My wife and I go to Oasis Aqualounge pretty often, and we usually have a great time there. Last night we went to celebrate my birthday, and it was honestly the first time we've ever had a bad experience. At one point, a lady at the bar told the bartender who was serving me not to sell me a beer. I asked if I had done something wrong, and she said no -- that if I had, I'd already be kicked out. Then she told me, quite rudely, that she wasn't going to serve me anything. It was awkward and honestly unnecessary. I asked to close my tab and called security. The security guard was nice and apologized, but explained that bartenders can decide who they serve. Still, there were people way more intoxicated than us, so it felt unfair and random. I really hope this was just a one-time thing, because we usually love the place -- the vibe is great and the staff is friendly. But maybe some extra customer service training for the night shift bartender would help avoid this kind of situation in the future. read more

8 Years Meant Nothing When a Straight Man Targeted Me--And Oasis Called It 'Following the Rules' I've been attending Oasis Aqualounge for over 8 years without a single issue. I've always followed the rules and respected the space. What happened recently left me feeling profoundly hurt and betrayed--not only by another guest, but by the venue itself. A straight man I had no interest in made a report about me after I rejected his attention multiple times. I believe this was a retaliatory act. I was banned shortly after. When I contacted management to explain, I was told I "wasn't believed." I followed their protocol and waited six months before reaching out again, only to be told the ban would remain--with no clear explanation. Oasis appears inclusive because many of their staff are gender-diverse. But when an issue actually arises, they take the side of the person with more power--silencing the one who was targeted. They claimed to have reviewed the security camera footage, which should have provided clear context. Yet they still chose to uphold the ban, ignoring eyewitnesses (including their own staff), and later instructing those staff not to speak to me. They now respond to public reviews with statements like "you broke the rules" to seem professional--but in my case, that's simply not true. I was respectful, careful, and committed to the space. What happened to me was erasure. This isn't what care or accountability looks like. As a queer and gender-expansive person, I feel gaslit, bullied, and cast out from a place I once called home. If you don't fit into their unspoken norms, you may not be protected here either. To management: When you enable entitled cis men to erase trans and gender-diverse people, you are choosing a side. If you know what I mean. I went on a weekday and the crowd was as raucous as Woodstock in '69. Great year, better number. Ha! In retrospect, 1969 was the year that my life took a bit of a nosedive. Lost my mum and even though pa was around, the drinking and grief kept him an arm's length away. Saw a piece of me disappear that year and what was left got turned inside out. My girlfriend and I went last night. I have been to a number of swinger clubs, but it was her first time and she was nervous. The woman who first took us on a tour of the facility became very aggressive at my girlfriend when she nervously giggled at the mention of "lube stations" or when she saw the dungeon. The Oasis manager did do what it took to make the situation right. She replaced the tour guide and gave us free drink tickets. But the damage was done and my girlfriend could not relax at all and we left after about 90 minutes. So, $115 CAD wasted on a 90 minute tour. I can say it did look like other guests were having a good time. It seems to me that the issue is just the one tour guide. read more

Definitely a very INTERESTING place. It is what it is advertised: an adults only, clothing optional social club. You can fully expect patrons to be walking around naked and engaging in sexual activity potentially everywhere save where the club requests it not be done (which is the reasonable locations of the washrooms, stairways, and I believe the hot tub). However, this does not mean going there is a definite way to have sex, and the primary rule is always "No means no, and only a solid yes means yes." There are wristbands you can wear to ward off unwanted attention: if you just want to watch, there is a wristband for it. It is also not a brothel. Staff were friendly and informative. Condoms are provided by the club in displays if you don't have any. You will see a surprising variety of body types, and based on a single experience, it is not a 'sausage party' full of overeager men harassing a much lower amount of women or couples. There are plenty of lockers, including lockers that are outside and even in the 'dungeon', so there's likely lots of storage space: the club can provide locks if you don't bring your own. There is a pool that is heated: it was open even at the end of March when the night was rather chilly (I was chilly outside in clothing); I don't know if it's open during the more wintery months like December, but it's possible if you really want to swim. I will list the small issues that keep this review from being a 5. 1) No one will force you to interact with each other unless you're part of some event like speed dating. Admittedly, I am shy and reserved, and hence kept all my clothes on, which might have limited my possibilities, but if you want to actually interact with people you will have to make some sort of effort. 2) The 'ballroom' with the stage is a bit small in terms of the stage. 3) If you are a single man, you are not allowed to go up to the third floor unless invited by a woman or a couple, except on Tuesdays I believe. This includes even having the staff giving you a tour: they will not let you up there even escorted by them. 4)There is a slightly sickly sweet underscent most everywhere, but that is probably a personal issue that others may not notice at all. Just letting you know it may exist. Still, if you know what you are looking for and what to expect, this is probably one of the best places in Toronto to do it. read more

Amazing! Me and my wife (M25/F27) went there recently for the first time and we will be making another visit shortly. Good/comfortable vibes, nice staff, and overall a good time. They don't even have a link of their community standards anywhere, I even asked them a link of their community standards to understand where I went wrong but no reply. Oasis was the first time that I know about a sex club and is a really amazing place I came there around 6 months almost every single day, there have a nice pool and hot tub, sauna, and a lot of beautiful sexy girls that I played with them, everything went amazing in summer 2022, after 6 months the management get used that I come a lot and play they a lot, they banned me from the club and told me that I can't come to the club because they believe to some guys that told to them on me lies that I break the roles, I was all the time respectful to the people the especially to the girls and couples and I will be all the time respectful to people, now I find clubs that more accept me and not complain that I come at the weekend in Mississauga, I contact everyone who go to Oasis in this days and they told me the management get rude to them and they need to think to be care about their customers, the only reason I do not give 1 star is that Oasis help me in 2022 and they was worth more than 5 stars feedback but after the management, they get rude to me and people that I know them I leave 2 stars because now only advantage in the place is the pool, hot tub, sauna and is in Toronto read more

My partner and I attended an the 1st taste event a few days ago. I pre-purchased the ticket online and this was a quick and efficient process. On the day of the event, we read the reviews posted by previous visitors, being a POC couple, the comments of racial discrimination/ profiling and rudeness of the staff were alarming. While I was not involved in those incidents, I can comment on our experience. We were greeted by a friendly bouncer, we were ushered into the club and were met by the most amazing Staff Member! The Staff made us feel welcome, relaxed and treated us with respect! We appreciated the explanation of the rules and were assisted throughout the process! The Bar staff were great, attentive and friendly! We did not experience any discrimination or profiling, it felt like a safe space and no one bothered us, everyone enjoyed themselves. Do you want to be honest? If you come here you will have a blast. They have and outdoor pool (kind of semi-chilly today, so I didn't submerged myself there, but it's on my mind now... I want to go to that pool). The hot tub was amazing. I almost forgot to write that the staff rocks because before you go inside, they'll explain to you how you should behave, what is not permitted, in general terms: be respectful, don't be pushy, and at least today no loners aloud. OK - so my girlfriend and I went to the Oasis and we were having several good times (lol): people of all shapes and sizes basking in the beauty of our shared drives... a wonderful time until... Around 930 or 10, the Leisure Suit Larry crowd started drifting in - fully dressed guys with their fully dressed girlfriends - sauntering through the playrooms and taking in the sights as though they were in a zoo or fresh sushi bar on all you can eat night. One fellow drifted in around midnight in a tasteful ensemble featuring a fedora, sunglasses (yup, the glaring midnight sun was hard to bear) shorts, a wife beater t-shirt and three day old whiskers (oh yeah - and cleverly worn in Puma sneakers), seated himself near the pool, and waited hopefully for his girlfriend to lose control of herself (who didn't). Not cool guys. A great place to have fun with someone you love, but it shouldn't be a gallery for fully dressed Walmart models. Come on management - enforce a clothes-free zone. read more

Best place to relax naked is during the day when it's not busy. :)). Clean, renovated, and friendly staff. They refresh the hot tub water every Tuesday and monitor the ph levels every hour through day and night. Hot tub temperature is usually kept at 102°F and the heated outdoor pool temperature is usually kept around 100°F. :). $80 Per couple for the whole day. Which includes in and out privileges. They also have lemon water available to rehydrate. Would love to see them carry healthy probiotic friendly low sugar raw fermented kombucha tea. It would also be nice if they would carry some crispy & juicy cold Granny Smith green apples. read more

There seems to be too many reviews where the staff intimidate people or feel they are in a far superior position to accuse customers of inappropriate behaviour when there's absolutely no assurances that the reviewers are incorrect or not. It's already a difficult situation to show up to a place like this and feel comfortable due to the nature of the business. But reading all these mixed reviews it's very telling to me that there's a lot of inconsistencies with service, cleanliness, food and beverage. read more

Hi there. I just arrived home feeling embarrassed and extremely frustrated. I thought it would be nice to spend one of the last days of summer weather, pool side at Oasis for my 4th ever visit. Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub were out of service. Due to the health/safety inspector's concluding it was not safe and or healthy for customers. I won't lie, they claimed it was safety reasons for a rope not being tied to an orange rubber dingy. So I believed them and I still do! Noticing the condition of the pool it was not something I would want to swim in anyways. Safety or an unhealthy swim all I wanted was a few drinks in the sun. I paid my $80 and enjoyed a few conversations beside the pool. I spoke with some regulars who have been going for 4 years apposed to my 4th visit! Disappointed with the quality of the water, they agreed the sanitation of the pool was not near standards and they left. The regulars know the next time they come, It will be back to business as usual and everyone's fine with that. I just felt bad for the guests from out of country or it was their first experience. But that's none of my business. I still had a female friend coming to meet me at 9:30 who has been asking I show her Oasis when she finished work. I had a few hours to kill so I met a man from France, and a girl that was new to Oasis. Anyways, the nice man from France went to explore the place and I spent another 20 mins or so chatting, drinking, eating with her and some other people. I know the rules of Oasis Aqualounge. I made sure to read all of the reviews, the rules, and have had many friends attend before me, and after me due to referral. At the end of our conversation, I did enquire if she was interested and she said no. And I never asked her again. It's hard enough sometimes to build the confidence to ask once. So, what happened to me after that I was really surprised. She made a complaint about me and security came outside to tell me. When I denied the acquisitions, she told me management would come back to talk to me. She returned to tell me I was to leave and see management at the door. After telling the man I was innocent. He refused to give me my $80 back or give me the chance to explain my side of the story. He said that once I've entered for 30 mins they will not refund me. Where the hell did this rule come from and most importantly, what did I do wrong? He also followed me down the street, called me back to which I thought would be an apology. I was banned. Like I said, this was my 4th time to Oasis and I brought a female companion with me every time. I'm not one of the creepy ones because there are so many of them. Some of the things I've heard come out of their mouths and things I've dealt with on the 3rd floor. And I get banned for this I'm sorry for the rant but I'm pissed this was not fair!! Even though I was already furious, I made sure to keep my voice low and not speak with the man in front of customers to make them feel uncomfortable. You pride yourself on being fair and equal to all sexes, races, preferences etc. I've never felt treated so unfairly in my life. I've never even wrote a review in my life. That is how disappointed and angry I am. I've made sure to tell all my friends about what happened to me that attend oasis. There is a lot of them and they know me well. I've been here quite a few times, always pretty fun. I came once when it was really dead, which wasn't the best, but every other time has been great. It also depends on who you go with, i'd recommend taking Someone open minded, who you can have fun with. Everyone is pretty nice and staff are great. The place itself is very clean and has an array of different themed rooms. The pool is amazing, especially at night. The only complaint I can think of is how narrow the stair cases are, it's a bit cramped passing other people, but this isn't a big deal. I'd definitely recommend coming here if you are an accepting, sexually open person. read more

I stepped into this club a year and a half ago. I wasn't social for a long time for many reasons. Oasis Aqualounge is one of those hidden gems I wish I knew about years ago but I guess it wasn't the right time then. Don't get me wrong It is exactly what you make it, if you go with an open mind and the right attitude you have the potential to have some amazing life changing experiences! You might learn more than you imagined, find an escape from the mundane and maybe even a place that you can call community! No where on earth is perfect but they try to make so many people happy it's a wonder to me! I've made friends and companions here who are make my days brighter. Visited last Saturday with a lady friend of mine. We arrived right around opening time and were the only people in the entire club for the first couple of hours. A few other couples trickled in by the time we left around 4:30, but overall a VERY slow day. Was hoping for a larger crowd, especially considering the hefty $95 entrance fee (which does not include any food and drinks aside from water). The club is in an old three story former residence. Clean and well-maintained. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. My friend and I were only given one of the "larger" lockers (which are half-sized), which was a tight fit for all of our clothes, shoes and winter coats. I realize space is tight, but two separate lockers would have been ideal. IMO this place should require guests to be nude at all times. Let's be honest, if you're coming to a place like this, you aren't shy. I was there once before during the summer on a weekday. Steady crowd, but not packed. Had more fun then. I may visit again some day. Perhaps they could close the pool during the winter months (it must cost a fortune to keep that pool at 100 degrees year-round) and lower the rates to draw more people. Having at least a basic food spread, even some draft beer or boxed wine, would be something. As the club is in the downtown area, be sure to factor in the added cost of parking ($15 in my case). Attended the "first taste" night with my wife and ended up staying until close because it was pretty dead and the pool was nice. The second time we attended the glow party and after 2 hours we had each drank 3 beers. When I asked for another round the bartender cut us off stating we were too intoxicated. We waited almost an hour and still refused service. If we could not continue to drink at their party than we wanted to leave so I asked for my bill and the bartender with the beard named Matthew attempted to charge me for 5 beers each! (he was probably going to void the 4 extra beers and pocket the cash) When I disagreed with this the security guard and manager, Dom, told me to pay the bill and leave. I refused to over pay and threatened to call the liquor control board. After the manager texted his boss we were finally allowed our credit card and ID back and told we got our free beers now leave and never return! When I pleaded my story to the owner Richard, he "investigated" and returned my email stating that his staff had told him I was threatening their lives and business with "organized crime" and that he had friends of his own that would deal with such threats! Richard then told me if I ever return they would deal with me "aggressively". I ensured Richard that I made no such threats of any kind and the accusations are absurd and he would probably believe I drive a sleigh led by flying reindeer too. I understand smart serve and the vast regulations involved with running a bar of such nature however the way we were treated was absolutely disgusting and unprofessional. We know our limit and never cause trouble and we have never been kicked out of anywhere before in our lives. I cannot believe the manner in which the situation was handled. Besides that, the club itself is quite run down and in need of drastic renovation. There are poorly patched holes in the drywall and tears in the flooring. The carpeting feels grimy and the surfaces do not get wiped down regularly which could spread disease. Except for the heated pool, I think they would be out of business by now. It is absolutely not worth your money or time. Last but not least, I feel the need to mention what I like to call the "roofie shelf". Alcohol is not permitted on the smoking patio so you are expected to leave your drink on an unmonitored, unattended shelf in a little room before you go outside. Horrible. Beware!! read more

I wish it was my "Nude Cheers." I have a loved one in the hospice dying. Needless to say, Oasis was a lovely place to escape to after all day at the hospital. I am so disappointed.  I had an encounter with Paige, the person at the front desk.  I was attacked because I made a comment about a badge pinned on them reading "THEY/THEM." Then, I was accused of attacking them, which I was not. Paige accused me of being derogatory and unkind, continuing to say I should not be there.  I did not enter.  I offered to leave.  I work in a LQBTQ community in NYC.  People had a lot to say about "they/them."  I said it was a hot topic.  I was immediately chastised because I said other people had a different point of view from Paige. Paige said I was ignorant and I was completely wrong because the world did not have the exact same feelings as them about gender pronouns. Paige then made some strange comparison to Black people. This person has no clue my gender identity, my sexual orientation, my family make up, or where I come from. The reviews I read said Oasis was a great place to relax. I feel like I walked into an ambush of abuse. As a single female, I'm attacked all day long for one reason or another. I always have to stand up for myself, what I believe in, and to be treated fairly. It sucks to walk into an establishment that is supposed to be "friendly to all" and be berated because my voice is somehow less important than someone else's. read more

It was a first time experience at the Aqualounge. Definitely worth the visit. The place is clean. The staff are constantly cleaning. The orientation was professionally presented, rules are explicit, and everything was welcoming. Had a blast! Definitely recommend this place! Will be coming back! Did I mention the place is clean! Unfortunately I need to edit my review. I've heard too many lousy things through the grapevine to feel safe going to this establishment anymore. "My sociopathic ex works there." "They treat sex workers really badly." "I get misgendered by staff all the time." Then the owners started fighting and/or blocking anyone criticizing them on social media. Then they started leaving supportive messages on the social media pages of other businesses with sexual harrassment/abuse allegations, saying victims shouldn't be believed, etc. It's just... nah. It's the only game in town, so here's hoping some enterprising business-person with better ethics opens something up! Previous review below: This is a great place to go for a special occasion or just to relax. Play in the dungeon, enjoy watching others or being watched, or just grab a towel and relax in the sauna, jacuzzi or steam room. The staff are outgoing and polite. The clientele have a reputation for being far less skeezy/inappropriate than most places. Single men must be accompanied by a woman to visit the upper floors; this is to make the space safer for women, though I am not sure what this means for men who come to play together. I guess one of the nearby men-only bathhouses would be more suited to them. I give Oasis 4 stars because I love going to events there, but the flavour is pretty het and vanilla.
