Made it in for the grand reopening. It's really a whole new place. New ownership and completely remodeled. They have two bars, lots of TVs, and TouchTunes. It's a full bar with a great selection of whiskeys, 16 taps, and a decent wine selection. They have a great menu with some nice starters, awesome sandwiches, burgers, pizza, and more! I got the Reuben with a Guinness. Very good sandwich. The person on one side of me got Irish nachos and they looked incredible. The two guys on my right got Scotch eggs. I wish I had room because they looked tasty. Yelp should remove the old reviews and even the pictures because this really is a completely new place. Bronson is the fucking man. Got us super quick. Our drinks are great. And the drink were very good.

Pretty average college bar. Gets very crowded at times if you are not in college I would look for a different places to go in the Dayton area. DJ is pretty mediocre and yells at customers sometimes when they aren't dancing. read more

I hate to leave a bad review, but I put two dollars into the dart machine and then when I asked for darts they responded, "Pro tip don't put your money into a machine without the materials..." On top of that they let pets on top of the bar, which is honestly disgusting read more

Only 1 server working so service was a bit slow. Witnessed the boss/owner insult server in front of the whole restaurant. Instead of helping the server he just made matters worse. Server was very sweet to all customers regardless of just being humiliated in front of her tables. We will not be going back. Seeing someone being treated so poorly is not acceptable. I hope she finds a better place to work soon. Hey boss man, you're a total JERK!! Help your staff!! read more

Food quality is average. I'd give it about a 3.5. If you're going to get food, order the chips or pretzels with dip! The dip alone is a 5 star. Drinks are reasonably priced. They have some local craft beers as well as your standard bud light and miller lite. I saw they have white claw if you're looking for something other than beer or liquor! It's a great place to meet up to watch a Dayton basketball game or hang out before the game. If you're in town for a wedding at the chapel, this is a good spot to grab a drink before the reception. It's close to the hotels in the area if you want to walk. One of my favorite bars in Dayton by far! read more

Would rate 0 stars if I could. We've been going to Flanagan's for years, when it was under previous ownership. Came in today and the service was AWFUL. Sat for 20 minutes before anyone welcomed us or gave us a menu, there were maybe 5 other people in the restaurant- it was not busy. Waited over an hour for our food, and orders were wrong and overcooked. The burgers were inedible, buns were burnt and hard, meat tasted off, and fries and tots were overcooked. Waiter never came around to apologize or acknowledge the wait, or even refill our waters after almost 2 hours. We will not be back, save your time and money and go across the street to Smashburger instead. read more

This place is a great "townie" type bar, they have decent drink specials and was recently renovated and it's much nicer inside. The food is decent but nothing to write home about. They do a good job of trying to have Irish dishes on the menu but they're not quite 100% on point with taste or quality over all. That said I've eaten here plenty of times and will again. The fries with curry sauce are a great little snack. What I love most is they have live Irish music every Thursday. It's just like the nightly jams you'd stumble across at a pub in Ireland. I love hearing the traditional songs and just enjoying talented musicians doing something they love. It does become a bit of a "going out" bar on Friday's and Saturday's with spill over from the club next door. It does still attract a great diversity of customers though age wise, which is fun. Definitely swing in if you're looking for a low key pint on a weekday or during the day on the weekend or if you want some great live music in the evenings Thursday - Saturday. read more

As an ex-Brit I recognize a good Irish pub when I see one (having spent 2 yrs in Belfast). Great/friendly service, good beer selection (including on tap), very clean and well appointed facilities, two bars/ attractively decorated, two electronic dart boards(!), a juke box, a patio for alfresco eating in good weather, burgers, sandwiches, platters, soups, pop, salads, munchies, nachos, chicken wings, pizzas, great piped radio music, and a meeting room for groups...what's not to like! read more

Does this place even have food ? I'm not sure but it doesn't matter. Two well equipped bars, with a good happy hour, one of my fondest memories of this bar was during the summer when I had just worked a first shift after working over night in North Dayton. I was driving past and I was very tired, but I saw a sign that said happy hour and free snacks, I thought to my self why not. I walked in, it was me two older gentleman and the bartender. i had a couple of drinks ( dollar wells ! excellent ! ) and made munched on some pizza or nachos or something. It was just very enjoyable to sit there and watch golf. I don't know why, but it was nice, the bartender was friendly and poured a good drink. In recent trips back its pretty obvious that this is a college bar, two well appointed bars a a stage for bands to play on, dart board , and a patio to sit on in cold nights and just enjoy good friends, and fine beer. The place is packed on thursday nights, for drink specials, but its a good atmosphere, and no matter how busy it is you can normally give it a drink. Flanagan's is also one of the best places to be for St. Patrick's day opening at 530am, with green beer, free food, and a tent with bands playing all through the day, not many places in the area do such a good job at really getting into the celebration, if you've never been for St. Patrick's its worth a trip alone. read more

So glad I waited in line for 30 minutes with 2 people in front of me just to wait ANOTHER 30 minutes to waqit at the bar. There's 4 Bartenders on staff yet 3 out of 4 chose to stand against the wall and just stare at me. I genuinely do not know why anyone would ever waste their money here. I've never seen a more poorly trained staff in my life. Come here if you plan on waiting to order 1 drink for 45 minutes when it's not even busy. read more

Flanagans used to be a fun bar with great service and a fun atmosphere. It is now waiting for 20 minutes on one beer. Went from a good college bar to a slow service casual bar. Although the establishment looks nice it is not a bar to have a good time at. read more

Waited outside for a hour and a half while the security guard let's all college students into the bar that just showed up. This bar doesn't follow any moral standards. The manager apparently has the authority to let anyone in regardless of the time that the customers waited. Very disappointed after the new remodel of the restaurant. read more

This is an awesome bar to watch the game! It has a real classic look with the wood paneling and neon signs but has modern necessities like lots of flat screen TVs! It gets pretty busy after Flyers home games but you can still get served promptly. Their bacon cheese fries and boneless wings are perfect. Great pitcher specials, too. Clean ladies restroom!! This place is great... it brings me back to my times at UD... but oh well... I just recently experienced their food... and while it was only a turkey sandwich... i have to say it was worth every penny (which wasn't that much)... I also love how this place has not one- but two very nice bars... and a nice sized stage for local bands to play on... I have been here for a variety of fundraisers (FOP, IAFF etc etc)... all of which have been a lot of fun... and for the last 2 years i have made Flanagan's Pub my first (and usually only) stop on St. Patrick's Day (its the place to be on March 17)... with a HUGE tent and bands playing... and of course, green beer flowing... read more

Great place to catch a UD game, pizza and beers. Lots of UD atmosphere here. This place is pretty big and gets crowded on weekends. You get a good cross-section of students and regular folks here. read more

I had a horrible first experience here. I was sitting down enjoying a college basketball game when all of a sudden a bartender came up to me and kicked me out for no reason. On top of that embarrassment the bartender was rude to my friend who had gave flanagans his credit card and they stated he lost it and it was his fault. The workers then found his credit card and didn't even apologize for misplacing it. Then the cherry on top of the disaster that is Flanagans Pub was a worker offered to give us a ride to another bar since they closed early and as soon as we were about to get in lammed the door and sped off. 10/10 would not recommend this place to anyone especially families. read more

Arrived at 11:45 on Saturday game day. Dayton basketball game was at 2 pm. There was 12 of us and we ordered our food and it arrived at 1:20 and they last plate was delivered at 1:30. One bartender two servers and one fn cook are u kidding me for a restaurant that was packed. The cook obviously made easy orders first ordered 45 minutes after our group.
