This store is horrible. It's a mess inside. You can't walk through the aisles pushing a cart. Additionally, they cancel pickup orders for being "out of stock", when they have tons of the product in store. I placed a pickup order using multiple coupons. They tried filling it over 24 hours later and said they couldn't because it wasn't in stock. I went to the store and the display was full. I went to customer service and they would not fill my order because the coupon was now expired. I find this ridiculous. They waited 24 + hours to stock my order and tell me it was out of stock, so obviously I can't use my coupon that was good for one day anymore. Horrible value. I'm convinced they didn't feel like searching through their mess for the size or knew the coupon was now expired and wanted full price. read more

I came across a real nice store mgr named Amy. She was kind enough to help me go through several departments to find a similar item... Getting into the parking lot here isn't an issue. But good luck leaving to get back onto transit. Especially if you want to turn left. The khols itself is decent. The staff doesn't really seem like they want to be there most of the time but they do get the job done...everything is stocked and I appreciate the ability to take my Amazon returns there and get a coupon for shopping at khols. They changed this now in 2 different spots .i found one I liked and decided to look at the Vera Wang purses on the way out! We'll I got me one. I stopped here to browse dresses for a wedding in November. I walked around the store twice and realized there weren't any dresses to be found. There is more than enough athletic wear, but barely any business clothing. I get that people still aren't completely back in the office, but some people are and would like those options. Also I tried some things on in the fitting room and it was pretty disgusting. There were dust bunnies everywhere and it was extremely unclean. Inwont be returning to this location anytime soon. read more

I stopped into Kohls on Transit Road because I needed a pair of new sneakers. I had some Kohls cash & I am not going to pay $90 for a pair of sneakers. When I got over to the Shoe Dept, my eyes almost popped out due to a Clearance Sale of 50% off. Then the Shoe Dept Guy (so nice) told me the price was 50% off the 50% clearance !! I found some great Converse, Adidas, Sonoma sneakers in my size 9 & was VERY happy. I also bought a pair of hiking boots. I took my time & looked thru Merch in the aisle & in the rows of shoes. IT WAS SO WORTH IT! Of course as a shopper for "years", it didn't bother me that aisles were messy cause people were trying lots of shoes on. Then a Shoe Dept woman helped remove a sensor cause it was in the way of tying the sneaker. At check out, Timothy was smiling & friendly. I used my $20 Kohls Cash & paid ONLY $108 for 5 pair of sneakers/boots & socks! Timothy & I chatted while he checked me out. We are both cancer survivors! He removed the sensors from the sneakers/boots and I SKIPPED ALL THE WAY TO MY CAR....& I'M 70!! I saved: $366.51!! Run don't walk for this amazing sale! Thank you Kohls! read more

I do honestly like this store, but my review is based on a few factors: If you have an amazon and a kohl's return, you have to wait in 2 separate lines to complete both returns. This is not good customer service. They always appear to be short staffed. I can understand a long line to cash out with needing to be 6 ft. apart but it shouldn't take half an hour to cash out. Some of the managers seem like they're on a management power trip. Not just to the employees, but towards the customers as well. Manager got snippy with me over a misunderstanding. Employees degrade each other in front of customers.Won't go into specifics, but mocking and degrading your employees is uncalled for. read more

I was leaving the Kohl's store on Transit Road in Depew when I noticed a dog in a hot car going nuts. Windows were all up, car was in the sun and it was over 85 degrees. I immediately went back into the store and asked an associate if she could use the loudspeaker to summon the owner. She said there's nothing she could do. I then asked for the manager. He gave me the same story. I guess he was more worried about loosing an ignorant customer than a dog dying in a hot car. While I ignored his nonsense, I was on the phone with 911 and on my way out the door. The owner then comes out and I told him his dog is going nuts and he immediately starts dropping F bombs. Is everybody going crazy? It was Kohl's parking lot and they're not responsible for what goes on out there but they have surveillance cameras??? I am steaming mad. I will never go into another Kohl's store again. I didn't want to give it one star but had no choice. Both Kohls and the owner should be charged with animal cruelty. Unbelievable! read more

I went into this store to return a kohl's item, pick up an order and do an amazon return. I waited a huge line at customers service for first two transactions. I was then told to go to amazon desk to do my other which I expected. Then after searching for amazon desk I find a sign that says go to customer service. After returning to customer service I expected to wait in the line again to do my return. I received no apology and worker I spoke with made no effort to correct the situation. I will not be returning. I am glad amazon now uses ups stores for return as well because their process is way more streamlined. read more

I love Kohl's, it's the only place I buy clothes. I'm an 8 tall and it's nearly impossible to find tall sizes that fit me at most places. For some reason if you're tall, most companies assume you're fat too. I rarely see talls under size 16. And their prices are very cheap, sometimes I wonder how they make much profit. I bought a necklace online and had to return it. I was told if I didn't receive my refund within 10 days to call corporate. I did and was on hold for a long period of time. Finally spoke to someone and he said I should receive my refund within 10 days. It's been over a month and I still haven't received a check from them. I'm going to call my credit card and see if they can settle this. Tired of waiting. Won't be shopping there in the future. Finally after 2 months of waiting I did receive reimbursement for the necklace. However, I had turned in a memory foam pillow and only received a $9.00 return on my credit card and was given $40.00 in Kohl's cash which I used for that necklace. Old King Kohl's! I cant say enough about Kohls' Department Store! Did they find alot of cloths from the 70s in a warehouse? Those patterns! Last time I saw colors like those my kids' had the stomach flu! They have cloths for men, cloths for women, clots for kids', and everything in between. The best part of all is getting a huge pile of cloths and taking them into the dressing room. I could spend all day in there. In fact, I have! Bring a snack. Whenever I need shoes, clothes for my son or cosmetics, I stop here first. When they first came to town, they mailed out not just one but two separate mailings of $10 coupons on a ten dollar purchase, no restrictions, just to get us in the door. They often run a sale for every $50 you spend you get a free $10 gift certificate for a future purchase. The staff is very good, even the day after Thanksgiving. The place is always neat and clean with a selection for every budget. Huge parking lot. Well worth a visit. read more

Why does Kohl's hate me and other people with more than one kid?!?!? Their carts only fit one kid that is one or older. I have a 4 month old and their carts don't fit car seats. Kohl's is my favorite store to shop at. They have everything; clothing, jackets, lingerie, shoes, housewares, bedding, drapes, and novelty items. They always have really good sales and if you use your 10, 20, or 30 % off coupons, you get your merchandise for practically nothing! Most of the time they offer Kohl's cash which is $10.00 for every $50.00 you spend in one shopping visit. Today I received $20.00 in Kohl's cash. Yippie! Today was the grand opening of a few of their stores after some renovations. They had lots of sales and I had a 30% off coupon. I saved a total of $155.00! This is why I love Kohl's. The lines for the registers were crazy long today, wrapping around the whole store with employees directing people where to stand. I almost left because I didn't want to wait, but it wasn't bad. The lines moved fast and I was out of there in 25 minutes. read more

DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DEPEW LOCATION!! This particular Kohl's sold me an empty box (Apple Earbuds) and wouldn't do anything about it. On my way home at one of the streetlights I opened the package only to find out that it was empty. Disgusted, I quickly drove back to the store looking for them to make this right. They said they can't accept the return/exchange, but would take my information down and have their Loss Prevention Team call me back. And of course they didn't even have the decency to call me back. Before I left, I even made her repeat my info to make sure they had the correct phone number. They are acting like they are the victim. I'm the victim! It's not my fault you have employee/customer theft rampant within your store. Luckily, I called corporate customer service and they took care of it right away. Lesson learned - unless it's a gift, never leave the store without opening the box to check the contents. Especially if it's an item like this that is easy to steal / highly sought after. I promise you, I will never do business with this location again. My suggestion - take your business to the East Amherst location a little further down Transit Rd if possible.
