The sandwich was delicious - I was expecting mostly meat, but there was corn and peppers that nicely complimented the chicken. Overall, all the flavors were delicious, The portions were definitely more than enough, and everything was reasonably priced. My order came out quickly, and they were very friendly! The food (ox tails, greens/cabbage, cornbread dressing) is really 5/5, it was seasoned wonderfully and the portions were good for plentiful leftovers. The live DJ was nice and music was very good. It was cafeteria style and I really couldn't tell what the wait was.

It might have been a blessing in disguise Yelp recommended this place and we gave it a shot. We almost did not stay to eat because today was takeout only the staff said. We noticed chairs outside so opted to stay. We chose the baked chicken, the meatloaf and the fried fish. Our sides were Mac and cheese X's 3 ( so glad we did) pinto beans abd the green beans. EVERYTHING was seasoned nicely, the food was hot (except cornbread and rolls which was unfortunate) and quantities were perfect They did not have togo drinks today ( suggest to offer in the future). But we asked for water and they happily accommodated which was nice since we don't live here. All around it was a great experience and we will definitely recommend this place to friends and family! Food quality, temp, quality, variety and cost all a plus Staff attitude, accommodation all a plus.

The biggest issue was that everything we ordered was extremely salty. If the seasoning were dialed back a bit, the food would have been excellent. The portions were very generous. The muffuletta was huge and packed with flavor. The burger was also good, although it was so large and messy that it was a challenge to eat. The onion rings were perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Despite the saltiness, the quality of the food and the portion sizes made for an enjoyable meal.

It comes with etouffee and fried crawfish. There was no spice. No salt. The food tasted the same as the plain white rice that accompanied the etouffee. I'm not exaggerating when I say this was literally the least flavorful food I've *ever* had. Plain toast has more flavor. My husband ordered oysters and fried mushrooms. They brought out the mushrooms which were also flavorless. Extremely bland. No salt, no nothing. After 20 minutes we asked where the oysters were. They were never put through. We opted to just get the check and leave. The experience was already so disappointing that we weren't about to waste money on more of the same. Even my water came out warmer than room temperature. I have no idea how this place is in business honestly. There's so much competition out there and I'm sure they season their batter. I would never return here and absolutely wouldn't recommend it either. I can't find anything positive about our experience.
