Shante continues to repeat the same thing every time I talk to her even when video was shown to the store manager of me knocking on the visible frame. Over a month of going back and forth, even with purchasing a warranty, Shante calls today to tell me they will give me a credit this one time even though "nothing is really wrong with it". Shante has to be the rudest person I've ever had to deal with when it comes to a purchase. She doesn't listen to a word you say and keeps repeating what she feels over and over. If you are looking to spend your hard earned money on new furniture- do not shop at Lake Effect. Absolutely garbage furniture with a warranty you pay for that they give you nothing but a hard time honoring. I've declined any credit from this store and will continue to share my experience so others are not taken advantage of. Sadly after posting this to Facebook, I have learned both individuals and businesses have had the same issues when it came to putting in a claim. Seems to just be the way they treat all customers.

I have been coming to this location only since my new pool was installed in 2024. I can't thank them enough for their dedication to all things pools and hot tubs. Their selection is vast and the value or price of their goods and services are average for the area. What I do like is the fact they gif military veterans with a valid military ID a discount. Thank you so much for taking care of the veterans. I am grateful for it.

First, we had to ask a young lady, ignoring us, on her computer, for help. That young lady attending to us couldn't answer many questions about operating the umbrella. While attempting to help in our purchase, she walked away to ask another customer what they needed -and never returned! Every other salesperson was busy. Then that same young lady that was attending to us, we saw her with a third customer. Why hadn't she come back to complete the sale? We had limited time before another appointment and had already visited the Gary's location nearest to our home (sales rep there said he knew nothing about umbrellas). We drove to this location for the larger selection, fulling intending to purchase, at the very least, an umbrella. $450 - NOT SPENT! Will we go back? Should we? Would there be any sales people to help us spend our hard earned cash? What's wrong with a company that has great inventory but refuses to train it's sales staff? I had a little spare time while passing by again today, and pulled in. I was immediately greeted by Riley, a good natured Golden Retriever with a tail on non-stop wag mode. Passing through the door, I was also hailed by Dan Curtis, who owns the shop with his wife, Julie. Dan warmly welcomed me right away. For a small, cozy shop in someone's home, it is PACKED full of lovely things; handmade candles, birdhouses, decorative hand painted signs, antiqued furniture, floral arrangements, tea, etc. And even though the sheer amount of goods was a little staggering, there was definitely order to it. I was immediately charmed. While I browsed, Dan chatted with me and another customer perusing the shelves. "95% of the things you see in the shop are made right here by my bride," he informed me. "There's nothing she can't do." Looking around, it was hard not to be impressed. A few minutes later, Julie came out, and like her husband, I found her very gracious and welcoming. She was happy to chat with us. For handmade things, I was surprised to see that the prices really weren't as high as I expected them to be. I picked out three wall accents, and I think I spent less than forty bucks. Not bad. I could have bought more (and wanted to) but my budget wouldn't allow it. This place is awesome, and I love love love supporting a local business, especially one run by such friendly people. I'll definitely be back - they have great gifts! Oh, and a tip - if you can't make it in during normal hours, you can make an appointment. And if you swing by off hours (within reason, obviously) and Dan happens to be in the shop, he'll open it up for you. Yay for a great locally owned shop! (PS. So I looked up a local nursery near West Seneca and found Northridge nursery. I'm so glad I came here! Their herbs were so much bigger and healthy looking. I got 2 Basil, 2 cilantro, 1 parsley, 1 oregano, 1 chives and 1 dill - all 5 dollars each. They also had a better deal on putting soil than Home Depot did. I have a really nice greenhouse and a wide variety of flowers and shrubs. Will definitely be coming back here!

I placed a pickup order using multiple coupons. They tried filling it over 24 hours later and said they couldn't because it wasn't in stock. I went to the store and the display was full. I went to customer service and they would not fill my order because the coupon was now expired. I find this ridiculous. They waited 24 + hours to stock my order and tell me it was out of stock, so obviously I can't use my coupon that was good for one day anymore. Horrible value. I'm convinced they didn't feel like searching through their mess for the size or knew the coupon was now expired and wanted full price.

He came to our house we talked, we dropped our dream decided to just replace everything where it is. The only real change was removing the boxed in jetted tub and installing a free standing tub. The plumbing would only need treaking. The shower was staying where it was! He suggested opening up our door to make it ADA compliant, putting up,a barn door on the bedroom side. I asked how much that would cost he said don't worry I'll give allowances for all of it , He suggested making the shower,bigger by bumping it into our spare bedroom,. And there is more but , time. As he left he asked what we were thinking , I said under $30, 000 like you said, he called and said $40,000 !! I again asked if we could do demo, get our own faucets, vanity, tiles to keep cost down. He was very honest , I admire that! He said basically We send you to places we deal with because we trust the products, I understand that. But he also said you pick a faucet for $250 we mark it up to $450 ?? That is a big mark up. At that point he said he is not the guy for my job!!
