I made reservations here for my sister's bachelorette party, and it was the best decision of the night!! I definitely read the reviews prior and was looking forward to a fun night and it was not a let down!!! I'm looking forward to going again for either a bachelorette party, birthday party or just girls night out! read more

My daughter brought me here for Mother's Day and we had a great time! They served brunch which was pretty good too. It's a little risque but it didn't bother me at all. Very funny read more

It's a fun raunchy evening of entertainment on the cheap. They serve light food and coffee drinks, as well as kitchy gifts. The highlight, of course, is the bingo. But it is so much more than Bingo. The Drag Queen was divine - funny, raunchy, and quick-witted. You can BYOB (discretely), enjoy the humor and have a great time with your friends. For about $20. read more

I went to Drag Queen Bingo with friends to celebrate my birthday. What a fun and unique place to party! Trixie Deluxe was our MC for the evening, and she was absolutely fantastic- I laughed so hard my cheeks began to feel like they had been botoxed. The entertainment was great- although I cannot say much for the food or coffee beverages. I did not have either- but my friends got burgers/ chicken strips- both of which (I was told) were neither terrible or fantastic but rather just meh. I would say this place is more for the entertainment factor than the inventive and delicious menu. They had a raffle along with the bingo, and I won $93!!! That was pretty exciting. I would definitely go back for more Drag Queen Bingo! read more

Minus 1 star for the $30 cover and bachelorette party scene at drag queen bingo . Cute stuff and cute boys

Hilarious! My wife and I went to Drag Queen Bingo this past Saturday and saw Trixie Deluxe. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but came away with entertainment that was well worth the price of admission!! We will be back. read more

I've been twice and will likely be back. From the confirmation email they send you to the show itself, everything is funny and lighthearted. The first time I went was with Trixie Deluxe, who is flown in from Orlando one weekend a month, and I'm positive that she's worth it. She's dirty (I assume they all are) but not gratuitously so, and has a quick wit and entertaining stories sprinkled throughout. If I had one complaint about her it's that drag queens should NEVER be in flats, but as she pointed out, it probably IS difficult to get great heels in size 15. The second time was with Sabin. She was also funny but much more crude, and the swearing sometimes seemed forced and gratuitous. Still she puts on a good show and builds a good rapport with the crowd. Everyone gets assigned seats, which helps a lot (I can't imagine trying to get here and claim a spot for your group). Online confirmation was a cinch. There's no alcohol but if you're into smoothies and coffee drinks, well that's what they do all the time so I'm sure they're good at it. The bathroom situation is horrible so go right before and see if you can get through the show. Only bring guys if they're very secure and might be OK with being called out (and if they don't want that, request a table in the back). read more

My first time going was January 2016 and I picked the date because my absolute favorite ginger minj was supposed to be there. Unfortunately she was unable to host and Sabin was there instead. Sabin was fantastic and my friends and I had an awesome time. For people saying it was vulgar and crude...they warn you before the show that nothing is off limits. That's part of the performance and you are given a heads up. You have to be completely open minded attending this event and if anything offends you then don't go. I am going back this may because Ginger will be there and I know it's going to be a fantastic night! As far as complaints about the gifts, come on it's supposed to be a bit campy what do you expect? Jewelry and gift cards? Just go have a good time and roll with it, it's $20 for a great night it's not like it costs $100. read more

I am sad to say it was not the best time ever. Our drag queen was wonderful, but the rest of the staff was less than friendly. One thing that really upset me was the 50/50 raffle. We bought tickets, and a few minutes later I saw my tickets that were for the raffle jar laying on the table next to us. I told one of the staff members and instead of apologizing he rolled his eyes at me and put them on the back counter. I thought that was rather rude. $20 does get you a BINGO card, but if someone just wins then you have to go for a double BINGO. However, that person can easily win again within a few seconds. This happened twice that night. I thought that was kind of BS. One guy walked out with 4 prizes and he was less than thrilled about winning. Everything was pretty overpriced on the menu. It wasn't bad food, but it wasn't worth what it is priced. $9 for Mac N' Cheese bites... read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! Went for a friends birthday to drag queen bingo! It was amazing, and by amazing I mean AMAZING! We had such a good time. The Drag Queen was super funny, and the pizza was awesome. Only thing missing is alcohol. read more

Drag Queen Bingo was a hit. The entertainer was hilarious, and worth coming back for more. There 's lots of chances for players to win and at the end they do a 50/50 raffle, half goes to charity and the other half goes to the winner. Alchohol is NOT served here, but they do sell a number of booze smuggling iteams, oh and they sell coffee. read more

Since Five 15 has moved to their new location, everything has just gotten better. I went for the Sunday Brunch session of Drag Queen Bingo. The cocktails were yummy. Although I am not a big fan of buffet-style, the food was quite good. The staff were all attentive and friendly. The entertainment was stellar! Carol Lee (sp?) was our amazing bingo hostess. I laughed so hard I gave myself a slight headache. My friend said her face hurt from laughing and smiling so much. I would certainly return to experience more of the Fabulous Five 15! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!! The customer service was terrible. I was here for my cousins birthday and we had a group of 10 girls. One of the waiters spilled mimosas on the birthday girl and her friend and all they could say was sorry!! They were soaking wet (hair shirt purse and pants) and the birthday girl asked for a free shirt so she wouldn't have to sit in her wet shirt.. the waiter agreed but the manger refused! He was very argumentative and told her she could leave! So our party all decided we wanted refunds and we were going to leave with her!! I would not recommend coming here.. the manager is very inconsiderate. read more

My brother was bugging me for a long time to try Drag Queen Bingo so I said, why not? My brother, John, and his wife, Donna, my husband, Jim, and me went to Drag Queen Bingo for my birthday for the Sunday brunch on May 1, 2016. We had great seats right near the stage. I loved the brunch because they had so many things to choose from: hot snacks, cheeses, potato salad, mini blueberry muffin, cut up melons, etc. Sabin was our host and he was a real hoot! He had fun with my husband, brother, and me. He was so funny! Keep up the good work! read more

I've been twice now and I'm hooked! Already planning our next time! Such a fun and hilarious time each and every time, you never know what you are going to see, hear, or witness. Lol. I even brought my older "church going" aunts and they loved it as well! The staff is all great and the price is more than reasonable! I will keep coming back and back and back! read more

Holy shit. Forget pinwheel (not really they are great) and forsake all other royal oak coffee shops. This place makes the best espresso drinks. And i think in trying to compliment them i just was an asshole, but not intentionally, i just have had very little sleep since ive been nursing babies every night for 6 years. So hey, if you are reading im so sorry that i said "i always forget how good the coffee is here" and pretend i just said thank you, it was perfect as always. If you wanna sit in a pink chair near a window with an outlet and fast internet, come here. I heard a referrnce to Dolly within minutes, and drag queen Bingo was being set up and looks like a ball. Im nobody, but i just want to add my appreciation for the colorful, lovely, Fabulous atmosphere and coffee of five 15. read more

This show has a ton of potential - but is lacking in audience participation. Our Drag Queen was fabulous - HerShay Chocolate, and I even won a round, but as a veteran of many, many interactive shows, this show needs a little help. My friend and I helped HerShay with our silly jokes and innuendos, but no one else kept the momentum. Two suggestions: either serve liquor OR have the waitstaff intermingle with the audience to encourage participation. One ice-breaker would be to have the waitstaff offer to take pics of the groups that were there (many, many people had cameras). It's always easy to spot a person who is more than willing to tease and be teased. An alert waitstaff could help with this as well and point out to the Drag Queen just exactly who to trade barbs with. I had a great time, and would like to see this event flourish. read more

Drag Queen Bingo is great! I WON! They didn't make fun of me much (thank goodness). Will come again. Love the LGBTQ community! The Queens are hilarious. Don't go if you don't like or can't handle rather raunchy jokes. It got intense at times - like not George Carlin explicit and dirty but more Robin Williams or Dane Cook dirty. It's cringey but not lewd for lewd-sake. read more

Came here for a birthday party and it was awesome. Drag queen bingo was fantastic and hilarious. Had a light brunch and then the game (and show) started. Everyone had a blast and I didn't stop laughing the whole time. Sabin was our host and they were super funny and amazing. I would definitely come here again and recommend for a fun event. read more

Before I start my review, let me just say that my group of 4 girls got Groupons to come to drag queen bingo here. I had never been to it before but figured why not? Should be fun. The hot chocolate was delicious. Surprisingly so! Bingo was strange. I thought it was a lot more vulgar and cringe-worthy than I was expecting. My group was some of the youngest people in the establishment and I felt horrible for the people who got a Bingo and went up there and got humiliated. I think I could deal with the crude jokes and what not, but if I was one of the people as the butt of the joke, I don't think I would be too happy. I was thankful not to have a Bingo and I'm glad to have been here, done this. I don't think I will be going back. Also, the gifts that you win, after being roasted were AWFUL! An old crumpled up cookie and mug/shirt with some garbage on it. I consider myself to be a fun/light hearted person but I was expecting much more from this place. read more

Absolutely love this place! Went last year for my 21st birthday and I had a blast. I suggest getting a drink in your system before heading to drag bingo as it can be intense but so much fun. My grandmother was in the spotlight most of the night due to sitting so close to the stage but she took it like a champ. The queen was so quick with the jokes, it had us laughing hysterically. Can't wait to go again read more

OK, OK , OK. This will be a bitter pill. Love the concept. The Queen was smashing. She was funny, raunchy, loved her. BUT...there was something weird in the air. It had a smell. It was the smell of female desperation to be loved or adored or not bored or titillated or...I don't know. Maybe it's the site alone of 100 lunch tables packed with white (very little diversity on the night I was there) women from suburban Michigan that made me feel weird. There were like 3 men. Weird!! I still can't put my finger on why the vibe was so bizarre. It definitely wasn't the Queen. It was us, the audience. A public reading of "FIfty Shades" might have capped off the night. (I hate "Fifty Shades", you might have guessed). If someone has some insight into my experience and why I was so weirded out that would be helpful. PS, I won a mug and a Tshirt read more

Got a Groupon for Sunday morning Brunch Bingo and thought it would be a fun time. I guess we should have specifically asked for chairs to sit on when we made the reservation. To be fair to ourselves, everyone else had chairs but we had the table in the corner that was the only one that didn't even have one chair...just planks of wood attached to the wall against the windows. We are plus sized people and my husband is 6 feet tall - so sitting on a plank of wood that felt hot glued to the wall 10 inches off the ground was uncomfortable and a little scary - since we knew we were going to a show where the audience is fair game and your "seat" giving way underneath you could provide even the most inept of comic material for a whole show. And sitting with your knees up in your chest makes it a little uncomfortable. Since we checked in within 5 minutes of the doors opening, we tried to express our concerns to the man with the clipboard who seemed to be in charge of seating but we were waved away with a flick of the wrist and he literally turned his back to us as he checked in another couple. We were left with our jaws dropped looking at each other like "THIS is what everyone has been raving about". We looked around and saw other people getting comfy in their "real" chairs - some even had cushions on them - and decided to leave before things managed to get worse. We can take a hint from the Universe - we were not meant to attend this event. Can't comment on the show as we didn't see any of it - but would not recommend this to anyone who wants to sit on real chairs or be treated like a human being when requesting to be allowed to sit in real chairs. read more

I have never laughed so hard and so long in my life. It's less about the bingo and more about just having fun with the drag queen, although they do have nice prizes. Angel was our host and she was hilarious! Definitely rated R and be ready to be roasted if you do win, but everything is in good fun. I will definitely be coming back many times; it's an awesome night out for $20. read more

Girls brunch out for a birthday. Great fun foul language comedy show. The brunch was nothing to write home about - muffins, cheese slices, potato and macaroni salads, turkey rollups, sausage on a stick, coffee and tea. The show was entertaining and the prizes in keeping with the foulness of the whole event. You really have to be in the right mood and enjoy hearing the F word, oh a thousand times or so. read more

Went for a friends birthday and did not really know what to expect. We had a great time, it was a comedy show combined with bingo... an event nothing like I have ever been to. Be prepared for tons of sarcasm and ridiculousness! I would suggest you arrive early to look at all of the gag gifts in the store and to access your seat easily. An FYI, It gets very crammed and crowded, and there are only 2 toilets but the show was only two hours so it was not an issue for my group. I will definitely go back sometime! A great laugh and something different to try. read more

Be ready to be roasted and laugh! What fun and the brunch was decent, too. Went with my family and had such a good time. They squeezed about 40 of us in there so if you like your elbow room you might feel claustrophobic but your sitting most of the time anyways. Second bathroom was a great addition. Loved our host, Sabin, who was not in full drag but could give any of us some diva tips. He was very quick witted and could roll with the punches as well as give it. Bring the guys if they can handle a bit of roasting. Only people I can think of that would not have a blast is a toxic asshats that doesn't know a good time or laugh at themselves. read more

This is a new spot for me anyway, when I had my downtown stores this was not around, but its an interesting addition to the town, a bit of everything, from quirky gifts to loose leaf tea, desserts to greeting cards, very much an oddity, to have two distinctly different businesses together as one, It seems to be working and I love that they are independent and not one of the big chains, may I make a suggestion? Maybe some sandwiches or soup, maybe some not so sweet snacks, just me, the day I went in I got some tea and would have bought food but not sweets... The tea was great! read more

I had read about Drag Queen Bingo in the Free Press, then saw it on Groupon and finally decided to take my wife to Bingo after dinner in Royal Oak on a Saturday night. I love standup comedy and thought this sounded like a novel way to be entertained. So as recommended, we arrived a half hour early for seating at the 10:00 show. Little did we know that our table for two had already been reserved, leaving us with nothing to do but watch the rest of the crowd file in. The place is small, a coffee/gift shop by day, with tables crammed everywhere they could be fit. We were seated away from the stage and I had to turn around sideways to see the show. But first we had to wait nearly 45 minutes for it to actually begin. Some patrons arrived after 10:00 p.m. and made it to their tables in plenty of time. As it turned out, over 80% of the audience was comprised of giggling bachelorette partygoers, all decked out and fully revved up for some sort of good time. Only problem is -- for us at least -- the good time never materialized. The bingo host(ess), a Joan Rivers impersonator, was actually pretty boring. Her opening remarks were mildly amusing and focused on the obvious perils of being a drag queen. Then, for the most part, it was indeed like being at my grandmother's bingo hall. For a supposedly professional entertainer, the host(ess) just wasn't that funny. My wife really wanted to leave at the intermission (which, by the way, was another 20 minutes or so cut from the show and simply an opportunity to buy coffee or raffle tickets offered and/or use the sole bathroom on the premises). I asked her to stick it out so we could have a chance at winning the "big" prize in the 4th and final game. We didn't end up winning anything, though I am not sure what we would have done with a raunchy t-shirt or mug. The show ended at 11:30 p.m. and we couldn't leave fast enough. Actual show time clocked in at about an hour. I have read the other reviews on this site and I guess I just don't get it. Perhaps if I was a girl in my 20s and a friend was getting married, this might have been a proper destination. But I'm not. I am in my 40s and I can certainly appreciate when something is genuinely entertaining. This just wasn't. Male or female, gay or straight is completely irrelevant. Actually, if I was planning a bachelorette party, I could think of a lot better ways to celebrate. This place has no liquor license and the entertainment was pretty dull. Perhaps a different host(ess) might have altered our experience. Lower your expectations and, if you don't mind spending $20/person for an hour of bingo, satisfy your curiosity. Just don't waste your time arriving early... read more

this was such a fun and hilarious event! i highly recommend to anyone looking to do something different without breaking the bank. bingo spots fill up quickly on fridays and saturday's so make sure you book super early (like a month or so in advance for the earlier evening games) unless you're okay with 10pm on saturday night. it's about two hours long and i laughed the entire time. if you don't like raunchy jokes or jokes that can be somewhat offensive, this place isn't for you. please don't attempt to go because your feelings will be hurt if you're sensitive. i found the jokes hilarious and after all, they are just jokes. it's all fun and games here! the prizes were a mug and a t-shirt if you won a game of bingo, not too shabby. the only thing was that there's only two single restrooms and the place was packed with about 150 people, so sometimes there was a line for the restroom. they are reopening in the fall with their liquor license so i'll be looking forward to updating my review to five stars then! read more

Drag queen bingo gets an A+. The people that work there are really nice. The food and drinks are good. I can't wait to go back!

My rating would be higher if I could select more stars. I am not surprised to see all the ratings at 5 stars. I can't believe I've never written a review about DQ bingo before. We are going for our 6th time on Friday.. 6 times in the last year. We absolutely LOVE it.. It is one of our favorite weekend events with friends. If you've never been, GO. HIlarious! I think it's better than a night out at the Comedy Castle. You will laugh so hard your face and stomach hurt. Many straight men are afraid to go. It's not all gay men. You are not gay if you go. My boyfriend enjoys going too. We think it's a riot. We've seen Trixie Deluxxe twice, September Murphy twice and Lauren Jacobs once. We still need to see Hershae Chocolate and are looking forward to seeing Jennifer Foxx this coming Friday. September Murphy seems to be the most mild of the 3 we've seen. Lauren Jacobs is definitely the most RAUNCHY!! She's called "The queen of mean". I must admit, she scares me. She's rough and she does not spare anyone. Don't mess with her. And don't be intimidated by the 4 letter "C word", DQ bingo is always a sold out show! Love it! read more
