I completely understand wanting to clean up and get ready to go home after a shift, but if your business advertises that you're open until 11:00 PM, customers shouldn't feel like they're inconveniencing an employee for ordering at 10:30. At the very least, employees should still be prepared to scoop an ice cream or two until the actual closing time. Honestly, I've had the ice cream twice now. My girlfriend really likes it, but personally, I think it's pretty average. My biggest issue, though, was the customer service and how uncomfortable and rushed the employee made me feel. Came here for dessert based on a recommendation from our dinner server and we were so disappointed. The selection of ice cream is good and the flavors were fine but the man behind the counter was so incredibly rude that it ruined our experience. He rushed us to make a flavor selection and made us feel like we were bothering him by trying to buy some ice cream. Also a warning, my husband's ice cream was so soft that it turned to soup outside before he could get halfway through his cone. We stopped in on a hot Saturday evening and despite a big crowd were quickly served. We tried vanilla, English custard and guava and loved them all. The texture and flavors were great and the selections were unique with options like passion fruit and Mamey to go along with the usual favorites. Fun little shop tucked right on a corner with lots of street parking for easy access! The shop is relatively small, but there is some outdoor seating and the bright colors make it very inviting. They probably have 20-25 different flavors to choose from and today I tried the Amaretto and the English Custard. The chocolate was out-of-this-world good (and rich!) and the English Custard was really nice and creamy and tasted a bit like horchata to me (which definitely isn't a problem)! Great spot for homemade ice cream and you get to sit down on picnic bench's to enjoy your treat. The selection of ice cream is pretty good too. There's plenty of fruit flavors and some chocolate as well Irish cream or pina colada with rum. I decided to try the pina colada with rum because I got the pineapple taste with rum. There was one guy working and he had a steady stream of business and was friendly. I wanted 2 flavors but really didn't want 2 scoops so I opted for Coconut with hot fudge. My boyfriend got Butter Pecan. The hot fudge was very good. Both flavors had ice crystals in them which is a turnoff for me when it comes to ice cream. The Coconut was also a little bland.
