This shop overall repair work is good but I'm writing this review because it's been almost a year since my claim and for over a month, I've called to confirm if they received my email including the photos of the issues I need addressed, and simply put whether they need to fix it or my insurance company will have a supplement (I have 15 years body shop experience and recently retired, I know the ins and outs and have tried to make this as simple and no stress involved). My car was hit front and back. Took it to this horrible place NEVER again. The paint job was so horrible that the clear coat on my back number had bleed. Every corner of my front and back bumper we're not painted correctly. I informed my insurance and this shop of the unprofessional work. They tell me to come only to send me back as they were not prepared with a rental. Mind you I never rushed them once, so why such a horrible job? On top of all of this 30 extra miles we're on my car. Returned the car dirty. Just horrible do not take your car to this place as it will be a horrible experience on top of the stress you may have from your car accident. read more

Don't get my wrong the people in there are nice. With that said I haven't had the truck back more then 3 months and the paint is flaking off. The Quality of work is horrible and clearly have bad prep. Almost forgot to mention there's a finger print right in the middle of the fender. Once again a mix and bad prep and the quality of work they are putting out. In the picture that is a piece of paint that can straight of the fender and just getting worst. Picked up my car, still needs an alignment, put a mirror on my driver's side that NO ONE could possibly see out of. It looks like one of those fake plastic mirrors. Did their survey and then was immediately called, which I don't appreciate. Don't try to communicate all of a sudden when someone's unhappy. Paint job was good so that's a plus. read more

My 1st leased car was rear-ended in October. Being single and working and living alone, I took it to the Hyundai PS dealership on a Saturday. I sat 1 and a half HOURS until I asked what was going on and was told autobody shops are closed on the weekends. Needless to say it soured me on getting bumper fixed. My State Farm insurance gave me a list of local Palm Desert shops I could use. Fix Auto PD was fast, easy to make appointment, had ROOM to park and drop off the car, charged what the insurance appraiser estimated, was timely AND kept me up to date on the status of my car! We've been in this place Fix Auto Palm Desert before and we spent good amount of money there . Hopefully this feedback will catch the owner Henry Arroyo's attention . We took our car BMW for some repair to Fix Auto Palm Desert. We've got horrible service in return, no customer service, no responsibility . A small panel under the front end of the car came off , and one of the windows was not working . We left the car for repair just like that, no work order, no estimate, no receipt... just leave the key, will call you. There are two girls, Joana and Aaliyah , kids from elementary school can do a better job. Of course nobody called so we had to drive 15 miles to check what is going on We were told the panel is NOT fixable " we have to order a new one and the window still we have to check it out and call you with the estimate ". So the car stayed there for four days . Finally on the fifth day we called again for estimate and time frame. We were " permitted " by Joana ( a spoiled woman with a behavior of a 14 years old girl ) to talk the manager Aaliyah , surprisingly we were told the car is ready , " we reattached to broken panel " ???... and " the window you drive it the way it is " ??? .... We took the car, the car was full with dust and dirt , they kept the window open during the windy and dusty weather out in the parking lot . We had to go directly to a car wash We called the next day trying to talk to the manager . This time we were left on the mercy of Joana " leave your name , phone number and the manager will call you ". Nobody called , it is like a " wait a call from a dead person ". Even a zero star is to much for that kind of service !!! Terrible disappointment !!! read more

I took my vehicle to this location for repair after it was hit while parked in front of my house. My insurance company recommended this shop and so I drove there to receive an estimate. I dropped my vehicle off to be repaired a few days later. I did receive timely communication from the shop during the repair process. The problems occurred when I went to pick up my vehicle on 3 different days. The first time they hadn't even washed my car and I discovered paint flaws and sanded trim with no paint. Days later when I returned for the 2nd time to pick up my car, I discovered a cracked headlight and when I brought this to management's attention, I was told that they didn't damage my headlight until I provided proof by showing them a photo of my headlight before I dropped it off to them. The final time I returned to pick up my car, the paint job looked good and the headlight had been replaced so I accepted their work and paid my deductible. Upon driving home I discovered part of my bumper assembly was in the back of my car. They hadn't reassembled it so I had to return to have them do this. I will not recommend this shop to others. read more

When I was originally rear ended at the beginning of the month, the other drivers insurance recommended this place. My first time around they had my car fixed in 2 full business days, even washed/vacuumed! I was so excited. The staff was super friendly and they kept me updated on my car constantly. Well I got rear ended 3 days after I got my car back so I thought why not bring it there since the service was so great. Well this go around was not as wonderful as it just recently was. The staff for some reason wasn't as sweet (even though they remembered me)... not mean either just seemed less personable. Also, they did not keep me updated on my car. I call them for a follow up on a concern that I had regarding my vehicle and was told I'd get a call back, but no I didn't and had to end up asking once I was told the car was ready. I told them I would be there first thing in the morning, and I was there at 9:45. They opened at 8 and I show up to be told that they are just now washing my car, which I had no time to wait for (thankfully I didn't since it rained anyway). My car was done well before close on Friday and I came after telling them I would be there, so I don't understand why it wasn't done. Also, I wasn't shown my vehicle and no one looked over it with me like before... just brought the car and got out "the keys are inside". Ha oh thanks, you know let's maybe make sure the bumper is actually fixed. My car was sent to this shop for repair by GMC dealership around a week ago. here is how unprofessional this shop is. A staff from the shop called me yesterday to pick up my care, and told me the car will be ready around 3 -4 pm the same day, I told him that I will pickup my car the next morning around 8 am on the way to work. The next day, I drop off my rental car, and rental car company dropped me off at this repair shop. I walked in the shop, the only employee sitting there told me that she can't release the car because she did not see any payment. She dragged on and on, I finally called AAA insurance, I called the guy who called me yesterday, I called the supervisor from other locations, i try to call the owner, I called dealership, because I need my car to go to work right away, instead,the only woman in the offce, just walking around, and do no help. ! It take them an hour and half with me yelling in that ridiculous place because i was so frustrated with the staff and i was so late to go work!!!!! I have only one questions for this repair shop - Why even call me to pick up the car while you still have issues and kept me waiting in shop for more than an hour? You apologizes means nothing to me, you say you understand my frustration - I say " YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND IT AT ALL!" Don't deal with those amateurs with bad attitude! The seat In my car was not going back or forward. I had a number of people check it out, looking at the fuses And checking the motor. I called fix auto and they were able to diagnose it right away. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TOTHESE PEOPLE. I took my car to FixAuto in Palm Desert for repairs that included a rental car for one day. I payed Fixauto for the repairs and the car rental from Enterprise. FixAuto never paid Enterprise for the car so Enterprise flags my drivers license in there computer as DO NOT RENT A CAR TO THIS GUY. They never contacted me by mail, phone, e-mail NO CONTACT at all just posted me on there computer as do not rent. I found this out when I flew across country on Christmas Eve and arrived in Richmond VA at midnight Christmas Eve only to find I couldn't get the car that I had reserved 3 months prior. These PEOPLE don't care about customer service, do your self a favor and rent from Budget. By the way Enterprise, National and Alamo are the same company. Stay away from all of them. Take your car somewhere else for repairs. FixAuto could care less that this happened to me. read more
