Some things to consider when coming here: 1. It is NOT handicapped accessible, as is true of most of the buildings on this side of Church Street; it probably can not be made so. 2. Most of the negative or neutral reviews are very old, and some of the complaints are no longer valid, IMHO. 3. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. 4. The dancers are what they are in most gay strip clubs, some are pushy, others aren't. Flash is no different. If you don't like that, don't go to gay strip clubs. 5. Drink prices are about what other bars in the area charge; again if you don't want to pay those prices, don't go there. 6. The atmosphere is so much nicer than many of the gay bars we have visited. 7. Check out the entertainment BEFORE you go; then you don't have to complain about the lack of it afterwards. I am so angry and upset that Flash didn't allow a friend of mine who is an Indigenous 2 Spirit person with disabilities enter Flash because of their accessibility scooter. This is discrimination against this friend of mine based on their physical disabilities and I would also agree that Flash also might have discriminated against them based on their body size. Oppression of any kind is wrong. When this friend addressed Flash's oppressive behavior towards them, the owner who spoke to them that night and a staff of Flash who they spoke to the next day told them that Flash isn't accessible to wheel chairs or scooters and they wouldn't be able to use the washrooms at Flash with their scooter. Just saying that Flash isn't accessible to people who need to use mobility devides isn't enough. What is Flash doing to do better? Words aren't enough. They need to show in actions that they will do better. If Flash isn't able to be accessible to people with physical disabilities, then this bar needs to shut down. read more

This place was so much fun! Came visiting here from Washington DC during a cold Friday night with all my friends! We had a blast!!! The drinks were great, but pricy but great. The bartender was so cool and even let us dance in the main floor strip pole! We even got the bouncer to help us to the strip club were we all had a great night till late. I like this bar and go fairly often. have a private dance and they charge you 20$ just to 'rent' the room . it used to be 5, escalated to 20 pretty quickly - and you pay it that 20 bucks each time you have a dance. wow - pretty pricey so i've cut down the number of dances. i don't mind the pricey drinks - they're not THAT much more than another par - One of the bartenders gave me a real hard time about taking a cash advance on my visa to pay for dance. Well, it might cost the bar about 1 % or so to advance me the cash, but they immediately get 20 bucks for the dance, so figure that out - pretty bad math to not realize it's sorta in your favour to provide the advance. Well went for a first visit and this club had strippers, dance floor, 3 bars and great music. Private dances with the strippers are done in a back room that is clean and well maintained. This bar has amazing decor and was the site of several movie shoots. I once ate there when it was Bigliardi's Steak house. Now there is great Beef and Chicken served up daily. This is one of the friendliest places on Church Street. The hospitality from the staff, bartenders, clientele, and even the dancers is classy and top notch. Morgan James is the best host, whether she's hosting Jockstrap Thursdays or the front desk upon entrance. Some nights are quieter than others, but I don't mind it.
