Fast courteous counter service. Rep explained all that would happen and estimated wait time. Waiting room bit sparse, there is a huge palm out front that offers great shade with seating. I waited for vehicle, wait established was on target. read more

If you are new to CA and new to the whole smog testing- make sure you get what you NEED. If you are switching to CA plates, make sure you get the smog certificate and not just the check. Otherwise you'll find yourself back again to for another check! Smog check prices here are $51.75 plus $8.25 for the certificate. Should have checked yelp first. You can find other places that only charge $30-$40. Don't make the same mistake I did. read more

This place wasn't cheap at $63, but it certainly was fast. I was there only customer on a Saturday morning and was in and out in under 15 minutes. The place is hard to miss with the giant van outside and giant banner on it. The guy running the place seemed friendly enough. I probably should've shopped around for a cheaper option, but time was of the essence and this place looked like they'd put me front of their non-existent line. read more

So the husband sent me here because of the previous guy.... First off this place is not easy to find , what caught my eye was the sign SMOG TEST!!! turn left now!! Went in place was completely dead... Asked how long I was expected to wait said 10-15 min and he said he would give me a $5 discount because I look familiar -COol- Anyways 10 minutes later passed the test and was on my way.. $59... don't know if that's cheap or not but worth it for not having to wait.. also their waiting room was a bit run down a couple of chairs, a table and a semi old sofa... read more

1st time here and met Jaime.. Truly professional and had us in and out within 15 mins!!! Highly recommend this place....

Came here to smog my husbands car and its raining so hard. We stopped in front of the garage. The guy at the computer just looked at us and walked on, no greeting, nothing. Waited for a few minutes still nothing, so we just drove off, on to the next 11/29/18 read more

Exactly what you want in a smog check place. Low overhead, low prices, in and out in 15 minutes, and a service guy who says 'thank you'. Download the coupon on their web site and save yourself a few bucks. And it's also a bit like stepping back in time - because you can read magazines from 2009 while they have your car hooked up to the machine.. in case you want to know what Brad and Angelina were doing back then. read more

Went to All Smog on friday afternoon. Was in and out in little over 10 min. Staff was very friendly and courteous. $57 for the smog check was not too bad considering I didn't have to spend hours waiting for my car to get smogged. And most importantly, my car passed the test! read more

Exceptional Smog Station with top customer service and price. I was in and out in 10 minutes..10 Stars if I could give them !!!

My favorite smog station by far here in Oceanside. Everybody is professional and friendly. I would not go anywhere else, even though I have closer places available. read more

All I have to say is that the guys there are awesome! I had a thermostat that needed to be replaced before passing smog that I wasn't aware of. They helped me through the process and assisted with information on getting the drive cycle out of the way! They're super quick and very courteous. Need a smog? Hit up Five Star! read more

Last experience with them. They give you a coupon to pay less, you think it's a good deal but it's not ! So you pay a first time, then they tell you something is wrong, you have to come back to finish the test. And they charge you a second time when you come back! Actually with this way to do you pay more than the regular price ! Nice company, no ? read more

I have been coming to Five Star Smog for the past 5 years. Excellent service and always a decent or quick wait time. I never hesitate to recommend this business to family members and/ or friends because they are truly here for the customers and don't take advantage like how some businesses do. If you're looking for a place to smog your car, look no further and give them a chance because I doubt they will disappoint read more

Do not come to this smog station total rip off. Should have gone to the California Smog Center.

I stopped by yesterday and asked if they do smog on a Motorhome Sprinter van, they said yes. I asked how much and was quoted $70 including the certificate. I also mentioned that my vehicle was a 24 foot motorhome on a Sprinter chassis. I was told no problem and they are open on Sundays till 4pm. Today, Sunday I brought my motorhome, A different technician did the paperwork and once again I asked what will be the total, He said $140. I argued that the day before I was quoted $70. His response was that although it is a sprinter van, a motorhome is $140. I told the tech that I was quoted $70 the day before and that the tech the day before knew it was a MH. This guy just wanted ti take me for a ride. I am a retired automotive professor and I know that it does not matter if it is a MH or not. What matters is the type of engine and chassis. This year I have three more vehicles to smog check. 5 Star Smog (Oceanside) LOST MY BUSINESS!!! read more

Quick, no hassle SMOG check. Friendly staff. All SMOG is open on Sunday, which is super convenient. This is my 5th time here between two vehicles. I will be back in the future. read more

Ilyas (elias) was the person who answered the phone when I called and was the gentleman who helped me when I came. He was very professional, friendly, and most of all QUICK! I was there maybe 10 min. I went there on a Thursday morning and was the only customer there. I was in and out in 15 to 20 minutes. It was very affordable too costing me just under $40. The people working there were friendly and relaxed. It was an easy place to find and I was relieved that their waiting room had air conditioning on such a hot day. All in all this was as painless as a process as it could have been. Props! read more

This place was great! Elias was very polite and courteous, smiled, made eye contact, and called everyone "Sir" or "Miss." There were a couple people in front of me but he got me in and out in no time. I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Never received such bad , and sketchy service. I've brought my bmw Sedan and Lincoln suv for smog here , but when I decided to bring my older work commuter car I was treated very differently. The owner in the back was tampering with my car , uncovered the coolant cover and my car over heated and spilled all coolant out. If it was broken or uncovered it would have done that on the way there. When I covered it and spent money buying more coolant and came back he refused to run it again when he had clearly said he would do so. Instead of trying to fix the issue he began to cuss and claimed he didn't care , didn't need my business or my money, making it very clear how much he cares about his business and his customers. Service is good until something goes wrong , beware. read more

I arrived a couple of minutes before another customer and the place was empty. I was already being helped and filling out the smog check form. However, they tested the man's car first, the one that arrived after me. Either it was racial or sexual discrimination. read more
