I have been going to Flawless for a few years now, but this most recent Spring/Summer I became a regular for spray tanning and eye lash extensions for all of my wedding-related activities. The tanning has always been amazing, Kenzie and Tana both do an excellent job on the tan, and they go out of their way to make you few comfortable. Highly recommend paying the extra fee for the Express solution! This was my first experience with lash extensions, and Niki was AMAZING! I did extensions for ~6 months and she has always done a beautiful job, I constantly get compliments for my lashes from friends and family. I could not recommend her more highly. I told myself after my wedding I would stop getting extensions, but couldn't resist for a few more months after (warning, it's addicting!). I had the best experience with Sequoia and team at Flawless! I had my makeup done by Flawless for a friend's wedding a few years ago and LOVED the way it turned out, so I knew I wanted to use their services for my wedding! Fast-forward to this year and being a COVID-bride, it was a lot of uncertainty and changes. Flawless was so great to work with, when I went for my trial run for makeup a few weeks prior, Sequoia had rules in place to protect her staff and her clients. Only one client is allowed at a time and everyone wears masks (until your actual makeup application). The place is so clean and Sequoia asked me tons of questions to determine exactly what I wanted. I could not be happier with the results, the Flawless team made my bridesmaids and I feel beautiful! The airbrush foundation is incredible, and I got the look I wanted, which was soft, romantic, and not too overdone. My sister and I also got spray tans at Flawless a few days prior and would definitely recommend them for that service. I've gotten spray tans at other places before, but they really knew exactly what to ask and what level to recommend, my sister and I loved how our tans turned out. I used Flawless for all my recent wedding needs (hair, makeup, tanning, lashes) and the loyalty I have had to Sequoia and her team is well deserved. They have made me feel so confident over the years and it's truly a gift. All Flawless services are 5 Stars, but this review will focus on a newer service at Flawless The Salon now offers...facials! As mentioned above, I am extremely loyal when to comes to beauty services. I have been seeing the same facialist at Gene Juarez for years and years. Nobody has been able to compete with her, until now! Margarita is a skilled esthetician that was also a delight. I want my facial to be more than a 'fluff and fold' and make an impact on my skin. Margarita delivered just that. Extractions are very important to me and Margarita was excellent in clearing up the congestion throughout my nose and forehead. The products used were customized and high quality (I love Skin Authority). As much as I need my facials to be productive, I am pleased to report that Margarita gave an incredible upper body massage. This is where she really found a way to surpass my experience at Gene Juarez. Plus... this service was $100 more affordable than what I was previously paying. I'll be back every month! read more

Inexperienced lash stylist that makes no suggestions regarding advise on lash styles . Very inconsistent and both sides are different Requiring repeated visits . They tried to charge me $60 for a mini fill 3 days after my fill appt ! Really -the stylist did a poor job ! Giving a stylist a chance to get things right is a fair thing to do ... the owner Sequoia doesn't suggest alternatives such as perhaps trying a more experienced stylist ... She is obviously not a good manager or owner ...who cares about her clients or her reputation. Will take my business elsewhere.... After several visits, though, in the interest of review reliability, my review must take into consideration that on a couple of recent occasions, application has been less than "flawless" - a standard this business has proven it is capable of maintaining. (Issues have been quite uneven application and failure to provide depth of color requested.) Do be sure the person providing your service understands exactly what you want, and do speak up during your service if you have questions about the way product is being applied. You will, in all likelihood, be thrilled with the results! You are not going to find a salon where a more natural airbrush tan is created for clients, so if you're on the fence, absolutely give them a try. Ashley did an awesome job on my makeup for my wedding day! I had never had airbrush makeup before until my trial, but I absolutely loved the results. Their location in Kirkland (where I went for my trial) is super cute and easy to find, right in the middle of downtown Kirkland. The shop is a little small, but it's efficient and as long as there aren't a bunch of people in there at one time, it's fine. My trial went really well, and Ashley listened carefully to what I wanted (I don't wear a lot of makeup in "real" life, so I was a little nervous about going all-out for my big day) and she created a look that felt like me, but better! My skin truly looked flawless, and I loved it so much I kept it on all day. I only had a few tweaks I wanted to make for my wedding day (looks I saw on Pinterest after my trial appointment), and Ashley was receptive to the changes. She showed up on time the morning of the wedding, and was sweet and genuinely excited for us as we got ready. She finished quickly, and helped keep me relaxed the entire time. While at first I was afraid my new look turned out a little heavy, I trusted Ashley and found that what I thought looked like "too much" in person (keeping in mind that I hardly wear makeup normally) actually ended up looking gorgeous in pictures! I joined the flawless beauty bar membership program back in January and I'm actually looking forward to my 6 months required duration of a membership to be over. I have tried really hard to like this business but I can't say that I'm impressed at all. This review is solely based on their sunless tanning & way they run their establishment and not their makeup service. The tan: I shower once daily and don't exercise so I really was expecting my tan to last at least a week but it didn't. I tried the Prep spray and different variations of the tan but it never seemed to last more than 5 days. The fragrance that I've added also doesn't really seem to help that much. The color is very natural and looks nice for the first two days. Making appts/hours: There have been multiple times I have tried to make an appointment by calling them and I don't get a response or one day the phones were even completely disconnected. I know they have an online appointment making tool but I'm not interested in making an account in order to do that. I think it's very unprofessional for a business to be unreachable during normal business hours for more than 15 minutes. They close early during the week and they are usually booked on the weekends so getting in is a pain for me. Value: I pay $65/mo to get 2 regular spray tans which isn't too bad but again, not really impressed for that price. The staff is really friendly but I just haven't felt like this place is convinient or accomodating. If they had a better membership Value and were open later I'd probably try them again. read more

I had read all of the rave reviews for Flawless and decided to spend the cash to get a custom spray tan before my wedding and forego the booth which had done wonders many times before. The day of my appointment, for the trial run, the girl evaluated my skin tone, discussed the color I was looking for and proceeded to tell me what I could expect...even mentioned that I would have a green tinge to my skin before rinsing the next morning. To my surprise the color was AMAZING the next morning. I was a believer that the booth was not the best anymore. I came back the night before the big day a month later. The girl I had seen for my initial session was not in the shop that day and she had promised that even if she wasn't available that her "notes" would indicate the colors she used. Of course there were no notes to be found. Sadly, I was convinced to continue on and she promised it would be a "light" color with NO orange. I woke up early that morning horrified at my hands and feet. So very orange I was. The day was far from ruined and was it a minor glitch in the whole experience, yes of course. I am posting this for critical feedback to Flawless. I'm glad most others had a better experience! read more

I walked out feeling like a million bucks albeit a bit "greasy" for a lack of a better word and looking forward to being able to take a shower. I went to Flawless Beauty Bars before an event that I was attending this previous month. It was kind of a last minute choice because it was close to where I lived. I rarely get spray tans so I was hesitant at first. The girl that helped me was very nice and explained to me everything thoroughly. I even had a mishap happen that night and when I called she was very nice about having me come back in before they closed that evening. Although the staff was very welcoming and friendly, I was somewhat disappointed with the airbrush tan itself. I had gotten one about 2 and a half weeks prior at a different salon and had no problems like I had here. The tan only lasted about 4 days, and I only shower once a day. My hands and feet were very blotchy in places. I am not sure I would come here again for a spray tan. read more

I had Elle do both my and my mother's make-up for my wedding and I couldn't be happier! First of all, Elle is awesome! Super nice, listens to feedback, and of course, a great make-up artist. Neither my mother or I wear a ton of make-up. In fact my mom wears hardly any make-up at all and I was really afraid we would look like drag queens. Turns out I had nothing to fear. We looked bright and fresh and Elle even found a pair of fake eyelashes that my mom liked! One of my other fears was that our eyebrows would look too heavy. We're both very fair and have invisible eyebrows. It's a little shocking to have eyebrows when you're not used to it and Elle did a great job of making them light and helping us still feel like ourselves. I religiously followed the instructions: waited 2:30 hours for the color to develop, then rinse. Result: white face, one side more tanned than the other, white upper body, super dark legs. I have been coming here for lashes since August. Colleen is quick and always keeps my lashes looking natural. I don't like them to look fake, just enhance my face a bit. They stay on for longer than any other place I've ever used. I've also had a lash lift here and it lasted for 10 weeks. My lashes honestly looked like extensions. The makeup artists here make you look amazing for any occasion. A fancy night out or just a night on the town. Sequoia and her gals are wonderful. I went twice in the pasty month of December for special events and have been very impressed with their service. I sprayed my chest with perfume after my first tan. I swung by late in the day, panicked at my super blotchy chest and they re-sprayed my chest beautifully (and it was complementary.) She takes a lot of time with the hands & feet using brushes and care on the nails and both times they looked perfect. I also love that she offers a big discount to high school girls who sign a contract to stay out of tanning beds. Super honorable. read more

My girlfriend's and I all came here last week to get spray tans for our BFF's wedding. Sequoia did an AMAZING job. My friends literally were coming up to me asking if I just got back from Mexico at the wedding HAHA. Since we don't get any sun in Seattle spray tans are the way to go! She airbrushes it on you so you can request to have certain places darker or lighter. Unlike the 4 or whatever position machines, she does several to make sure she doesn't miss any spots. My tan never creased either which was great! And it only takes 20 minutes start to finish. I am pretty fair skinned but got a little base tan from labor day weekend so I went with medium-light and it look very natural. Our other friend who is Italian got medium and she and I almost turned out the same color LOL. I guess the one good thing is that we all were basically the same color of the wedding pictures haha. I was kind of worried doing it a day before the wedding but in retrospect it was find. If worse came to worse, I would have just scrubbed some of it off. MY ADVICE: To get the most color and bang for your buck, wait 12 hours to shower. I am definitely coming back here in February before my trip to Hawaii for my uncle's wedding! read more

Unfortunately, my spray tan ended up being not so flawless. The employees were very friendly and professional. However, for a $60+ spray tan, I feel that there should be greater attention to detail. I am fair-skinned and have been spray-tanning for 10+ years now. The solution they used was a little on the orange side, and I feel that there are better, more bronze solutions out there. My spray tan ended up with some very saturated (orange) areas on my hands and some white (missed) spots on my arm and leg. While the spray tan experience was great, the spray tan itself could have been better, especially for the price. This tan is just one step up from the spray booths, unfortunately. read more
