DO NOT RECOMMEND Very FLAWED nails from this location. My daughter and her friend went here to get nails done for a banquet. My daughter was charged $80. During the appointment she complained about the shape of the nails, edge of natural nail showing and "lumpiness" of nails. We had to take her to another place to have them completely redone that night. Two nails were already lifted off, caked acrylic under the nails. Very sloppy job by this place. I went in today and spoke with the manager. She remembered my daughter and her friend. Admitted they charged 80 for the 30 min she was in the chair. Her friends nails were 85 and took over an hour. She said the only thing they could do is have her come in and fix them. I explained that they had an opportunity to fix the nails at the time of the appointment. They failed to do that. The nail salon that fixed my daughters nails questioned if the nail tech that did the flawed nails was even licensed. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! Honestly I used to love this place but the last time I went in (maybe 3 years ago) I asked them for long stiletto shaped nails wish a certain color. As the woman was doing them she made them a bit too long and when I asked her to trim them she said "trust me they look good like this" so I figured okay fine whatever, they weren't WAY too long or anything so that's fine. Then she put the powder on and started making them all very thin (front to back, meaning they were likely to break) . When she saw me looking at them funny she said "for this length they're better if they're thin" I said okay.. and figured I would trust the process. Which clearly was a mistake in my end. After she finished they looked fine so I paid and left. The very next day I had a nail break in half which had never happened to me before. I decided to go back and see if they could fix it for me, and they glued the broken half back on and sent me on my way. Wasn't exactly what I was hoping for but okay fine. The next day after that, I had 2 nails completely come off of my natural nail. They popped off like cheap press ons! I went back in and said I had never had this happen before and that I need them to fix it or refund me. They said it was MY fault and that the "oil on my nails rejected the glue". Which has never happened before (or since) so I was mad! They told me they would not refund my money or fix it for free so I left and never went back. Best decision I ever made. On a different occasion here, my nails were filed so aggressively that my ring finger started bleeding. They didn't stop filing then, and either didn't notice, despite my obvious flinching, or chose to carry on regardless. Yeah. That was painful. Nothing like a bandaid covering up a fresh acrylic nail. read more

First time ever going, last time ever going. I made an appointment today for 2 people at 12:45 and I got there at 12:50. I immediately got seated and started on my nails while my friend waited 20 minuets while everyone was walking around. I asked for a simple, acrylic full set and the lady started and it looked horrible. The color was off and when I told her, nicely to fix it, she huffed and puffed and got an attitude with me. 20 minuets later, 3 nails in it still looked horrible. So I told her to just cover it with all white, and she didn't listen. The lady doing my friends nails , including my friend told her again and she got an even bigger attitude. If I'm paying $55 for my nails to be done, I'm going to make sure they look good. Getting home, the skin under my thumb nail has ripped because she glued all my fingers to the false nail. I am more than disappointed with my experience today. I went in to get a refill (with color change) and a shape change (the last place I went did not do the shape correctly). I picked a color, told her the shape and that I wanted it matte. The lady that did my nails was really nice. However my nails are not really looking as nice. I have lots and lots of bubbles on several of my nails. I pointed it out and she said that it would go away once the top coat is put on. Here is my problem my nails have bubbles all in them, the matte top coat did not cover the bubbles and the matte doesn't even look matte. I will now have to go somewhere else to have them fix this issue because it wasn't addressed when I mentioned it when I was there. When I got up to pay I was charged $40. I have never been charged that much for a refill (with color change) and shape change before in my life. It is $30 for a refill without color change. If I had known that before I sat down I would have NEVER agreed to that. I paid less than that when I got my full set 2 weeks ago at a different nail salon in the area. (I've been trying different ones since I just moved out here a few months ago) I am incredibly frustrated that I have to go pay more money to get the problem fixed that they created and didn't bother to fix when I pointed it out. The reason I'm giving this place only one star is because the price I paid was way too much for the poor quality I received. Don't get me wrong, they were very polite, no wait time, and had a clean facility, but my nails looked worse than if I had done them myself and started to chip only three days later. I work really hard for the money I make, and so when I have a bad experience I make sure to not repeat it. Other people may have had a positive experience, but unfortunately I did not. read more

I've gone here before and had a fine time. The nails and service were fine. This recent time, however, was horrible. I'm not coming back again. I got my nails done 11 days ago and almost every day, one of my nails has broken and come off completely while doing things like itching my leg and moving a pillow. I went in today and asked them to fix my nails (as I've NEVER had nails come off and break this quickly in my life) and they refused to, continuing to state that it wasn't their fault. "We can't tart over for free because it's not our fault" which is completely false, as the nails came off while I picked up a trash bag and put on a shoe. They were rude about not fixing my nails. I paid $58 for them and they blamed me and wouldn't fix them without making me pay again. Disgusting. I will never come back here. I recommend everyone find somewhere else to go. read more

I started going to Flawless Nails on and off since they opened. I always go back to this nail shop because I like the staff! They are friendly, kind, and always talk with you and make you feel comfortable. I have invited several friends and family there with me as well and they all have had the same experience. Two stars for cleanliness and no wait. 4 adults and 1, 7 year old went in yesterday for mani/pedi and one change of color on toes. The pedicures were poor, leaving skin on heels and not triming cuticles. It was an overall disappointment we were really looking forward to being pampered and having an amazing pedicure. My sister went on to have her French manicure. When it was completed and she was under the dryer, I asked to see and she showed me her nails. Both thumbs were completely different. They looked horrible. I told the owner in which the standard reply, "it short, it shape of nail". I politely told him that was unacceptable and to please fix it. He again said it was the nail. I said okay and that we would not pay for her manicure services. He quickly got one of the nail techs over to correct the original wrong. I will not be back and neither will anyone in my group. This place is amazing and Tina did such a great job. This will definitely be my new nail salon. I like sticking to one nail place and have tried multiple in the area but this is by far my favorite! The salon is very clean and quiet. I came in on a Saturday at noon and it wasn't very busy, but even as it picked up it continued to stay quiet which is a big pro for me. I got a full set with gel on top and Tina did an exceptional job getting them just the way I wanted. Getting the deluxe spa pedicure was great! If I could give zero stars I would. Within 1.5 weeks I completely lost 2 thumb nails and ALL other nails were lifting. I've had solar nails for over 15 years and I've never had this happen. I also had a chipped toenail that my nail girl said she could fix. When my pedicure was finished, she stepped in and applied gel to patch my nail. I was busy on my phone as my pedicure continued. I've been getting acrylics nails for years and suddenly one day I get an "allergic reaction" from this place. nail buds were red and unbearably itchy I then developed a rash on fingertips and peeled. I called and complained they agreed to take my nails off and refund but when I got there they did not refund me. never going back. since then I've gotten acrylics somewhere else with no "allergic reaction". read more

I decided to try them this afternoon for a French manicure. Huge mistake. The nail tech had to be told to put cream on my cuticles before clipping them, used a rough file on edges and surface of nail. The white polish of my French manicure is sloppy and uneven. She painted over the rough surface without smoothing it. I literally could have done a better job than she did. Definitely will not go back. Nor will I recommend to any of the ladies in my neighborhood. It's worth the 10 minute drive to Vogue nail salon on Nasa and Point Lookout Drive. (As I sit here trying to smooth the rough edges on my nails). I suppose someone else might think they're okay if they've never had a good manicure. I'm giving it 2 stars because Yelp may not post with just one. read more

I really was hoping not to write this review as I really thought as a loyal customer I would have been compensated today for getting an infection on my toe the week before at this establishment. I went last week to get my pedicure and didn't need my manicure at the time. The lady doing my pedicure cut my cuticle and I had redness and swelling by Monday. I had to go to the Doctor and get antibiotics. My husband told me to never go back, but they have always done a great job, so I went back today for my manicure, explained to the front young girl about my toe infection from the week before while she was filing my shellac and she said she would talk to the manager. When I went to pay, thinking they would comp my nails due to the infection, I explained again to my nail tech who was checking me out. She said she was glad it was better (yes after a dr visit and antibiotics) and charged me anyway. Oh well, lesson learned, husband will give me a told you so! Too bad they lost a customer. read more

I came from Houston looking for a good nail salon. But this one failed me. The pedicure was amazing! Why though? Bc I got everything I didn't ask for but was charged for it. When I got my nails done the woman was rushing & not one of my nails had an even end, they weren't square at the ends they were crooked. By the time I got home my shellac paint WAS PEELING OFF. I was so mad but didn't want to go back & have them do it all over again & do it wrong AGAIN. Then while I was getting them done, the lady said what kind of pedicure did you get? I said the regular one, bc I was never asked which one to choose from. She said no. You got (whatever it's called) and I asked "Well how much is that?" & she said 45. My aunt recommended I go see Holly here at Flawless. I scheduled an appointment and they were able to get both me and my mom in on the time I needed. Upon entering, we were greeted, chose our polishes and taken back to the pedicure area. We were seated next to each other- only downfall, my massage chair didn't work. I like that they use the plastic covering for the pedicure sinks, it just feels more hygienic this way! The water was warm and Holly got started on my pedi. I opted for the $35 pedi, included scrub & hotel towels. The massage was nice and Holly did a great job on my toes. They offered drinks and checked in with us throughout the pedi. Following that, I got a basic manicure. I am not normally one for regular polish (usually go with Shellac) and I know why- I can mess them up instantly. Before even leaving the salon, I had to have Holly do a quick touch-up. I like that you can dry your toes and nails at the same time. The salon was very clean, we didn't feel cramped in there. She used sanitized implements, which not all salons such as this do. I enjoyed the massaging chair and the foot, leg, arm and hand massages. The salon is clean and neat. This craftsmanship and customer service at this nail salon is horrible. I've gotten a full set of nails at least three times at this nail shop and each time my nails started lifting within a week and a half. The technicians seemed to be mostly friendly and courteous, but during my most recent visit, one of the technicians started spraying and disinfecting the spa chair I was in as soon as I finished getting my pedicure. There were other customers that left before I did and I didn't see anyone spray or disinfect their chairs. I'm black, so I was very offended by this. I am a very hygienic person and I didn't waste, spill, or drop anything on the spa chair, so clearly their intentions were malicious and racist. Even though the technicians never said or did anything to my face that was disrespectful, I'm still not interested in patronizing a business that looks at me as being "dirty" or not good enough. I refuse to spend my hard-earned money where I am not respected. I will not be returning and I would not recommend this nail salon. read more
