If you have the privilege of getting married at The Holly Farm you will have the incredible…read moreopportunity to have La Crème be your caterer/bartenders/decorators/rental coordinator/etc all weekend long! I will start by prefacing that La Crème + Holly Farm give their 1000% to every wedding that happens at their venue, which means you won't really begin working with La Crème until about 2-3 months prior to your wedding date. The first month or so will be spent talking through ideas and inspiration, likely doing your tasting (which is a literal 5 star experience) and the last two months is where you will really get a final breakdown of cost and timeline. If you are a slightly anxious/overly organized bride like me, I know this can seem stressful. I suggest you ask them early on for a realistic estimate based on the number of guests and events you will be having. And then..add an extra 15% on top of that, and set that money aside as you are going through your planning process, because trust me, you won't want to skimp on what La Crème has to offer. Now that the money talk is out of the way.. the service and food that La Crème provides is out of this world. We had an Indian/Mexican fusion wedding and had all our food and alcohol handled by La Crème for the entire weekend. It's not a typical process where you pick from a list of options based on a fixed menu with prices. La Crème creates every menu from scratch based on the couple and their preferences, and then they adjust based on your budget. Chef Joe and Tamie's team had just a few conversations with us about our cultures, favorite foods, family preferences and then they created an entire world personalized to who we are as people. Perfectly marrying the cultural cuisines in a fun yet respectful way, taking our request to dedicate a bar to our dads and creating the *cutest* Dad Cave with all their favorite brands of Scotch & Mezcal, and seamlessly making everything appear and disappear like magic. Aside from the food being incredible, our guests felt taken care of at every moment. They are not just caterers, they are the people who make sure you aren't getting too chilly in the evenings, they are the energy keeping the drinks flowing at the bar as friends order round after round (after round), they are your partners when families decide the day of the wedding they are coming and you need to change the seating arrangement, they are a familiar face that comes up to you at the reception and tells you how happy they are for you. They are everything you could want, you just need to have faith that they will step in when it's your turn and they will blow you away at your wedding. A special shout out to Tamie, Chef Joe, and the sweetest Soquel for making us feel so special all weekend long and treating our family like your own. We are so lucky to have worked with you :)

Italian cowboys bbq catering did not disappoint. We had them cater for our wedding rehearsal dinner. And boy did all my guests rave about their food and after weeks of the event they still talk about it. I even had 5 Kansas City BBQ judges at the event and they absolutely loved it. One of the judges could not make it to the rehearsal because of work so his fiancé brought him some to try.. and they said it was still spot after a couple of hours. We ordered the Tri tip, chicken ,Mac cheese, garlic bread and green salad. Now let's talk about the the salad. I am not a rabbit but their greenery and dressing was local and tossed with the freshest ingredients. The Mac and cheese was a staple with all the 20 kids running around that they wanted more the next day. It was cheesy, stringy and the noodles were not al dente, it was definitely kid and adult approved. The chicken breasts were smoked and it was so juicy. I worry sometimes that smoking it too long can dry it a bit, but not this time. Now the Tri tip! It had a beautiful smoke ring, any bbq lover would appreciate seeing that ring since we eat with our eyes first. He catered to the majority not having too much rare or well done Tri tips which was a plus since there was no left overs fir me to take home . I'm selfish when it comes to food I love. The Tri tip was juicy, and tender definitely tasted the Smokey flavor. He had two sauces. One of the sauces it took him a few years to perfect which was sweet and with a hint of spiciness. The sauce complimented the Tri tip very well, did not take away the taste of the meat which we never want. But the meat itself was killer, you actually did not the sauce but some prefer dipping their meats into them so if you were pick their specialty sauce. Everything that was suppose to be served hot was hot. Been to weddings, catered events where the meat is cold. Their prices are affordable, they work with your budget and what you want. Besides the delicious food, their customer service, John Cardinalli and company were spot on. Writing this review makes me crave for their meat. So if you are planning to have a bbq Catering don't hesitate, try them, you won't be disappointed.

Working on the menu together was a joy. He listened closely to what mattered to us, and where we didn't have strong opinions, we trusted his suggestions completely. They were spot-on. I wanted to honor my Filipino heritage, and he wove island flavors into an Italian-forward menu in a way that felt thoughtful and seamless. We also needed everything to be gluten-free, and he handled it so well that no one would have known. The bruschetta with peach-glazed pork belly was a highlight, and our guests are still talking about the braised short ribs.
