There was a changing room for me to change into the dress so the nice woman doing the alterations could mark where she needed to make the dress shorter. It really took no time at all and she was very friendly. The dress was ready in less than a week but it was very expensive! My dress has two layers so maybe that is why it cost $70 (plus a $10 tip I added) to get the dress altered. She did an amazing job, so it is definitely worth it but dang...$70 seems high!

When I first arrived I was greeted by what I assume is the owner. She was professional and prompt. Asked what I needed, got me into my suit and measured in a matter of minutes which I appreciated. I needed to have my suit pants and jacket sleeves hemmed. I dropped off on a Monday and needed the following Thursday (so about 10 days). I felt this was an ample amount of time but again, my first experience so I wasn't sure. The lady seemed to give the impression this was a quick turn but told me she could do it. The cost was $70 which I honesty don't know is good or bad. It didn't really matter to me, what was important was getting it done. I showed up Thursday only to learn my suit wasn't complete. This was a huge disappointment. Thankfully I planned ahead and told her Thursday knowing I wouldn't need it until Friday evening. She promised me it would be done Friday morning and when I returned the next day it was done. It looks great. My advice would be to always give yourself a day or two extra and just live with the expectation they will not get it done in time. Don't set yourself up for disaster.

I brought the dress to sterling cleaners to see if they could work some magic and get the blue dye stains out- I really didn't think it was possible. I also needed to pick up the dress the next day in time for my trip. They were soo nice and helpful! The man took it and did a quick spot check to see if they could get it out & was successful, so I left it along with another dress to be cleaned. There were several of these blue spots all over the dress... & They were able to get them ALL out and have it ready in time for my vacation! I honestly cannot believe they were able to fix it & have it ready in time! I am sooo thankful and truly recommend them to anyone! They were nice, helpful, professional and worked some magic!! When I tried to zip up the dress when it wasn't even on my body I noticed it would get stuck in the middle where there was a seam at the waist of the dress. Well I've dealt with that before so I just decided to deal with it. Well, two days later when I zipped it up for the wedding, the zipper completely split and was irreparable for the wedding. I was the MOH and NEEDED this dress so literally had to be sown into the dress. There was still space in the dress so it's not like I just didn't have room and was forcing the zipper. When I confronted the seamstress she told me it was my fault and there was nothing she could do. This dress was very expensive and I am upset that it is now unwearable ever again.

I've had pants hemmed many times by the inseam measurement and have never had a problem. She insisted that I try on each pair while she pinned them up. I knew they were not going to be correct and I should have left and took them somewhere else. It took them a week which I felt was too long. It usually takes a couple of days at other places. Three out of the four pair are TOO SHORT and she charged me $56. Over $200 worth of jeans are now ruined. I would not recommend this place since they can't even do a simple job of hemming a pair of jeans. There are more affordable options available where you can get better customer service, quality work, and a faster turnaround.
