I was there last weekend & the food , service and music was all good and remind me of old time back home!

It was one of those rare Saturday nights when my wife and I didn't have any plans for the evening. It had been a while since we had been to Flame International. We already knew it was a happening place, we had celebrated our son's birthday there. So we decided to get a group together and spend the evening enjoying music, drinks, and food at FI. WOW! I had forgotten just how amazing this place is. From the moment we arrived, the energy was incredible. The owner, who is always present and keeps an eye on every detail, greeted us like royalty. Before we knew it, appetizers started appearing on our table as if they had come out of nowhere. The eggplant dish was absolutely out of this world. Then came the drinks. Amir, the young man behind the bar, wasn't just a bartender, he was better than ten bartenders put together! We ordered six different drinks, and every single one was made to perfection. The DJ had the crowd on their feet, and then the live band came on. Watching a great live band perform is an experience that should be cherished. And just when we thought the evening couldn't get any better, the singer came on and took the energy to another level. Of course, we couldn't forget the food. I ordered the fish with sabzi rice. The only thing it needed was a few drops of fresh lemon juice, and it was amazing. Naturally, I had to taste my wife's chicken kabob. It was better than "finger-licking good!" My friend, who is a true carnivore, ordered the shish kabob. I normally don't gravitate toward red meat, but I think I ended up eating half of his plate! And, as is Persian tradition, the evening ended with tea and fresh sweets. What surprised me most was that all of this came at an extremely reasonable price. I honestly don't remember exactly how much we paid, but I do know one thing: the experience was worth every penny. I'm so glad we rediscovered Flame International. Great food, great music, great service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay just a little longer. Flame International is officially back on our restaurant rotation and I have a feeling we'll be seeing a lot more of it! read more

Very disappointing experience. The service was poor, and the food was mediocre at best. They served the stew directly on top of bread, which was soggy and unappetizing. The salad tasted like they threw together whatever they could find in the back of the kitchen. The rice was mushy and lacked any real flavor. Overall, the food quality and service were nowhere near what I expected. Definitely not worth the money, and unfortunately, I won't be coming back. read more

It often felt like they were talking about customers, even if that may not have been the case. The food was bland, lacked freshness, and wasn't worth the price. Service was terrible we had party of 65 . They were stingy with the utensils they told us that once cups ran out there was no extra. Also very rude and food took forever to come out . Please take your money elsewhere i promise it's not worth it here. read more

Do not recommend this place for food, we stopped by for their lunch buffet on Thursday, food was cold, did not appear fresh except for the salad, The place was empty except for several folks who appeared to be related/known to the place who kept ordering their main dish from the kitchen, If there is ever a "zero" star, this place could have the honor!! Btw, If they want to keep the buffet they need to take this seriously, have the real setup with all the arrangements, including the warmers since this kind of food couldn't be served cold. read more

This was our first time ordering from this restaurant on the Fourth of July, and unfortunately it was a terrible experience. We ordered two stews and one barg kebab. Thankfully, we never touched the stews, but we both ate the barg. Within a short time, we both became extremely sick. I hadn't eaten anything else since the morning, so I'm confident the kebab was the cause. We both felt so awful that, at one point, we genuinely thought we might need emergency medical care. It completely ruined our entire day. We're not writing this review to be unfair or to get anyone in trouble--we simply want to share our experience so others are aware. We hope the restaurant looks into its food preparation and safety because no customer should have to go through something like this. read more

This place was extremely disappointing and honestly felt like a scam. The service was terrible, and the food quality was unacceptable. My friend and I ordered the chicken kabob, and the chicken came out raw. When we tried to address the issue, the staff struggled to understand what we were saying, which made the situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, when we received our receipt, there was no itemized breakdown of our order--just a total amount due. My friends and I attended a vintage film convention (Cinecon) that was held at the Nuart Theater. We only had a limited time to have dinner and we took a short walk and discovered Flame International. Their main dining area was set up for a large party for a 50th birthday celebration but the manager Paris directed us to another area and her crew set us up. We had a group of six and explained our predicament. Half the group ordered a meal of Salmon and two other people and myself ordered Ground Veal and Beef (Koobideh). The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. The restaurant is very well decorated. We thank Paris and her crew for the excellent, professional and speedy service. We walked back to the Nuart in time for the next movie. read more

The service was 0/10. Our server never checked on us throughout the meal. There was no salt or pepper on the table, and no one came by to see if we needed anything. Our food arrived cold, although the taste was decent. They charged $100 per person, plus a mandatory $27 tip per person. Forcing customers to pay a gratuity for service they never received is unacceptable. I left feeling disappointed and would not recommend this restaurant. read more

The atmosphere is enjoyable, and if you're there with good company, you'll probably have a good time. The live music and band are decent and definitely the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the food and service are a major disappointment. Don't expect even two-star service. This place feels more like a cabaret that happens to serve food rather than a restaurant. I ordered the koobideh, which was acceptable but nothing special--not amazing or even particularly good. I requested half rice and half salad, but my plate arrived with almost all rice and only a tiny portion of cucumbers and tomatoes. There wasn't even any dressing. I had to ask for lemon, and it wasn't brought to the table until about 30 minutes later, long after I had finished eating. The staff explained that they have to run between the upstairs and downstairs dining areas, but that's not a valid excuse for poor service, long wait times, and inconsistent food quality. If the restaurant is understaffed, management should hire more employees to provide the level of service customers expect. Overall, if you're going for the atmosphere, music, and spending time with friends, you may still enjoy yourself. But if you're going for good food and quality service, this restaurant is likely to disappoint. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but it missed the mark for me. The atmosphere felt average, the service was fine but not especially memorable, and the food didn't stand out. The meat was a little dry, and both the hummus and tzatziki tasted more store-bought than freshly made. I had made a reservation for 2 ppl yesterday for a special event night and when I arrived we were told that we have to sit with 4 other guest. We were take up to the second floor which was dark, dirty and the table had food that was out for maybe hours and then we were sat on a table were there was dirty eaten plates. We celebrated my mom's 75th birthday at Flame International with 30 friends and family. The food was delicious, the ambiance set the mood, and the music and entertainment made the evening a blast. This restaurant is amazing. They stand in solidarity with the victims of Iran and Ukraine. They are so caring and thoughtful. More importantly, their food is fabulous. ONE STAR - A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE This place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. The food was horrible. Cold, tasteless, and honestly inedible. Nothing came out fresh or even warm. For a restaurant that pretends to be upscale, the food quality was insulting. The seating situation is pure hell. Tables are crammed so tightly together that you can't move your chair, let alone breathe. It's overcrowded to an unsafe level. They clearly shove tables and chairs into every possible inch just to pack people in and rip them off. We were charged upfront for our reservation on new years Eve, and were told the program would start at a specific time. When we arrived on time, there was NO table for us at all. Instead, they shoved a tiny table meant for maybe two people into the middle of the dance floor and expected four adults to sit there like a joke. To make it worse, the manager, a woman named Mostashari, along with a couple of the waiters, were extremely rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. Rather than fixing the situation, they pushed us out of the restaurant, escalated things, and we literally had to call 911 because of how hostile it became. This was not just bad service. It was chaotic, unsafe, and disrespectful. Never, ever waste your time or money at this place. There are countless better restaurants where you'll actually get edible food, basic respect, and a seat that isn't in the middle of a dance floor. Avoid at all costs. read more

Our party of nine came here at around 5:30pm on a Thursday night and were able to get seated right away. The service was so friendly and attentive! Loved the complimentary fresh veggies and bread/butter. For appetizers, we got Taddig (x2), Kashk, Mast-o-Khiar (yogurt), Hummus, Shirazi Salad (x2). All the entrees are HUGE so prepare to have leftovers. I ordered Chicken Barg Kabob for mine and it was delicious. Usually I shy away from chicken breast but theirs was perfectly tender and not dry at all. Rack of lamb, soltani kabob, shish kabob are also amazing. 5/5 read more

I was here for a private event. Staff were really rude and had a condescending demeanor. I had the koobideh kabob, which was really bad and oily. Not to mention they didn't get the order right. The DJ was really bad and was not ready for a birthday event. Overall not recommended, especially for private events. read more
