a quick brunch service.

At approximately $20, it's essentially a steal. Diners get a slab of bovine that nearly takes up half the plate alongside vegetables and loaded mashed potatoes. I was very impressed how my steak came out just as I requested - medium rare - and I couldn't get over how super tender and juicy it was. Maybe it's just me, but when the meat easily melts in your mouth, you have to slowly enjoy it. The veggies were fresh and seasoned nicely and the mashed potatoes came alive flavor wise thanks to the shredded cheese and bacon bits. I just wished they were a bit bigger to match the steak portions wise. As for the establishment itself, a bit noisy, but it can be easily overlooked by the laidback vibe. I really dug the music that was blasting through the speakers. One minute, it was Luke Combs. The next, Pantera. I'd say this place can be a hangout for me when I want to catch the Astros, Texans, or Rockets.

Tanqueray gin & tonic, $5.50; Don Julio reposado margarita, $8.50, but the Don Julio anejo shot had more standard pricing at $17. So many sports bars no longer have the electronic (auto scoring) dart boards which I love so much. Thoroughly enjoyed playing. Machine takes cash only & costs $1.50 (6, 25 cent credits) for two players to play a game of cricket for example. I would definitely return to try their wings. They had a large variety of wing flavors. I was there during an Astros game. Pretty cool place to chill & catch a game.

There was also a manager I believe who came by our table and checked in on us occasionally. He was friendly and informative. The atmosphere and theming of this chain is great. There's always something new to look at and each booth feels well enclosed but still open enough to see the rest of the restaurant. I could see this place being overstimulating for some but, but for me, the music was at the right volume and nothing was too distracting from my experience. It was also nice to see the severs participate in a line dance randomly in the middle of the restaurant, as well as someone being celebrated for their birthday. I wasn't aware of traditions like that before visiting and it left a much more memorable experience than somewhere like Logan's Roadhouse. The food was excellent. Those rolls are to die for! I ordered the grilled salmon. While this is a steakhouse, I was impressed with the quality of the salmon. It had the perfect texture and combination of flavors. The lemon butter not so much. Wasn't my thing, I much prefer the one offered at Floyds Seafood. My side proportions were good and I was left full by the end. The restaurant uses a tablet for things like a digital menu, games, etc. like many other chain sit-downs. It did its job, though I do prefer the game selection on the one at Chilli's/Olive Garden. Pricing was solid. None of our items were too awfully expensive. I will be going back to this location in the future! 4.5/5

If you want to buy only a daiquiri, you can't. You have to buy a food menu item, too, but it wasn't even Sunday when they told me this. Daiquiris: delicious and a variety to choose from. Food: The first time I came here I had hush puppies and a daiquiri. They were both good. The second time: a catfish poboy with remoulade sauce, the meaty part of the fish was so thin. I thought it was just a bad day or I received a really small fish out of the bunch, but it tasted okay the remoulade sauce saved it. The third time I ordered a catfish and shrimp platter, which had a nice amount of fries, but I couldn't really see how the catfish and shrimp looked or how many of each I received initially. That wasn't an issue, because I like French fries. But once I ate some of my French fries, that's when I realized that I had 4 shrimp, which were a good size and delicious and 3 catfish PIECES for $27. The two sauces were great. After seeing the catfish and four shrimp, I reviewed their website because the catfish was not catfishing the way that I'm accustomed. Their website says CATFISH PIECES, it's literally HALF of what a standard 3 piece catfish order would be at other places, so ONE AND HALF catfish. Absolutely ridiculous. Mind you the $27 does not include a drink, bread, or a daiquiri in the total price, just the food that you see in the picture, sans some of the fries that I ate. If I ever come back here again, it would only be for the daiquiri. I was disappointed in the catfish flavor, size and cost. I will wait until I visit home to get a better value catfish plate and eat elsewhere in the Houston area, because $27 for this is crazy. Ambiance: There's parking and the place looks clean with plenty of places to sit inside considering the size of the place.

Very vibrant and unique, with a neat outdoor area and amazing TV placement for those who care about that. Even their to-go counter is well decorated and themed! I can't comment on the atmosphere since both times I've been it's been relatively quiet, but I'd imagine on a busy night this place could have a fun atmosphere. Joshua was our server and he did a good job, and our food came out relatively fast, so no issues with service. As for the food however, I can't be as positive. Last time I had the Mahi Mahi and thought it was fine enough. This time I decided to try one of their burgers. I'll be honest, I like my burgers pretty plain, which is its own can of worms. Point being, the bun tasted very odd and almost stale, and the patty was very mushy and lacked flavor. The signature sauce was also unappetizing, with it being some sort of distant cousin of mustard or potentially a very odd Thousand Islands? I'm not sure if additional toppings would save this considering the unappealing foundation. It just left me very unfulfilled. The milkshakes on the other hand? Fantastic. Definitely the highlight. It was just as good as the last time I went. I haven't been to many other places that matches the quality of here. Could not recommend more. I've yet to try the chicken or other fish so I can't comment on their quality. All I'm gonna say is, burger lovers maybe approach with a grain of salt. 3/5
