Lamb kabob over fries
Imrus S.

A "hole in the wall" establishment that is truly a hidden gem. The restaurant is barely visible from the outside. Your GPS will say - "you have arrived" but you'll still be rubbernecking like a meerkat looking for the entrance to the plaza (if you can call it that). Service : Service or ambiance isn't what you should look forward to - it's the food here that reigns supreme! Food : Boy do they know how to make a good gyro over rice. Having frequented Halal carts in NYC, I can tell you their gyro platter is on par (if not better) than NY! The white sauce and the rice took me back the original Halal Guys stand in Manhattan. I had a feeling the owner was from there and when I talked to him, I was proven right. He moved from NY and brought that gyro over rice recipe with him to ATL. This is one of my favorite places to eat in ATL! I recommend getting the mixed gyro over rice with extra white sauce. It's addicting.

Greed and lamb gyro

Fantastic establishment with the kindest owners. First time here and they made me feel like a regular. I ordered a beef and lamb gyro with fries and I have to say the owner was right this was the tastiest gyro I ever had. Sautéed peppers and onions, loaded with tasty meat and seasoned to perfection, I will be back!!!

Half eaten lamb already Bc it was so good!

Phenomenal. Great tasting little hole in the wall and I mean literal hole in the wall. It doesn't even have a store sign. The place inside looks very bare and not much to be expected. Ordered lamb platter and beef chicken gyro. The order got mixed up and beef chicken platter came out instead. Happy accidents. I was completely pleased with the platter The rice is fragrant and perfectly cooked. It wasn't over dry or anything. Seasoned very well for both lamb and beef and chicken. The white sauce added a nice light and refreshing contrast to the meats. The salad was fresh with the same white sauce drizzle. Overall experience was a 5/5. Love it. Give it a try regardless how shady the place can look. Lol Will be repeat customer.

We order here at least 3 times a week! The name of the business on Google is Baba wings and platters. The name is the same on the storefront. The veggie platter has tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions over a bed of fragrant rice. It's covered in white sauce and sumac. There's also a salad. The lamb platter is delicious! It's the best dish! The space is clean. The staff is friendly.

Very very very delicious! I'm a picky foodie and I always will find a gripe on what a place could have done better. This place? Absolutely nothing! The food is delicious and authentic and best of halal. Do not even bother going to Halal guys, like seriously We got the chicken shawarma platter it has the right amount of rice, chicken, salad, and best of all dressing/sauce. Will definitely be ordering here monthly!

We have been looking for a good halal spot for awhile.... THIS IS THE SPOT! Hubs is big on Halal being from NY, he said this is definitely NY halal. This will be a usual for us now!! LOVED IT, I already want some more!

Great food great people favorite restaurant by far and its halal could not get any better than this

On the left, regular chicken, Shawarma plate. On the right, chicken Shawarma with side salad. We are definitely going to visit again!

We enjoyed our food! There was not much of a wait because we called in. The ambiance was nothing special but the food was delicious!!

I've been here multiple times. Wings are amazing and the rice with lamb mix is a great option.

The food here is incredible! It tastes home cooked and if you call to order for takeout it only takes about 15 minutes! Highly recommend!

I noticed that ownership had changed so I hoped that the menu hadn't.... then there it was the Cheeeezy for $8.99 so I ordered it and added the regular fries and drink for an additional $4.99. So with tax and tip it was $18! Burger, fries and a soda sad just sad. Anyhoo I very seldom ever get a burger unless at Village burger or Culvers. The fries here are hand cut but mine were over done and when my Cheeeezy was set before me my heart sank bc it didn't look like I remembered. The cheese wasn't dripping all throughout the meat but the bun was still upside down and nicely toasted. The first bite brought back the memory of the deliciousness I have been missing for 6 years. I got mayo and grilled onions on it along with Chipotle mayo to dip my fries in. Also my Barqs rootbeer was crisp and tasty. I'm not a soda drinker more of a water kinda gal but I do splurge on occasion. This was worth the splurge. While eating I noticed the health report posted on the wall as you exit and the score was 84 B, upon further inspection the 2 previous scores were 94 and 100 .... so definitely headed in the wrong direction. I didn't take the time to actually read the report bc the place looked clean to me and if there was mold on the soda nozzles (common occurrence with several points taken off for it) I didn't want to know so I finished my burger left most of the fries and it will probably be quite sometime before I'm back this way. They were doing a steady to go business but only 6 other people dining in besides myself.

The guy working the register is not really helpful and I think it may be because he doesn't speak english that well and tries to hide it. I asked if my bun could be toasted well and if the burger can be cut in half and he didn't add anything on the register, then when I stared at him waiting for him to add it, he dismissively turned to the cook and said "bun". When I got the burger, the bun wasn't really toasted and it wasn't cut in half, so I sent it back. The cook was very nice about it and brought it back out with no issues. The burger was good, but all of the food was really greasy. While eating the burger, grease began to drip down my hand and the fries/onion rings still looked wet. I ate this for dinner and woke up with the absolute worst headache that lingered for 3 days... Also, just a heads up that it is a la carte, so the drink and sides were an additional cost. The impossible was an upcharge, they don't sell small drinks, then the fronion rings all came to be about $20, which was pretty expensive. The location is tucked in a Kroger parking lot and wasn't busy when I went, which was later in the evening. The inside was very clean, nice and organized. It was also quiet inside, which I liked. Overall, I probably won't come back here because of the headache it gave me, but the burger was decent

I learned an important lesson today: sometimes you should trust your first lunch instinct…read more A coworker suggested Greek, and my mind immediately went to Adriatic Grill. Instead, we decided to try somewhere new and headed to Pita Corner in Lawrenceville. I ordered the beef shawarma with falafel. Let's start with the positives. The restaurant was clean, the dining area was well kept, and the restroom was spotless. It looked like it had just been cleaned, which I always appreciate. Now for the food. The beef shawarma had decent flavor, but it was so dry that every bite felt like a workout. The meat clung to the roof of my mouth and my teeth like it had signed a lease there. No amount of chewing seemed to improve the experience. Texture matters just as much as seasoning, and unfortunately, this missed the mark. The falafel ended up being the highlight of the meal. It was flavorful, had a nice texture, and was easily the best thing on the plate. I always like giving new places a chance, but this one just wasn't for me. While I appreciated the cleanliness and friendly environment, the food simply didn't leave me wanting to come back. If you'd like, I can also make it a little sharper and funnier for Yelp while still keeping it professional and believable.
