The guys here are awesome! Im going to submit this review for the north park and downtown location because the fellas at both of these shops have helped me. I brought my iPhone 12 Pro in to have the back glass replaced (badly cracked each time, yeah I suck) and to have a new battery installed. Every single guy I've interacted with has been awesome. They are very friendly, work quickly, care about the customers and are VERY accommodating. HOW accommodating you might ask? Well I brought my phone in yesterday to have the back glass and battery replaced. They were able to fix the back glass no problem but did not have the battery at the north park location so they asked to come in tomorrow. I mentioned that I wouldn't make it by closing because of my work commute. Well that didn't deter them from being awesome at all. Not only did Miguel, from the downtown shop, bring the battery up from his store, but he showed up at the north park location 30 minutes after closing AND replaced the battery for me. I choose to support local businesses and I am MORE than happy to spend some time writing up a review (here and on google) for great people behind a great local small business. My apple watch screen shattered when it fell on the floor :( Fix 4 Less was one of the few places that did watch screen repair and I'm so happy I found them! They responded quickly with a repair price of $180, which was half the price of my watch at the time. I bought it thru Verizon and didn't want to go thru all the hassle of updating/payments, etc., so I was happy with this option. They had to order the screen, which took a couple days, and once they had the parts, it only took about an hour to fix. Several months later, the screen started to pop off, due to getting too wet (but the watch still worked) and they fixed it for $20. He warned me that the iPhone software would detect it as a non Apple camera but the camera works great now so I couldn't care less. The manager makes a false claim that the tech offered to reboot my phone. Stop being dishonest. You are trying to discount the truth. No way did the tech offered to fix, reboot or attempt to solve this problem. I am dead serious. When I brought it in he was polite. When I brought it back due to his inability to lack any skill set in fixing a phone. He shouted at me at the top of his lungs as though we were at a football game cheering in a game. Highly sensitive and thinking ignorantly...who screams the loudest wins the argument. Awe & wonder... Earlier this week, I took my Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ here. Many close & mutual friends have come here to get their SmartPhones screens repaired, and their "seal of approval" was enough for me to drive down to this location on 30th Street in North Park; full disclosure: they were only an 8-minute drive from my apartment. On June 18th, an hour before they closed, I dealt with Aydn Yldz -- who was one duty. He took a look at my SmartPhone, looked up to see if they could acquire a replacement screen & they were. It was a bit costly ($300+) but since I've had no issues with connectivity, virus, etc. -- I felt it was worth it rather than replacing the whole thing altogether. Aydn informed me it would take, on average, "3-5 business days" for the replacement screen to arrive. To my shock, it arrived at Noon on June 20th -- less than 48 hours later. It took all but 2 hours to replace the screen and I found their customer service to be upfront, cordial, and comforting. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

Quick note: If you don't have an iPhone or Samsung don't expect same day repairs. You'll most likely have to wait for any repair shop to order parts for your phone. Anyway, I needed a new battery installed in my Google Pixel 5 as it started to bulge and push the screen up. I tried many of the local repair shops and none had the part in stock. So I landed on using Fix 4 Less. The whole repair was $99 and I paid a $50 deposit so they could order the part. It arrived within two days. They told me since the battery was already bulging, it was putting extra stress on the screen which could cause it to break during the removal. Thankfully the tech that did the work was able to remove the screen without issue and they completed the repair within a few hours. Many thanks! read more

Used to be awesome. Ain't no more. I've been patronizing for many years, under the old (friendly) owner and now with the newer, younger, off-putting guy. He literally wouldn't even let me get two complete sentences out of my mouth regarding the nature of the problem without repeatedly interrupting, and was in all sorts of hurry to get me out the door without any assistance whatsoever. Reminiscent of a typical Kafkaesque bureaucratic telephone 'support' call where they start offering 'solutions' before you've even told them the basic issue; except with the difference that not only didn't he offer any solutions, but he backhandedly waved for me to leave. There's absolutely no way anyone could help solve a problem when they don't understand the nature of the problem. Zero stars. read more

I took my iPhone XR took the store in order fix the vibration switch since it wouldn't stay in the "loud" position. In summary: I will not come back to this store and I recommend that you don't visit or come back either. I brought in something to get repaired and they handed it back with one thing fixed and one other thing damaged. Pros: 1. This fixed the switch. It feel sturdy and so far it seems like the technician did a good job. 2. They respond very quickly via the Yelp app. Cons: 1. As a result of the repair, the front camera is damaged. The camera quality is noticeably lower with a hazy quality and FaceID no longer works. The back camera also had the hazy issue but they were able to clean it after I noticed it in the store. 2. When I asked if I had to pay for the front camera damage (which occurred during the repair), they said yes. 3. The warranty only applies to the part they provided. Therefore the warranty doesn't cover damage to other parts of the phone. Considering that the total cost was about $130, I would have rather left my switch broke. The only reason I didn't give them 1 star is because that part actually works (for now). read more

Dropped off my phone to be repaired on 12/23/23 with a very nice representative. I had a iPhone 12 Pro Max that needed both the front and back screens repaired. The price was decent, when I picked it up they had replaced the back with a different product that was NOT glass, but I let it slide because the phones older. The phone immediately began to glitch and become snowy. I called and the rep told me "come back in, it sound like a defective screen no problem. You have a warranty". When I came back I had the misfortune of dealing with the person who presented himself as the owner. Within a minute of our conversation he cut me off while I was explaining the issues, told me I was railed up and needed to bring it down. Mind you the old person getting loud was him. Then proceeded to tell me what I discussed with his worker though he wasn't present at the time. Too sum it up he overestimate to fix the screen for an additional $70 on top of the $220 already paid. I went to A to Z wireless and paid the $140 to avoid any more interaction with this guy. read more

Went there to get my iPhone 13 Pro Max back glass fixed, guaranteed it was fixed like the glass but then I realized after I picked it up later that night that the flash didn't work. Went back the very next day and the guy working there (don't remember his name probably the owner) said he never checked the flash before taking it so he can't verify that it was indefinitely him that broke it but promised to order the part to fix it which he stated would take 4-5 business days and give me a call to drop it off so he could fix it (keep in mind I brought it back on Dec 31st to get looked at) it's now Jan 7th another Sunday and I have not received a call or anything letting me know the part came in to fix it. 0 stars, don't actually fix your phone and poor customer service! read more
