Meticulous! Fix-it-Fox did an exceptional job restoring an old decaying wood deck and bringing it back to new condition! His work is meticulous! No detail was left unfinished. Rob is the cleanest Handyman in the business. Each day the area was left very clean with his tools and materials neatly tucked under his easy up. Communication with Fix-it-Fox was seamless, from his initial estimate through to the payment, he made all communication very easy, streamlined and clear. Lastly, Fix-it-Fox is a really nice person. From language to appearance, he is someone you can have around the kids without scaring them. I wish yelp would let me give 10 stars, but 5 will have to do. Thanks Fix-it-Fox! read more

I called Mr. Fox to see if he could remove an old ceiling fan and install a new one. He was able to come on the same day although we got our wires crossed so he came the following day. He came exactly when he said very prompt and installed the fan within the hour very friendly, personable man. I didn't go with a second estimate because what he quoted was great value. I will definitely use him for my "honey-do" list again. read more

Okay, what I'm looking for when it comes to straight forward services are price quotes based on my questions and photos provided. Of course, there might be unforeseen things that need to be done, additional items needed, etc. which will cost more but I want to know the base quote. If contractors are experienced, they should have a pretty good idea of how long something would take. Many contractors want to talk with you to probably gauge how much they can charge, if you're getting multiple quotes, etc.. I don't like haggling. I contacted Fix-It-Fox (Rob) via Yelp and he got back to me later that day with a quote. He's one person (as far as I can tell) and is working on jobs during the day so don't expect some dispatcher to get back with you immediately and he says that in his responses to people here on Yelp. If you have to contact him, try texting. If I did call him I would leave a concise message of what you're calling about but that's easier typed out and read for the recipient as I'm that way too. Anyway, I had a bathroom vanity light that I wanted replaced as well as a new wall mounted vent blower. Wiring was already in but just needed the units removed with the new installed. Turned out the switch for the lighting unit was faulty so that added a little time and cost but reasonable. You can write a check, cash, or do Venmo. read more

Working with Rob was a very easy and pleasurable experience. We needed to have a base cabinet installed in our kitchen and based on his reviews, I reached out to Rob. He followed up with me quickly, gave me a very fair price, and came out quickly to do the work. My wife and I were very happy with work and would definitely reach out to him again when we need anything else done around the house. read more

Awesome handyman! He not only did a great job every time he was here, he was on time, organized and clean (his person and his work), friendly, quiet/calm and very helpful. He always communicated clearly with us and was reliable. We highly recommended Fix-It-Fox! read more

I had him build a bed I had received online from Wayfair. He did a great job and prices were reasonable.

Rob was ultra polite and professional. He came to install a newer dryer in a not-well-lit garage and did a great job. He also helped me replace an old lock. Am currently trying to schedule more repairs with him, so yes I'll definitely hire him again! The professionalism is most appreciated! read more

Rob does great work and always shows up when he says he will. I've been a General Contractor for over 30 years, so I know how things should be done. Rob fills a need that I often have on my projects. I highly recommend him. He can do pretty much anything! read more

Fox has done a fantastic job each and every time we have needed him. Thorough and honest at a fair price. Thank you!

We just wanted to come here and say that Rob was truly a professional from start to finish with the repairs he did for our house. He was very speedy in his reply to my initial inquiry, and was very prompt during the actual day that he came over. He was able to fix everything that we talked about, as well as priced everything fairly. He diligently worked on each task until it was done right and got it working properly. Very down to earth guy as well. Definitely will be going back to him for future jobs! Highly recommended! Thanks so much Rob! :) read more

I have now enlisted Rob for two house projects. A fireplace / false wall / entertainment center remodel and a small closet drywall install and paint. I'm very happy with both outcomes. He's very easy to talk with to discuss options and ideas. He's also very efficient with scheduling. Within a week of contact he was at the house doing each project. He doesn't just disappear or not show up for no reason like I've experienced with other contractors. Or work multiple jobs to the point that your project gets over extended. He shows up and gets it done as soon as possible. He showed up everyday until the project was done, except for weekends. He is now my go to guy for handyman works around the house. read more

I would highly recommend Rob. He was efficient, reasonably priced, able to come help us out very quickly, and did a great job! We will definitely be using him again in the future. read more

Works quickly & efficiently! We had a ton of odds & ends left to do on our remodel & he came in & 2 days knocked out the long long list!

I hired Rob to install door hardware on about 11 doors and hang some outside shades. Unfortunately, he did not do a very good job on the doors. He almost ruined our bathroom door. As a result, I needed to hire another door repair person to repair his work. The end result, I ended up paying double for the job. Rob might be good as a general handyman, but he is not good with doors. read more

Rob did awesome work in my bathroom. He did grout replacement and drywall repair. His work is clean and did good quality work. His prices are fare and he's very reliable. Thanks Rob! read more

Be forwarned, if you desire responsiveness or help with occassional emergencies - contact someone else! I asked for assistance as my garage flooded from rain but Rob was "too busy with a commercial job," until the middle of the FOLLOWING week. So, I make do with sand bags and towels until he can come out the next week. Then he comes out, does a few other fixes the following week, and tells me he can't fix my garage flood issue because he has to SEE the rain intruding. But he can switch out the rubber at the bottom of my garage door for $100. (No thanks, I can do that). Fast forward a week, I ask him for help at 7am as my garage floods - so he can SEE it flood, and FIX it. And he replies at 1030 telling me to find someone else and that he had told me he's busy with a commercial job. Not only did he have his own timeline wrong, he was not responsive, wasted my time, and was careless and thoughtless for someone trying to protect their home from repeated flooding because he had a big commercial job. Here I am trying to pay and give business to small businesses, not corporate giants, but they say no good deed goes unpunished! I will not contact this guy again. Good riddance. read more

Totally awesome. I've had bad experiences with other handymen but Rob was great. Very knowledgeable about how to do the job correctly. I needed an interior door fixed, it wouldn't close and got stuck on the carpet half way open. He fixed, it looks great and he was faster than I expected. I will definitely call him back for future jobs. read more
