If you don't have a receipt, you cannot get store credit, even if tags are still on the item. If you have a receipt but removed the tags, your return will also be refused. At least that's what the store manager told me last year. Corporate says I had a valid return, but the associate kept staring at me talking about thieves and refused my return. read more

Large Eddie Bauer. Could be new to the mall, I've never noticed it before. Lower level and probably 3 store spaces. It's big. They have tons of stock. Everything you would expect for the outdoorsman you want to be, or maybe already are. I found a terrific fall shirt for a man here, because eventually fall will arrive this year. I usually shop their outlet stores but didn't find the prices too bad. 42/R-a-D Challenge read more

There are so many places one can go and get clothes, but for some reason, I find myself back here each time--and online as well. Tried and true and made with amazing fabrics, the quality is supreme and love the styles they have. I feel like they used to be sort of fuddy duddy, but not anymore. Great store, this one in Buffalo. The place was spotless, very large, and just brimming with merchandise and sales alike. Lots of staff there to help you as well. Left with some great sweaters for the cold weather and will always be a patron of Eddie Bauer. read more

This location has THE MOST AMAZING sales staff I have ever encountered shopping retail! They are attentive, helpful and really know their merchandise. You feel like they have your best interest in mind, and find great pieces without being pushy! You can ask them anything, and leave with the most positive "personal shopper" and VIP treatment!!! The space is SPOTLESS, well stocked and organized. The dressing rooms are spacious and comfortable. I have been back to this hidden gem of a shop, and leave with a shopping spree with NO REGRETS. I always leave with positive vibes and amazing gear! Its a secret gem during these times :) Because I did not expect to purchase winter gear on site that would be impossible to pack and travel with back home, the cashier offered to ship to my home in NYC, and I received everything swiftly, and packed amazingly! They really went above and beyond to the very end!!! :) Thank you Cecily for all your help, suggestions and attention! AND JUST WHEN I THOUGHT IT COULDN'T GET ANY BETTER.... IT DID!!! I returned the next day with a friend to exchange a shell I grabbed for them last minute for them to take to Niagara falls that ended up being too big before we went. Luckily, I called in advance to see if they could hold the right size- and Cecily again was non-pulsed and saved the day! She was not there later that afternoon, but a gentleman named Kylie was there and of course it all worked out. Well, he was great as well and my male friend ended up buying loads of gear as well in store and is very happy with every purchase. Yes, we were a bit needy, and all over the place by taking our time being picky and then needing to rush out to meet our ride, but the customer service here handled it with grace, understanding and professional hospitality. (If they see this- many thanks again, you are all SO awesome and we love our new wardrobe additions, that would not be as grand and fab without your help and knowledge!!! ) read more

The store is very "boutique" in style and carries young women's clothing, shoes and accessories. I would say the target age for this store is 18-25, but even someone my age loved their clothing as well (I am 39 for reference). The style is very soft and feminine. Much of the color palettes is currently pastels and soft nudes. There was even a small bridal section. The price point was extremely affordable - and even more so with all of the sales racks; which by the way were extremely neat and organized! Just as much as the full-priced racks! Above all, I found the store extremely aesthetically pleasing. Everything was easy to see and look through and very organized by color and style. FYI, I did not notice any plus sized clothing if this is your size. As I write this, I quickly popped on their website and only noticed 3 plus sized tops on clearance. I am not Plus-sized, but I am curvy, and peaking at the clothing I think there are many items that were better suited for small frames in general. This brings me back to the younger target age range, again. Overall, the clothing is cute and affordable and worth stopping in for you or as a gift for that girly girl in your life.

We arrived at the Lafayette right when they opened and moving around was just fine. Later on it became very busy and getting from one room to the other was not that easy. We took the shuttle bus to get to the second venue. There was more room there, no narrow corridors. There are lots of vendors so you have a lot of options to find some special Christmas presents. Compared to last year, the number of tasting places was limited. There were several local gin and bourbon tasters, several wineries but the local beers were missing.

This is a crowded event, 6 hours only, does have a small entry fee and is totally worth that fee. Fantastic gathering of the best in the area.
