Due to my busy schedule, I was only available on a Friday, a day in which the clinic is usually closed, but Beau agreed to do the work for me on a Friday after I was off from work to make it so that there's less issues with my schedule. I arrived after work and Beau was able to place all of my temporary veneers on that same day. My teeth increased in brightness by, I think, five shades. She has a stained teeth model that goes from very dingy to very white and will show you what color your teeth are before the procedure then what they got to after the procedure. I drink tea and coffee every day and was amazed at how white she got my teeth! The hardest part of the procedure is not having any "colored" drinks in the first 24 hours after the service. I was jonesing for coffee the next day. :)

I was nervous about going darker on the lips at first, so I went with a lighter color. She put plenty of treatment on the brows and lips, and felt no pain during each procedure. Or maybe cuz I had to wear my previous trays for so long before I received the new ones they got bad!!? My thoughts after Impress and having tried Invisalign in the past....definitely stick with Invisalign if you are planning to get your teeth aligned. For optimal results, no matter which company you go with, always wear your retainers after treatment has ended, especially at night. Nothing "impress"ive here sadly, just a bunch of delays and frustration with the process! Save your money and time. Sketchy company.

CONSULTATION: My consultation visit went really well and left such a great first impression that I…read moredecided to start my journey in realigning my teeth with Uniform. They were super helpful in answering all my questions and getting me what I needed to get started. I also got a sense of transparency from them which I really appreciated. FIRST VISIT: About a week before the appointment for my first visit to get started, Erin sent me a text asking to reschedule because my aligners wouldn't be arriving in time. No problem of course, I was happy to push my appointment back by a week. Just a couple hours later, I received a UPS email notification that my aligners would be arriving the next day. The next day, I got a notification that they were delivered. I texted Erin asking to move my appointment back to the original date but never heard back. I then heard from someone else via the app that they are fully booked the week my initial appointment was scheduled for. It bothered me a little bit that this happened, but I really do want to give the benefit of the doubt that it was all an honest mistake. On my new appointment date, I showed up 10 minutes prior to the appointment time as they have a strict policy of being rescheduled if you are more than 5 minutes late. What bothered me is that in every single one of my visits, I was always at least 10 minutes early, but I was never seen at my appointment time and always ended up waiting 5-10 minutes after. I don't mind having to wait, but I don't like being asked to arrive early if I won't be seen in a timely manner. ALIGNMENT: Aside from my in person experiences, this journey was incredible! The process from start to finish was very seamless and intuitive, and I never had any issues going through it independently. I will say, it requires a significant amount of your own diligence and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't confident that they can fully commit. The minimum daily wear time is 20 hours with 22 hours recommended, and personally, I think it's easier said than done. But! Throughout my weekly virtual check-ins and in-person visits, the doctors always expressed that they can tell I was wearing my retainers as it really showed, and it would be evident if I wasn't. Teeth don't lie! A visual storyteller at heart, I am sure that there is nothing my parents believed I was better at as a kid than drawing on any piece of mail, book, or even napkin I could get my hands on. These days, I try to put my energy into greater things than making a mess for others to clean up after. No matter when or where, I have found that nothing makes me happier than helping people smile, so I thank Uniform for helping me smile.
