I highly recommend this place! I just left a 90-minute massage with Summer & it was as beyond amazing: such a wonderful treat to be pampered with just the right amount of pressure! I have also had massages with Pat & Renee. I don't know which massage therapist is better, so you won't go wrong if you choose any of these three ladies!!! read more

I love Akoya Face and Body. From Sabrina, Pat, Bailey, Kate. Upon my arrival in the Webster area, I looked for a spa. I'm so glad I found this gem. They offer full line of services. Massages, facials, spa packages, specialized services. Waxing, etc. When you arrive, after checking in, you're seated inside a special room, with soft music, lights. They offer hot tea or water, then you're welcomed by your therapist. I always leave very relaxed and happy. read more

Loved my experience at Akoya spa, Renee's massage was gentle but firm especially with my stiff shoulders, and she was patient and knowledgeable and generous with the time I got. Britney was a joy to get a facial from, a cheery, sociable and fun experience catered specifically for my skin. Judy the owner was also lovely to us and helped our group of 5 with our spa day to make sure we were all accommodated (so we made sure to call a couple days ahead of time) Will definitely be back! My skin is already healing and glowing haha. read more

This is my first massage that's recommended by other yelpers. I usually just get a Groupon coz I'm cheap but I always end up dissatisfied. I read the stellar reviews of this place and I thought I couldn't go wrong with it. I checked their prices and they're one of the more reasonably priced ones in the area. I very badly needed a deep tissue massage and not only that, but just to release tension overall and loosen tight muscles. It's been 10 days today since my brother died and the lack of sleep and overall stress is taking a toll on me. So, I took the plunge and got the 90 min deep tissue session. I booked last night and I'm scheduled at 1 pm the next day. I walked in 10 mins before 1 pm and was ushered to the waiting room. The kind lady gave me a mint-infused water. Shortly after, Pat came and took me to the massage room. I have to say, she probably started on the dot, right at 1 pm. And I really like that. There's rarely any place now that starts on time. More often, they start ushering in clients at the start of the session. So the actual massage is about 10-15 mins later than the start time. When Pat finished, she clocked out at 2:27 pm, which isn't bad at all so I have time to dress up. Yea, I'm really a stickler when it comes to time and this place sure did impress me. On my intake form, I mentioned that I'm not new to massages and I give them consent to "dig deep". And boy, did she dig deep! And I love it! I don't know how many times I drifted in and out of sleep during the entire session. And I'm very impressed at how consistently she maintained the pressure the entire duration of the session. I'm home now and I'm about to pass out. And that's a really good thing! I'll be back for more sessions for sure! read more

Sabrina is so amazing! From the moment I walked in I felt so welcomed and relaxed. The facial was incredible, the ambiance was peaceful and I will definitely be coming back regularly for one :) read more

Got massages by Rene friday and I find it hard to believe a masseuse doesn't know where the radial and sciatic nerve runs and to avoid it. My time in the military taught me these areas are great to use on bad guys. I'll save my money and let the Rottweiler down the road maul me for an hour instead for free. This was worse than a Thai massage. At least they stay on the muscles.... read more

I've visited Akoya for many different treatments and have always been satisfied. For the value, these are some of the best massages in the area, hands down. The quality of massage is really outstanding, I would put them up against any big spa inside the Loop. As for the facials, I have enjoyed them and think they are professionally done, and again, really outstanding for the Clear Lake and extended area. They have most of the things you would look for and the quality is comparable with the bigger competitors like Milk and Honey. The spa has new equipment, the owner has clearly invested in this place. The services and areas where the services are performed are great. I will however say, they do not have a shower area or locker room, there are no extra amenities, and the waiting area is not particularly relaxing or extra comfortable. This is not a spa you go to to hang out with your friends all day and have a mimosa. And you know what, that's more than fine and you're also not having to pay for all that extra stuff. Again, I can't recommend this place enough. I think Akoya has really gotten it down and invested in great technicians and equipment. It's clean, professional and top notch service. read more

Everyone was extremely nice. The spa was tranquil. The massage was incredibly relaxing.

I came in and decided to invest my money on the acne facial. I definitely was wanting to quit using the face wash I was using called Osmosis and use there's for two weeks to see how my skin was. As you can see the Face Reality made a difference in my skin! Amazing! I only was using face cleanser, the acid serum, and face moisturizer. The key is to definitely drink water to stay hydrated and eat healthy and stay active. With all this the results show read more

This is my go to place to treat myself! I've been a few times and finally convinced my husband to join me. He received the mancial which he raved about. My husband is not one to usually take the time and spend his money on a facial, but he said it was a five star experience. His skin is glowing and he enjoyed the extraction portion of the facial. I had Sabrina who is lovely and very knowledgeable about my skin type since she's worked on me the past few years. My facial this time had a plethora of lovely aromas. From a paprika mask to a seaweed mask and ooh the yummy smelling strawberry lotion neck/hand massage everything was perfect. I love that Sabrina adds the massages while you wait for your masks to do their magic. I have purchased a few of their items and the mandelic acid works like a charm!! Akoya is the best. I only wish my budget allowed me to visit more often! I recommend this place to all. read more

I've been here twice already. First for a massage and then for a lash lift-- loved both! Staff is very kind, accommodating, and the therapists are all very skilled. I've had much more expensive massages before from various different spas in the past;however, none have compared to the quality that I found here. I'll be back! read more

I wanted to celebrate Valentine's Day weekend with my boyfriend in the most relaxing way possible. Akoya Spa did just that for us ! It was our first time, and the experience was phenomenal. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with smiling faces. We're brought to a consultation room with coconut water and some yummy pretzels we both received a facial and massage. Our esthetician was so informative and listened to our needs. The massage therapist left us soooo relaxed. & to tie it all up, we were given some roses and chocolate before we left. Everyone was absolutely so friendly, courteous, & professional. We were relaxed alllll day ! Thank you Akoya !! read more

Im a licensed massage therapist and I had a really healing time at Akoya. I saw Thor who did a really great deep tissue! Suffering a lengthy history of trauma, I am very apprehensive of seeing male therapists. He is very professional and never made me feel uncomfortable. You could tell the intention his work is healing. I literally had to pull over after the massage I was so relaxed. To boot, he seemed to fix the spot in my back I asked him to fix that has been bothering me for years. read more

This is such a nice place! They're facial left my skin feeling so smooth and rejuvenated. The staff was super nice. They're checking everyone's temperature at the door and making sure to take presidir COVID. I ended up buy a few skincare products from them, because I loved them. They also have organic products, which I love! Cannot wait to go back for other services. read more

Pat gave me exactly what I wanted ! The best birthday massage ! The essential oils were a plus .

Staff is friendly. Calm atmosphere and massage was so good! Would recommend the 90 minute one!

This place was amazing! It was my first facial ever and it was a great experience. The check in process was super smooth, I did the consult before my facial to see what would be best for my skin. They were really knowledgeable about the problems with my skin, what they would do to help and how I could prevent it as well. Everything was relaxing nothing hurt or burned plus I left looking amazing!! Glowing skin and all read more

Omg the best experience ever! I can't remember the young ladies names that did my services but they were awesome! When you first walk in you are greeted by a lovely receptionist who takes you to a waiting room and offers you tea and fruit! I was then taken for my massage which was the most relaxing thing. It was quiet and calm and the young lady was gentle and made sure I was ok. I received the Amaterasu Package and the scrub was so nice. The whole atmosphere was amazing. After I was done I received my facial, I wish it was longer lol so I'll make sure to schedule extra services next time. The facial was nice and I smelled so good after everything! I highly recommend this place and plan on scheduling a facial soon for me and my husband. read more

Wow! Akoya blew me away! I scheduled a massage with Mandy on a Friday afternoon. I arrived a few minutes early to walk into a beautiful, clean space. I was instantly greeted and taken to the waiting room and provided with water. Again, I love the atmosphere and how relaxing the vibe is! After a few minutes, Mandy came in and greeted me and we went back. The rooms are stunning and the bed was warmed. Now Mandy- literally amazing. She was professional and thorough, and addressed the issues we discussed about my back. I was so relaxed I was snoring on my back! I opted for the 90 minute custom massage- the price is amazing, and overall, the whole experience was incredible! I look forward to coming back here again soon! read more

I wish I did a before photo but I am very insecure about my facial hair. I was greeted and offered a mint water , which was refreshing as I filled out my profile. Then I was greeted by Ms Judy Tseng. She was so kind and professional. She took her time and make sure facial wax was done with perfection! The atmosphere is very calming and chatted with her here and there. When I left I looked in the mirror that was in the lobby and I couldn't believe the difference! I loved it and my face felt fantastic! I booked my follow up appointment for my next wax plus a facial. I am very excited to go back!! Thank you so much Ms. Tseng! I feel confident to show my face. read more

Went here a few weeks ago and got a 90 minute massage. The massage was great and helped relieve me of tension in my neck/shoulders. The reason I gave 4 stars is because I filled out a pre-massage survey/form prior to coming for my appointment, and it seemed the masseuse was not provided that information. I don't get the point of filling out a form with my preferences if you don't adhere to them. read more

Excellent service and atmosphere. Well priced and so relaxing! Angie was the sweetest and explained everything so well. I did the cellulite wrap. I highly recommend it. read more

I found AKOYA looking for a spa day for a friend's Birthday. It was short (the day before!) notice and they worked some magic and got us in! We had a massage and a mini facial. The Birthday girl and I were greeted with smiles and kindness. Judy tailored our mini facial to our needs and has the perfect touch. The massage left us wishing we would've booked it for 2 hours. We were so impressed with everyone there. I have been back to Judy multiple times and she is transforming my skin. My whole family now goes to her. Her passion, heart, and talent are unmatchable. We continue to look forward to our visits to AKOYA. read more

Went for my first acne facial treatment today, Judy explained to me about my skin thoroughly in the consultation session, and really went above and beyond in making sure I was comfortable during the treatment. Judy also gave me some great diet tips to help my skin. The treatment itself was amazing, the place was very clean and relaxing. Also, shout out to Sara and Sarina for the amazing service and friendly attitude. Absolutely love this place and will definitely be a regular customer! read more

I've been receiving massages fairly regularly for the past year or so, and I've run the gamut from $50 massages at Massage Envy to $800 couples massages at the Wynn in Las Vegas. Of all the massages I've ever had (which includes approximately 20-25 unique massage therapists) the 90 minute massage I had with Chelsea was absolutely *world class* . I can't speak more highly about the quality of the massage that Chelsea provides! I chose a Swedish massage with firm pressure and it was perfection. It blows my mind that of all the reviews on this website there's only one other review that speaks (highly!) of Chelsea. Make no mistake you are getting a world class massage at an amazingly affordable deal! Chelsea's technique is easily in the tier of the couples massage I had at the Wynn in Las Vegas, and I strongly recommend her! I'm extremely stingy with 5 star reviews. You know it means something when I give one out. Book a massage with Chelsea...now! read more

i regularly book with sabrina for my facials and wow! she is absolutely AMAZING. words cannot describe my skin transformation. she has changed my life! my mom, who constantly struggles with back/arm soreness and aches, regularly books with thor for her massages and raves so highly of his ability to target those much needed areas! if you are looking for a great deep tissue masseuse, book with thor before his schedule fills! truly, akoya face + body is the best spa in the area! from the moment you enter the spa to the moment you leave, expect nothing but the absolute best customer service. read more

Love Akoya Spa! Everyone is incredibly friendly plus the entire spa is so relaxing. I love coming in to take a break from the chaos of the real world. I had such an amazing time today. I went for a treat myself birthday gift and it was awesome Tylee (spelling? I'm sorry ‍) was so sweet and easy to talk to. I had been looking forward to my first facial and had a super rough morning. She recommended the mochi facial (added a manual extraction) which includes a buccal(cheek) massage to help relieve stress and tension in the face. I was grinding my teeth all morning so of course I tried it. It was perfect, just what I needed. I walked out feeing stress free for the first time all month. Highly recommend. read more

I hesitated to review this place because selfishly I wanted to keep it a secret! But I know that's not fair, so here's to a great review for a really wonderful place. The folks at Akoya know all about customer service. They treat you kindly and courteously, and are very accommodating. The massage therapists are skilled, professional, and willing to go the extra mile. They've even given me tips on stretches to do to help reduce my discomfort! Unlike other places, I love that they're not looking to up-sell, but rather focus on providing excellent service to customers when in need. read more

Akoya has brought me out of my Yelp review slumber!! *confetti shoots in air* I had the pleasure of spending a few hours of my birthday in this beautiful spa. I was running a little late due to typical Houston traffic but these ladies were very understanding. I arrived at my appointment and was greeted by name and wished away to the relaxation area. There, I filled out my necessary documents and when I was done my masseuse was standing by waiting. I had a 90 minute customized massage. It was amazing!! How amazing you ask? Couldn't tell ya, I fell asleep. Right after I had my massage, the facial specialist came in and immediately began my facial. Now this facial thing is new to me because I'm very sensitive about my face but my goodness it was soooooo relaxing. I advised her of my sensitive skin and she only organic products. The ambience was amazing! The staff was professional and quiet during my visit. I will return. Oh did I mention the eucalyptus foot bath I had while I waited on my ride home?! This place deserves 6 stars!! read more

Can't say enough great things about Akoya! The new facility is extremely nice, and all the staff have great attitudes and treat you very well! My wife and I get massages here regularly, and all of the Massage Therapists are great. I have been using Mandi Fuller specifically for about a year and she is amazing at her craft. I have never walked out of a session with her without feeling completely rejuvenated and having all the back and muscular pains healed. She will come up with a plan each session to work out the 'ailing' areas, and also make the massage relaxing without hurting you. I would not go anywhere else! read more

Had a great facial and I appreciated the assessment and suggestions on other treatments I might consider. Definitely recommend them. BTW they are moving to a new location on NASA Rd 1 soon. read more

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience at Akoya. I came in for a prenatal massage and a lash tint. The woman who gave me my prenatal massage was unprofessional and the entire massage felt rushed - as if she was doing me a favor. She also asked me to lay on my belly *my very pregnant belly* for the duration of the massage (which I refused) and then she placed one pillow to my side...which is not typical for a prenatal massage. Then, my lash tint - I had to wait for 30 minutes ( I think they forgot that I was waiting). The tint burned by eyes SO badly. The girl said that it was normal to burn a little but I actually couldn't see out of my eyes for about 5 minutes because they were tearing and burning so badly - I had to demand to wash my eyes out in the bathroom sink because she just kept telling me that it was normal and squirting saline into my eyes - FYI...this is not normal. And, to top it off, I couldn't notice any tint at all on my lashes after it was all said and done. Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience and will likely not return. I have had two very very good massages here in the past but this terrible experience would make it very difficult for me to return. read more
