I just closed a critical loan with Flatiron Realty Capital. It all started with a phone call from Ariel and then working with Ryan and Jazz to complete the due diligence and documentation. Everything moved relatively quickly. I had read reviews of the firm BUT and I understood t he fluidity of the type of loan I was getting so every step was explained with detail and patience. My partner and I were treated extremely well and I am very happy to have had the opportunity to work with the firm and develop a relationship. There were there were several challenges along the way. The challenges and their solutions define these relationships. There was some additional negotiation which was expected but everything was transparent and we worked to get the loan closed. The loan closed and I am excited about working with the firm on additional transactions. Thank you Ariel, Ryan and Jazz it was a great experience, all the through closing. These can be quick and in some ways easy, BUT the tradeoff is the fluidity required by all parties. We had a challenge that impacted the numbers but I understood it and it was explained and we solved the problem. I also understood that the money I paid in advance was not refundable as it was explained in detail and in any commercial financing you get hit for fees if the loan does not close. I have read some of the negative reviews and can appreciate that things don't always turn out well but there are always risks with these loans. Real review. I don't usually leave reviews but I was compelled to. I'm somewhat of a first time investor. I own a rental property but I paid cash so my first time needing a lender. I worked with Sam.
