You can find the shops in Hong Kong but the prices are more expensive than getting it direct from Macau. There are multiple stores in Macau and from what I could tell, the prices were the same even if you were closer to the ferry. There are boxes of cookie, jerky, etc samples throughout the store and the employees are typically a little pushy to get you in and looking around. I think it's because that's half the battle. Once you're in and you try a sample, you'll walk out with full yellow bags of goodies! Highly recommend: Walnut and peanut brittle which was very light and crunchy vs the American version that feels like you're going to break your teeth! At $15 USD for a generous size box and gorgeous packaging, it was a great souvenir. We got packaged jerky instead of the fresh jerky that you can buy by the pound. The employee said it was the same but the packaged ones come in little 2" sealed chunks. Instructions say to heat it up prior to eating which resulted in a smoky microwave and super hot napalm covered jerky. Pineapple cakes: get the big box. Tender and almost crumbly cake / cookie outside and pineapple filling; you can see the chunks of fruit! Absolute perfection. Shortbread cookies: comes in multiple flavors. My son loved the chocolate chip the best. Some of the packaging at Kee Wah looks similar to Koi Kei but they are not the same. Both are good but Koi Kei is top notch. Can't wait to visit again!

There are no seats to eat inside the market but feel free to bring all your goods upstairs to the food court where you can enjoy them instead. There are sections for Japanese snacks, wine, and other imported products for those who want something different. If you enjoy tofu in general, you must try this place. You can probably guess based on the name that they make all their tofu products, including soybean milk which is also very popular. Fun fact! I have lived in Sham Shui Po until I was about 10 years old. Kung Wo is about 5 minute walk from our old apartment and I have no recollection of ever having the tofu here. It's my older sister's favorite tofu place so we had to stop by to grab a bowl of good old hot tofu, which is like a dessert. Be aware the dining area is small and cramped. You will likely have to sit next to a stranger in close proximity. It is street food style and casual dining. Folks order, eat and go! The tofu without a doubt was smooth, silky and fresh. I'm not a huge fan but my sister really enjoyed it. I was feeling something savory and got a mix plate of Cheung Fun (rice noodle rolls), fish balls, and fish shui mai. It was alright. Average - nothing mind blowing. Nevertheless, places like this is what makes Hong Kong - Hong Kong! Cash only

It's a Bib Gourmand so we thought it would be busy but it was pretty empty on a Saturday morning. There appears to be two storefronts but only one has actual tables and chairs to dine-in. I didn't look too hard at the other but it seems like take-out. Once seated, there's a ton of paper menus to mark down your order. We handed it off to the workers and the food came out in less than 5 minutes. So fast! Tofu Pudding: Choose either hot or cold, sugar or sugar-free. We ordered one to share so we couldn't stuff ourselves and it was just the right amount. Super silky! Maybe it's just me but if we each had our own, I would've gotten tired of the texture real fast. The sugar version wasn't that sweet too and we ended up adding the orange/yellow sugar, which is provided at each table. Mix Deep Fried (6 pieces): If you want to try a bit of everything, you can order this sampler of various deep fried snacks. It comes with two pieces each of deep fried tofu, tofu puffs, and golden fish and soya cakes. Pretty good snack but it's made a little better with the various sauces at the table. It's not like crispy, deep fried but a little soggy already. Overall, not bad but it didn't stand out for me. If you're in the area, it's worth trying it out once but I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way. Cash only!

The selection here is smaller than the ubiquitous locations in Macau which you find in just about every street near the Ruins of St. Paul's. Unlike in Macau, they don't offer Portuguese egg tarts here unfortunately. Store is too small I guess. However, they do have a nice selection of snack cakes and desserts. They come prepackaged so they are perfect as souvenir gifts from your trip. What I like about Koi Kei is that you can sample the product. They have boxes of each item that you can try out before you buy. I bought a couple things from here and I liked them both. The phoenix egg rolls are nice and crispy, but the key ingredient are the coconuts shavings inside. Though beware this product does not travel so well. The package I brought back was mostly intact, but there were a few egg roll pieces that were crumbled up. I would also recommend the orange peel cake that they have here. It is not for everyone, but I really like how fragrant it is and the texture of the pastry. It is nice to know that you don't have to make the trek across the water to Macau to get these delights. They will offer you free sample to try, and there you can tell the difference between their products and others' - strong flavour but not overly sweet or salty. For expats, here is some good news. All products are labelled in their English translation too. I'd never know 腐乳 is preserved bean curd, but here you go. They have almost every local snack you can name, 話梅、陳皮、冬薑、焗蓮子、山楂餅、加應子 (hey, come to the shop and look for the translation yourself...), but also flower flavoured tea bags. Extra bonus if you want to post the snack aboard - they can advise you which snack you can import to US and which you cannot. Very handy advice as I had absolutely zero ideas.
