I had an issue with my GE Freezer Refrigerator not cooling and asked Yelp AI assistant to find reputable businesses that provided fridge services. The yelp assistant also DMed all these businesses and I was able to get a quote around 10-40 mins. This business was one of two that was Yelp guaranteed, meaning a project is covered up to lifetime max of $2500 if something goes wrong. Communication: I asked around for availabilities at night around 9PM and they responded quick! Booking the appointment was easy. The labor and replacement parts were installed the same day. Dmitry was friendly, recommended the appropriate process to fix my fridge. No frills or anything just honest good service. I would highly recommend his services to my friends and family! read more

Very professional, a tech came out and was very on time. They ended up diagnosing that my washer needed a new motherboard. Showed me the error code and explained the issue. My refrigerator had been malfunctioning for a few years now. Every few months, I had to defrost it and remove large slabs of ice. It was really frustrating, since my fridge was only 10 years old. Dmitriy came over and quickly assessed the problem. He gave me an accurate and very reasonable quote. He found an additional problem that I had suspected and fixed that as well, for a small additional charge. All in all, I am very happy having a functional fridge again and will call Fixit again, without hesitation. read more

My Electrolux refrigerator, approximately 20 years old stopped freezing and refrigerating. So before purchasing a new $1800-2500.oo unit, a call to FIXIT was a much better choice. Demitri was prompt with his diagnosis, honest regarding the prognosis if repaired. I elected for repairing the (faulty circuit/control board) and it was done within 1/2 hour for much much much less than a new refrigerator and much less than replacing the circuit board. Much appreciated and highly recommended. read more

Quick to reply and came the next day for a diagnostic on my very old stovetop that had a slow gas leak (and shut off by the gas company). Dimitry responded almost instantly after my inquiry to confirm that he could come at the requested time - the same day as the inquiry was made, too! His communication prior to service was excellent, as he was great about letting me know he was running on time and was headed my way. He had a very kind, friendly and professional demeanor, and did very good, fast work to fix the problem! Everything went smoothly, and I felt comfortable having him in my home to work (and around my 2 young children). He was honest and reasonably priced for parts and labor, too. Dmitry was incredibly helpful. They came to our house on fairly short notice to fix our microwave. Dmitry worked for a couple of hours to uninstall it from the cabinets and take it apart. After a few hours of work, he informed me that while 95% of the time the magnetron is broken, that this time it was the motor and he would have to order a new one. He also said that although he could replace that part, it would likely be more affordable for us to buy a brand new microwave. We were grateful for his hard work, and after all of that, he didn't even end up charging a service fee since he wasn't able to fix what he came to fix. Would recommend and hire again! read more
