Shoutout to Frank and Rodrigo, as well as the office administrator who originally fielded my call: they sent Frank out same-day to inspect our situation (which other places were quoting days to weeks out), and Frank was responsive and offered to even come early if I needed him to! He gained trust fast and offered to continue to answer questions over text if needed beyond the estimate appointment. He gave me details on what kinds of systems to look for, even if we didn't choose Ross for the service! Then, when we chose Ross, they scheduled the replacement FAST with us which was important not to have to wait weeks for our A/C to be working again. Rodrigo and team who came out to complete the replacement were fast, efficient and so friendly! They demonstrated care and kindness the entire time, truly above and beyond customer service. When we discovered the next day we needed our pilot light relit, we texted Frank who then sent Rodrigo same day to get that corrected - just incredible and top notch service from start to finish! I think I found Ross on Yelp when we were already booking estimates with two other "well-marketed" Heating and Air companies in the area...think about two that you see, hear, get mailers and see billboards all over the place...I am so appreciative for Ross and their entire team! Choose Ross!

After getting my AC serviced this Spring in preparation for summer I was given the news no home…read moreowner wants to hear. Your unit needs to be replaced. Freon was leaking and since my unit was 24 yrs old and the Freon used for my model was no longer available. This is totally understandable and I knew this day was coming. I naturally got a quote for replacement for my AC unit as well as my furnace, because my furnace was needing to be replaced as well within the next year or two so I decided I was likely going to do both at once to save me a headache in a year or two. For the record, Ross H&A was not the company who did my maintenance. Ross Heating and Air was the last estimate I got and I could not have been more impressed with everything they presented. They made the decision easy. They were honest, fair, and local. About 10 days later everything was replaced and looked great. And to put a bow on this that eas done, when the city inspector came to inspect the work he even mentioned that Ross does great works. Make this company your go to for all things heating and air.

Amazing and honest service! 1,000% recommend calling ONLY Climate Pros…read more One of my AC units stopped working. My husband has a MS in electrical engineering and he even said the unit was gone and would need to be replaced. Which is not ideal because I had to replace the larger unit 8 years ago and that was $7k (using a different company-not Climate Pros). So I was not looking forward to an unexpected expense. I was going to call another AC company but after reading reviews, I was directed to Climate Pros-this is exactly why leaving good and bad reviews matter! Climate Pros didn't show up on any of my searches and only reached out because of a glowing review. I called, was scheduled about a week out-I told them this wasn't an emergency since we still had one AC unit that was working. The technician showed up within the time window and he was so helpful!! He ran diagnostics and said it was just the fan part that needed to be replaced not the whole unit!! I'm still surprised about his honesty. I was prepared to buy a new unit. He was in and out in no time and even showed me the old part and how it wasn't conducting a charge any longer. I highly recommend this company. Not only are they reasonably priced, but they are honest and knowledgeable!!

The owner personally came out right away to inspect my unit and made sure my warranty company received the correct diagnosis. Because the problem was properly diagnosed, my warranty company approved and paid for a brand-new unit. It's hard to find a company that truly cares about doing things right. Honest, professional, knowledgeable, and excellent customer service. Climate Pros of Northern Nevada has earned my trust, and I will absolutely use them again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Let me start by saying that I reached out to several A/C companies in the Reno area and had…read moremultiple companies come out to diagnose the problem. Every one of them told me the same thing--my entire A/C unit needed to be replaced. The quotes ranged from $10,000 to $12,000. Some companies only did a visual inspection, others used leak detection devices, and a few even climbed into the attic. After hearing the same expensive recommendation over and over, I was feeling pretty discouraged. Then I found Happy Heating and Air Conditioning. During my first conversation with Matt, I explained the whole story, including the unfortunate fact that my Doberman had used the outdoor A/C unit as his personal urination target. Because of that, I was convinced the leak was being caused by coil rot. I shared what all the other companies had told me and how frustrated and discouraged I had become. After I sent Matt a picture of the unit, he told me he was fairly confident that coil rot was not the culprit. More importantly, he offered something that none of the other companies had--a definitive way to determine exactly where the leak was coming from: a bubble hydrogen leak test. Matt was honest from the beginning. He explained that the test could bring good news or bad news, but either way we would finally know exactly what was going on with the unit. He came across as knowledgeable, experienced, confident, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right solution instead of simply selling me a new system. He was also completely transparent about the diagnostic costs, what the testing would involve, and how the charges would be calculated. There were no surprises, no pressure, and no sales tactics--just straightforward information. I was especially thrilled when Matt said they could get the testing scheduled right away. In Reno, it seems like everything is booked out for weeks, especially with the hottest months of summer approaching. As promised, the crew arrived right on time and immediately got to work. Their goal was clearly to be as thorough and efficient as possible, which I genuinely appreciated since I was paying for their time. There was no standing around, no unnecessary breaks, and no wasted time--just professional diagnostics from start to finish. A special thank you to Lorenzo and Kevin. Both were polite, knowledgeable, professional, and, most importantly, seemed to genuinely care about helping me avoid unnecessary expenses. It's rare to find technicians who are just as concerned about your wallet as they are about fixing the problem. The best part? My final bill came in well under $1,000--far from the $10,000 to $12,000 replacement quotes I had been given by other companies. Instead of replacing my entire system, they took the time to properly diagnose the issue and perform a precise repair that saved me thousands of dollars. Thank you again, Matt, Kevin, and Lorenzo--you guys are my heroes! I would confidently recommend this company and this team to anyone who has been told their entire A/C system needs to be replaced. Before you spend tens of thousands of dollars, reach out to Matt. He actually takes the time to listen, genuinely wants to help, and focuses on finding the right solution rather than simply making a sale. It's refreshing to find a company here in Reno that truly cares about its customers. That level of honesty, integrity, and customer service is hard to come by these days. Kevin and Lorenzo not only performed a precision repair on my A/C system, but they also cleaned everything up afterward and left the area looking better than when they arrived. Their workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail were outstanding. From start to finish, Happy Heating and Air Conditioning exceeded my expectations. They earned my trust, my business, and my highest recommendation. If you've been told you need a complete A/C replacement, do yourself a favor and call Happy Heating and Air Conditioning before making any decisions. You may save yourself thousands of dollars and find a team that truly puts customers first.

At least this way you can save up and plan ahead instead of waiting for a disaster to occur. Give him a call. I'm so glad I met him and he's there to be the go to guy to tackle any HVAC issues. When we called for service on the phone recently, we had to talk to an AI 'bot. Then we kept receiving text messages, even after we requested that the texting stop. Then, after the service, the tech did what many have to do today: Turn into a warm-up act for the baubles salesmen, AKA " a comfort advisor." Oh, and of course All Hours wants us to become a subscription "member." When I asked the tech to have the baubles salesman email me about selling us baubles, I was told that the salesman has to come talk with me face-to-face. How ironic, THE CUSTOMER has to deal with an AI 'BOT when service is needed, but the salesman pitch, er the comfort advisor, has to be face to face. I think the company would just be better to abandon the heating and air business all together. They might try selling high risk investments from Wall Street. They are all set: Recurring revenues; up-selling the customer; add some smoke and mirrors, plus fear uncertainty and doubt, all while using AI. They are all set!
