My rating would be higher if I could select more stars. I am not surprised to see all the ratings at 5 stars. I can't believe I've never written a review about DQ bingo before. We are going for our 6th time on Friday.. 6 times in the last year. We absolutely LOVE it.. It is one of our favorite weekend events with friends. If you've never been, GO. HIlarious! I think it's better than a night out at the Comedy Castle. You will laugh so hard your face and stomach hurt. Many straight men are afraid to go. It's not all gay men. You are not gay if you go. My boyfriend enjoys going too. We think it's a riot. We've seen Trixie Deluxxe twice, September Murphy twice and Lauren Jacobs once. We still need to see Hershae Chocolate and are looking forward to seeing Jennifer Foxx this coming Friday. September Murphy seems to be the most mild of the 3 we've seen. Lauren Jacobs is definitely the most RAUNCHY!! She's called "The queen of mean". I must admit, she scares me. She's rough and she does not spare anyone. Don't mess with her. The brunch at 1300 served good lunch time food with small desserts. The alcoholic drinks were yummy, but a little pricey. Eric and Gerianne sang many show tunes and were funny as well. The singing and keyboard were great. If you want the Drag Queen Bingo, be careful when you book your tickets or you may get a different type of show. I found Five15 totally by happy accident today when I attended a morning function held there. What a great place! The staff was really pleasant, the shop was funky and fun, the coffee was fantastic and the quirky and eclectic collection of wares, books and cards were unique and really reasonably priced. This is an awesome way to spend a girl's night out. We had so much fun. If you are looking for some racy fun, this is so for you. By no means, is this for the faint of heart. I didn't stop laughing the whole time. Just a helpful reminder, please show up on time or . . . you maybe the butt of many jokes. Went for drag queen bingo to do a scavenger hunt for a charity challenge called gishwhes. We dressed like superheroes and took pictures for the hunt. Drag queen bingo was so fun, and the drag queen was so funny poking fun at us and the other people that were there, and they were all so glamorous! on saturday nights five15 offers drag queen bingo after the retail shop has closed. i found drag queen bingo to be one of the most interesting things i've done in awhile. i have heard of other much more hip cities offering this nighttime option for ages. i jumped on the chance to attend when it was posted. the place was packed to the brim. and at 15 dollars a person they were making some bucks. i thought that was a smart way for the store's owners to pull in some cash. storefronts in royal oak come and go and i'd like to see this one stay. the option to bring your own drinks and food was my favorite part of the evening. for the price of entry and ten games you can have a night out for just about 25 dollars with entertainment. where else can you do that? we had the pleasure of trixie deluxxe as our emcee for the evening and she was hillarious. bring friends that can take a joke, because everyone is fodder for her camp. the atmosphere, the queen, the prizes.....everything made for a very fun and gutbusting evening. ps-i suggest bringing some good luck dolls. they worked for me! love, juston read more

I've heard lots of good things about Drag Queen Bingo, but it looks like it can be hit or miss, depending on the performer for the night. We had Lauren last night and had to leave before the intermission. I just felt gross after sitting through as much as we did. Crass and dirty is to be expected, but I was surprised at level of racist jokes with the excuse of being an equal opportunity racist. It was so, so bad. The audience seemed to enjoy most of the humor, but got visually quiet and uncomfortable once the Muslim jokes started. Started to feel like a Trump rally. read more

You have to go at least once in your lifetime. It's for gay or straight people, they don't descriminate. It's $15 to play and you can bring your own food and alcoholic drinks, however they do sell food and pop/water there if you choose not to bring anything. The highlight is the drag queen who is calling the numbers, mine happened to be Trixie. No one was safe from ridicule. It was funny, raunchy, sarcastic, and absolutely hilarious. Everyone had a great time and I ended up buying an awesome mug, a bumper sticker, and a birthday card. The only negative thing I would have to say is that there is only one toilet for a room full of alcohol drinking people..the line was never ending. Legs-crossed, I had a blast! read more

My friend had been there before and had a great time with a cute, fun, slightly insulting drag queen leading things. Last evening it was the nastiest, cruelest host imaginable. None of us wanted to play because none of us wanted to have to go up and talk with her. It wasn't funny. The drag queen used the same tired "bitch" and "cock" over and over and over. I felt like I was in a junior high school locker room. Good-natured heckling would be fun. Cruel comments about peoples' handicaps, ethnic generalities and nasty ugly comments about peoples' looks and gender identity are not fun. In the name of "fun" this person let loose with some ugly vitriol that obviously is filling his soul. Sad......but we just wanted to leave and did. $20 wasted. Find out who the hostess is before you go. I don't know the name of this person,, but it was Friday evening at 7:00 pm, April 17. Drag Queen Bingo is a big hit at Five15! I attended DQB last night and it was more fun than I even anticipated it would be! The place was packed to the walls so you definitely should call ahead for reservations. I went with a group of about 25 with a women's group party. It is $20 per show for 4 rounds of bingo and worth every penny! Winners get suggestive T-shirts and mugs that are all in good fun. You have to be 18 to play. Our drag-queen host was Lauren Jacobs who is the self-proclaimed "queen of mean." Certainly be prepared to be picked on, especially if your group is dressed alike or you are the kind of person who stands out in a crowd. They do serve pretty good food--pizzas, nachos etc, but there is no liquor license. I laughed so hard, my cheeks hurt and as the saying goes, "this is not your Grandma's bingo, so if you are the type who is offended by bad language, sexual jokes or being singled out and ridiculed in a crowd--just stay home! read more

I had such a problem getting reservations that now I will never go. I left a message saying what reservation I wanted and mentioned I had a Groupon. It took a day to get a call back and they said they still had room. I called back and left another message saying I still want to make the reservation. Nobody returned that call. Hours later I called and they were sold out. My Groupon expired because of it. Somebody named Richard didn't have enough common sense to count us in as it was filling up...or someone could have called back sooner....or at all. POOR customer service and reservation system. DONT TAKE PHONE RESERVATIONS IF YOU ARENT GOING TO HONOR THEM. read more

After much searching I have not been able to find a grief support group for same-sex partners who have lost a spouse, same-sex partner, child, parent or even a loved pet.
