The office is very relaxing and clean, especially inside the treatment rooms- the music is perfect to take a nap with. Last few years, I've been coming to Dr. Huang intermittently for allergy relief. Despite being dosed with prescribed meds, allergy season would have me feeling like a truck has run over my head from the pressure. Just with 1 session with Dr. Huang, I could feel the relief of pressure coming off the bridge of my nose and head. Yes, it doesn't last forever - but it helps greatly until allergy season goes away. You barely feel the needles, Dr. Huang has a very light touch that's very much appreciated. Insurance is accepted here and my primary care suggested acupuncture to help with my old back injury when it acts up. When I first injured my back in 2013, it was acupuncture that kept debilitating back pain at bay for me; with physical therapy as well, I slowly got back to being able to function semi-normally. I usually come in once every 2 weeks, it's been about 4 months now and the sharp pain I used to get has gone away as well as the soreness around my spine has lessen greatly. This is all on top of normal exercise and stretching to help with my muscles, but I greatly attribute Dr. Huang's expertise of points that need assistance with acupuncture that's lead to my back feeling so much better. With the needles in, adding light electrical simulation definitely has been a great addition, my back feels so relaxed after each session. Final Thoughts: There can be co-pays with using insurance, but for the relief I get each session here - allergies or my back... it's all so worth it. I have been recommending Dr. Huang to anyone that's asked me about acupuncture and will continue to do so!

My first consultation was good so I refer my wife and now 2 of us attends the acupuncture session. She recently moved to a new office and I think it's bigger than previous one. We do our sessions every 2 weeks. Some pain are gone, others might need multiple sessions. We will still come back because it helps. Acupuncture is not a miracle cure but it's good to have an alternative from regular doctor consultation. Try them in case you are curious. Everybody will have different results, for us it's ok.

However, I was very disappointed with my experience here, especially as someone who also works in pain relief and values Eastern medicine. * $155 for about 5 minutes with the doctor * No real shoulder exam, muscle testing, orthopedic tests, or nerve assessment * Pressed on a few tight spots I showed him in my shoulder and immediately decided on cupping + acupuncture without identifying the actual issue * 15 minutes of cupping, 20 minutes of acupuncture, and I left feeling exactly the same This felt less like individualized care and more like a "same treatment for everyone" approach. Eastern medicine can be incredibly effective when done properly, but this experience felt rushed, impersonal, and money-driven. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this level of care was unacceptable. I'm sorry to say this is an insult to eastern medicine. I've had eastern medicine and they never treated me without even identifying my problem.
