They still let walk-ins go before me. They sat me in a dirty chair, but it was not as dirty as the one they sat a little girl in next to me. They rushed the toes then tried to cash out. I said I had a toe and nail appointment. The woman at the first seat, who was rushing everyone around, took me. She LOBED bio-gel on me, then drilled 99% of it off to get a regular nail, then rushed through the paint- the nails came out nice, and I said "I wonder what kind of work you would produce if you were not so rushed." Also, had my Apple ear buds in the whole to translating what they were saying and it was exactly like the movies-- talking trash about customers, joking with each other, and talking about who they needed to focus on and who could be rushed. I think it's important the staff know that new technology helps us now understand what they are saying. One really important thing- they do dips and the girl to my right had cut her clients cuticle and still dipped. That dip is then shared. That is a huge health hazard. I don't recommend anyone get dips ever because of stuff like this. But from my own hand gel and pedi catastrophe-- it's on par. Never again. 0/10- run.

It was lovely, clean, relaxing, and full of talented and friendly faces who clearly enjoyed working together and took pride in the place as a team. Whether you walked in or had an appointment, everyone greeted you. It was extremely rare to not be seen. This salon was sold in...fall? of 2022 (it is now Roadrunner Beauty), and those friendly faces have finally started to move on one-by-one with the arrival of the new year. It feels like only a matter of time before there is full turnover, including their clients. What used to be a reliable calm space with classic relaxing spa music has now become the equivalent of Facebook advertisements vomiting all over a salon to the sound of outrageously loud bro-country. No joke, I had my nails done to HONKY TONK BADONKADONK the last time I was there. On such a high volume that I could not hear my nail tech. And the only reason I've been seen, is I make an appointment personally with my favorite tech. I can't tell you how many people I've watched turned away or had their appointments they made with the new staff be wrong. The new owner has removed almost every décor item in the place and replaced it with an advertisement for a quick-fix medical procedure. Advertisements run on the televisions, and are shoved on standing posters between almost every piece of furniture. The atmosphere is almost as abrasive as the teen daughter of the owner that now runs the front desk most days. I've never seen someone struggle to answer a phone or greet people as much as this young woman does. She clearly doesn't want to be there, and she'll make you not want to be there either. Even when set up beautifully by a nail tech to upsell the services they've plastered around the place, I watched her scowl while yelling at the tech, "Oh my god it's on the website just tell her to look at it there." Nearly 5 minutes later she realized the person he was referring to was sitting in front of him, because she bothered to look up from her phone. Needless to say that customer was no longer interested in speaking with her when she ran over to not actually apologize. Also, this is why none of the staff respects her. She's a brat. If you've had the displeasure of being in the salon at the same time as the new owner, you'll see that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. The very first time I saw her in her new salon she was "holding court" with her entourage around her loudly speaking about how her new employees had better impress her. Apparently she didn't realize that she was making an impression herself, and it was quite poor. If you're a long time customer, I recommend you get your favorite techs contact information for when they leave to work somewhere nicer. If you've never been here before - I recommend you try a different place. The new staff isn't going to answer the phone if you call anyway. They either can't hear it ringing over Luke Combs singing about slapping asses, or don't care. Maybe both.
