To put this into perspective, I usually only have this dessert when I'm home in Vietnam. The line is pretty long as it seems desserts are very popular in the late evening. We arrived at 11:30 PM and this dessert joint including the one across the street had a pretty long line. The menu is very fruity -- lots of mango, dragon fruit, honeydew and other goodies. Located a stone's throw away from the Temple Street Night Market (#2), this tiny shop sits on the literal corner of Shanghai St and Jordan Rd and is way too easy to miss. One of the ways they're trying to attract people as with an absurd special that is one of the most affordable deals in Hong Kong: two drinks for $20 HKD/$30 HKD. The former is for brown sugar milk tea and the latter is for lemon tea. While neither tea is life-changing, it is a deal that cannot be ignored. The drinks are sizable and plenty sweet. The brown sugar milk tea feels a bit watered down and the lemon has a substantial amount of ice that messes with the ratio of the tea. Their main claim to fame is pairing sweet potatoes to their lineup of drinks. The sweet potatoes come in various portions starting from $25HKD-$40HKD along with other snack options such as cheese filled sausages / hot dogs, puddings, pancakes, and salad wraps. Customer service was friendly overall and they were quick to get orders out. I did come with high expectation and was not disappointed. I really enjoy my Flat White with awesome latte art. Love the silkiness of the frothed milk. One of the better ones I have in Hong Kong. Americano though was meh. It was not on the menu but they were nice enough to prepare that for me. If you prefer black coffee, I would stick with pour over or their filter coffee. The shop itself is simple and quite small. There is no seating area so it is more like a standing bar set up where you just drink your coffee and go. But I highly recommend you order one to stay as they are serve from this beautiful glassware which enhanced the experience. Pour over though quite pricey at $70 but it is enough and set up to share. This is the signature drink as that showcase the skill of Dawn.

Just like any other chain bakeries, goods are very consistent in terms of appearance and quality. And they are not shy of bringing new and seasonal items to the market, well that apply to their cakes and pastries only. More works need to be done on their breads and baked goods, too few selections and little innovations.
