He was able to redeem the shopping experience. Too many young adult men pretending to be working in the garden area. I didn't get names but if you see two 60-something women loading up 40 pavers and 8 bags of sand, step up and offer to help. Nope! They were too busy "looking" busy. Once we had all our materials on the flatbed cart and started towed the checkout, I caught the attention of one of the slacker teens and asked if he could help us push the very heavy cart up to the checkout. You would have thought I asked him for a kidney by the way he reacted. Finally he says,"I guess so." So sorry to take him away from the cart with two small items he had been pushing through the garden center the entire time we were shopping. With all that being said,Mike was great. Very helpful and friendly, give this man a raise, he is doing the work. Those other two gentlemen were just pretending to work to get a paycheck. The young man who helped us load our pavers and sand into our vehicle was great too. He was so careful to not scratch the interior of our car as he loaded all that sand and all those pavers. He said he enjoys helping folks load their vehicles. I wish I had remembered his name. I know it started with a "J". Thank you again!

Located right off of I-35 in a safe part of town, Lowes has some really good people, willing to assist with all your questions. I've found myself doing a lot of home improvement projects from finishing an attic, repairing side paneling to upgrading my yard and I've always found what I needed. Moreover, I got my Weber Grill from there and I use my it at least 3 times a week. Also, I had to upgrade a drill and the associate advised me against one product for another that has lasted me years. I've needed keys and it took literally 10 seconds. Oh, and for paint.... They're experts at matching colors. I'm not going to wax poetic like I do in other reviews but end with this Lowes is great for all sorts of reasons. Ruben is the only person that took the time to walk through the problem, scope the drains as well as snaked out to clean the drains... verses just doing minimal needed to get water flowing again and charge $300. He found the culprit (short story - it was a 22 year old sponge) and managed to knock it lose pushing it out to the city drain. I am so grateful to have this issue resolved. oh - and in the process we discovered the last plumber working on my drain glued the cleanout lid shut.
