What could be improved about this store is their hospitality because there absolutely wasn't none. My sister and I actually drove almost an hour to come to the store and looked forward to getting some things for her new apartment, but instead we felt ignored and overlooked. Overall, if I could use one word to describe the energy of the owners it was "closed-off". To break my experience down into further detail, when we walked in and we were not greeted, even though the three women working behind the counter had seen us. Instead, they stood behind the counter continuing their conversation, immediately giving off an unfriendly vibe. As my sister and I continued to scope the store, the continued ignoring is, only offering a simple, "let us know if you need anything" from across the room one time. That was all. Towards the end of our visit, only one of the women began conversing with my sister as she proceeded to pay for her things, but this was after another customer entered. By the way this customer was not only warmly greeted as soon as he walked through the door, but was immediately met with assistance as well. He didn't have to ask, they willingly offered help and approached him with confidence and kindness, something we weren't offered. While the aesthetic of this place was beautiful, I'd be too embarrassed to suggest this place to anyone in fear they'd be treated with the same customer service my sister and I were. I am from North Carolina and when I come here to Miami I always have to stop at five sisters. The events are a must to attend they always have events. Their crystal selection is one-of-a-kind. The girls are super knowledgeable and helps you with everything you need they're super attentive, they always have healers and readers and I happen to be there when they had both available , I received a Palm reading and After i did Reiki as well , I never done either so doing both really had me feeling like a brand new lady , it was so what I needed. My friend's know of my love for metaphysical stores, so they tried to see how I liked this store. Let me tell you, I won't be coming back. I go to metaphysical stores regularly and most offer such a pleasant experience. At Five Sisters, the vibe is unwelcoming, rushed and unfortunately some of the staff is not knowledgeable. The associates hover around as you shop as if you're going to shoplift. The girls try and rush everyone's shopping experience by literally shouting in the store that each guest's time is limited. I understand they're taking precautions due to the pandemic for how many guests can come into the store but no other metaphysical store I've visited recently radiates such negative energy and rushes their customers. Also, when you ask for any information regarding crystals or deities, they have to google it on an iPad. If your associates don't know the product, they shouldn't be asking customers if they need help with it. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this store. For customer service the store deserves one star. Whenever I'm in a pinch for a last minute gift I can always count on finding something special at Five Sisters. This family owned, spiritual & metaphysical shop is always a lovely place to visit - I've been coming in for years and have never been disappointed. The Owner and staff are friendly and welcoming and are always ready to help out with any selections. Recently the shop has adjusted their store hours due to the pandemic/virus - I wasn't aware of this and showed up mid cleaning - the owner was nice enough to let me in to quickly pick out what I needed. They also kindly ask all customers to wear a mask and wash their hands upon entering, which I really appreciate and helps me feel even more comfortable while in the store. The shop offers an abundance of quality crystals, healing stones, locally made artwork and handcrafted jewelry. Some of my favorites include the sage bundles (good range of sizes) and I'm absolutely obsessed with the variety of incense this shop carries (my favs are the Indian Temple and Native Soul). What I love most is, while you can almost always find your staples in stock ,there is always something new to fall in love with. This is more so on my experience with their reading, mainly. It was a whooping $50 for 30 minutes. I decided to give it a shot. Big mistake. The reading didn't do anything. I practically paid $50 for someone that clearly lacks experience & really has generic abilities. She asked for my zodiac sign & immediately & pretentiously told me I was "selfish" & that I "needed to learn to think of others" to "progress." If that isn't such a Libra thing to say, think or feel, I don't know what is. She has it completely backwards. And when I had questions, she would immediately disregard them as fast as possible & gave me cliché advice that only someone that isn't truly psychic or barely started their "spiritual journey" gives. "There was a lesson you needed to learn." Could you be anymore bland & generic? That's not real advice or clarity. If I need to learn to "tap into my sun sign," than here it is. Why don't you learn to be more upfront & honest with yourself & just say that you didn't know how or better yet, that you DON'T have the answer to my question? I would've preferred that than to be completely ripped off of my money. I wasn't going to bother asking for a refund. I doubt I would get it back. But the reading left me unsatisfied & even depressed. She didn't help me at all & just told me the same thing people say when they don't care because they're too selfish to care. Nothing new or clear. I just nodded my head & said "Yes" because I realized she really didn't know anything beyond just the surface. It was just cliche advice that doesn't work or help at all. This place is amazing for crystals (some things are genuinely overpriced if you ask me). I usually have an a great experience but this is mainly on the reading. Don't waste your money on them. What an amazing experience my reading with FEFI was!!! So nice to meet a reader that genuinely takes time to ground herself, meditate and doesn't put herself on a pedestal. It's a shop that sells all things mystic including sage, crystals, and incense. I came to get one sage and of course walked out with a ton of crystals, Sage, and palo santo. The store is all about how things make you feel. I walked in and was immediately drawn to the crystals. I would pick them up and determine which ones to keep. Several people were there and everyone was helpful and asked if I needed help. After getting everything I liked the lady at the counter explained what to do with the crystals. I just left the store and I get it, they want customers to take no more than 30 minutes when they're inside right now due to the pandemic. The staff member named Karen was absolutely rude and shouldn't have asked me in an aggressive tone, "are you done yet?", rushing me. It literally ruined my time in the store, and I almost don't want to come back again. I was gonna buy a lot more things because the store has great prices and lots of things in stock, but I got sick to my stomach after that and decided to check out. Karen never smiled, was rude to her coworker, and rude to me. Please hire nicer people, you can't teach nice. read more

Decided to update my review as I have come here so often before I left Miami. This is possibly the best spiritual/new age/psychic place I have ever been to and I have gotten a lot of different tarot readings done since I did my first one as a junior in high-school at Renaissance Fair many years ago. First, the shop is full of so many cool little things to buy from wind chimes to dream catchers to incense to clothing to knick knacks. The employees are great and really helpful. But the main thing I want to review is their tarot readers/spiritualists. I have gone to a few who come here... but Emary was the best by far. Tells you something when there are months long wait lists to see here. I first encountered her a few years ago after my move to Homestead. Now, I believe in souls and spirits. I was raised Catholic but I am also very scientific in how I go thru life. I believe mostly in what I can see, hear, smell, taste, touch. I want things to be proven... I just feel their is something more to life. I have had bad experiences with psychics, tarot readers and especially mediums... there are charlatans out there. So I started a bit of a skeptic in our first reading... especially when she says she can hear the departed... but when she pointedly told my loved ones on the other side talked to her about my move and said... they were also sad that the people who moved into our old house got rid of all the sage bushes and cypresses in yard that i had planted... I was like wait how did u know about that? How did u know I got sad about that? And then she floored me saying... they also don't like you don't have any wind chimes in your house... you used to have one in the front and the back at the old house. She then said that... didn't you notice that the one in the front used to sound at any time? Even when there was no wind? That's because it was them communicating to you. Yeah that freaked me out! Most recently I went to her twice last year... once in June another in December. It was crazy how accurate she was. She predicted everything that happened at my old work before it happened... one week before it all started. All the negativity and bad parts. She even told me I would be out of Florida by January. She predicted somewhere in the northeast... and said Boston comes up a lot. She said I would get depressed and tired of being mistreated at work and by others in my life and that I would be recruited by a company which will give me an amazing opportunity... and I would leave. She was right although I ended up in Ohio but one of the offices I have to visit on almost a month basis is in Boston. She predicted even when i would be up here... second week of January...freaky. She even predicted the end of one of my friendships and the reasons why before it ended before I left to Ohio. Even told me how the conversation ending my friendship would go. Like I said accurate. I wanted to like this place so bad. They have a great selection of crystals. That's about it. When you walk in, no one greets you. I've been to this place 4 times and every single time no one acknowledges your presence. The only reason I kept coming back was because it's so close to my house. The staff is too concerned about the "tea of the day" rather than asking customers if they need assistance. The energy in the store is so off putting and not welcoming. Now, they're packaging is another issue. They wrap your crystals in PAPER TOWELS. No cute reusable, sustainable baggies like other stores use. Again, the staff and energy need a lot of improvement. Walking in to this place I'm always greeted by happy and joyous employees and the presence of the Buddhas serenity is always abound. The feng shui of this place is Zen, a truly calming & nirvanesque experience. Entering this place I found books to discover your higher self, unique tarots, High grade incense, energy/spiritual sprays, incense, oils, statues, yoga supplies & clothes, salt lamps, Artwork, tapestries, wind chimes, boho clothes, Tibetan singing bowls & tingshas, metaphysical jewelry, Crystals and dream catchers etc, this place has it all. There's a sofa and a cushioned seat to relax while perusing the books. But that's only the beginning, if you think what I just mentioned would scare the socks off a Sunday worshiping believer. Adding to a review left by someone else, i was also laughed at while being there a while back, I guess they thought I wouldn't notice, but I tried to shake off the vibes I got there as well, I'm not a judgemental person, neither do I like to write negative Yelp reviews especially on metaphysical stores, but the costumer service part isn't the best, they also had an aura reading which they handled really badly, posted on their Instagram date and time, said no reservations, first come first serve, had my group and other people waiting outside for over 20 min, some people definitely for way longer, just to say they already took in the first 20 people BEFORE the due time, why waste peoples times in the first place and not be organized about the time slots and availability as well. Vast stone variety at decent prices, any sage you want and dream catchers galore. They also had a palm reader on site that day who was pretty good; she made key points. I picked the 15 minute session and paid $20 which was a fair amount. However, I did not like that the palm reader was out in the middle of the store where there was a nosy costumer that pretty much was sitting nearby listening in to my palm reading and two others that followed. Like, a little privacy please. Other than that , I was a happy costumer.
