    I bought a one piece vinyl floor for my kitchen in 2018. It was supposed to be a lifetime…read moreguarantee. That's what it said and it's shot now. It has dents from my not so heavy chairs. I called them and it's my fault because I didn't stick those pads on the bottom of the legs of the chairs. I've never had to use them before and should not be mandatory. Besides that, there are other dents from dropping things which shouldn't happen! I called and told the guy I'd like to speak to higher management and this other guy claimed to be the CEO! Like I believed that! Needless to say nothing was done and I have to look for a new kitchen floor and I'm definitely staying away from CFO!

If I could give 0 stars I would, just because I think people should know how pathetic this experience was. I spoke to Mariann on the phone and she seemed perfectly friendly. We scheduled an appointment for her to come out and give us a quote a couple days later. When she came, she quickly did measurements and asked us to help, which we were more than happy to do. When it was time for her to do her calculations, we let her be and were quiet and polite. When she finally gave us a quote, we responded saying that the number was quite pricey and that we'd be getting other quotes. This is where things really took a turn. Mariann rolled her eyes, huffed at us, and said that her coming out to that house (which was just minutes from her office) was a waste of her time "not to make a sale." That automatically made me uncomfortable and annoyed, particularly because it's rather normal for a consumer to get multiple quotes on an investment of that amount. I let her know that we'd get back to her within a day or so, to which Mariann responded by rolling her eyes again, then apologizing, then rolling her eyes yet again and saying "her blood sugar was low." Then she apologized, THEN said it was too hot in the house (which is being renovated and doesn't yet have central air) and continued to insult us. You'd think that we were awful humans who'd waterboarded her by the way she spoke to us. When she left, I wished her a good day but kindly mentioned that I'd be speaking to her manager for feedback. She was walking out of the door when I said that, and she came back in the house and said "I AM the manager." She then slammed the door and sped away. Overall, the experience was more than bad, it was demeaning and infuriating. I wouldn't recommend this company -- particularly this location -- to my worst enemy. And I sure would never recommend anyone working with Mariann.

    I just had an excellent customer service experience. My mom purchased two identical rectangular…read morepillows from Room, both stenciled with the word "Buffalo" and the coordinates of the city (latitude and longitude). She gave one pillow to my dad and the other to me as Christmas gifts. Shortly thereafter, we discovered that the paint used to stencil the letters and numbers on the pillow was water soluble and wiped off with a damp paper towel. It would have been impossible to wash or even spot clean the front of the pillow case without also removing the stenciling. Today, well beyond the 14-day return policy stated on the receipt, my mom and I brought the pillows back to the store to see if there was anything we could do to protect the paint on the front of the pillow case (Scotchgard wasn't going to cut it). As soon as we walked through the door, we were greeted by an associate. We briefly explained our concern to the associate, and then without even batting an eye or even checking our receipt he apologized, stated that he was unaware of this issue, and immediately offered to exchange the pillows for other merchandise. We ended up selecting different Buffalo-themed pillows. Room offers beautiful contemporary furniture and home decor, and after spending time looking around the store and observing the quality of their merchandise, it's obvious that the faulty pillows were an anomaly and in no way typical of the products sold by Room. My mom and I were both impressed with this customer service experience and appreciate the attention we received.
