I had been going here for years, was a regular customer. The sister + brother owners were always pleasant & polite - until there were problems. The first time, their seamstress ruined an expensive top. The male owner admitted their error, apologized & compensated me. The second time, their seamstress altered a dress incorrectly. The male owner apologized & said they would try to fix it but their seamstress only made the error worse, after which the male owner denied the error & still expected me to pay. The third time, I took a dress w/ multiple tears in for repair. The seamstress repaired (badly) only one of the tears. The male owner's response was unbelievable: he said it was my fault because I said to repair only 1 tear. There were 3 tears just inches apart from one another. Why would I want only 1 of them repaired?? He said I would have to pay AGAIN to have the other 2 repaired. What??? After this unpleasant discussion w/ him, I handed over a pair of pants for repair & was stunned when he said to me, "Okay, we'll repair it but I don't want any more problems after this, ok?", placing the blame for his seamstress' multiple repair errors on ME, the customer. I was speechless, insulted. You know those situations where someone says something so unbelievable that you're just kind of stunned into silence? Well, this was one of those moments. He had already taken the pants & made the ticket, so I left. Now, I wish I had asked for those pants back because who knows what his seamstress will do this time. I'll pick them up w/ fingers crossed & a prayer, then never return to this dry cleaners again. Three strikes, you're OUT. read more
