My friends psyched me up for this place. Unfortunately, it did not leave anything to desire. They ran out of broccolini and they gave me the spinach, but left all the water at the bottom of the bowl. It needed salt and it took forever before I could get it, because the waitress did not come back after our food was delivered. The burger was raw, and the risotto which should be creamy and thick was soupy as you can see in the picture. Then on top of it, I brought a cake which cost me $30 and they charged each one of my guest four dollars each for a cake serving fee which I could've done myself. The cake serving bee was $48. This was never disclosed. The sirloin was tough. The lobster ravioli tasted so fishy. You could tell it wasn't fresh. I hope this place makes a major changes

Welcome back John! Tonight was fantastic. The pork Porterhouse and the Raviolis were phenomenal. Great wine list too. Can't wait to return!

Good food and great service. Menu is a bit limited but the top level service makes 503 worth a visit.

Food was find, service was good. But just not much more to say than that. Missing something special.

Everytime we go, we swear to go more often. Great food, service, and environment. Doesn't hurt that it is minutes from our front door...

My mom went here and was wondering what type of spice/ingredient was used in a lot of the food. It was in the pickled vegetables and the potato salad. She couldn't figure out what it was, so I was just wondering?

If you're looking for a spot with a great atmosphere, this is it. We had a 6:00 p.m. reservation on a Thursday, and although the restaurant was fairly busy, we were seated right on time. Our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, incredibly quick, and very knowledgeable about the menu. He made some excellent recommendations, and everything he suggested was spot on. The drinks were well made, the food came out hot and fresh, and the timing of everything was excellent. Between the great service, delicious food, and gorgeous setting, it made for a really enjoyable evening. Looking forward to our next visit!

The Mr and I had one night in Portland and didn't want to leave town without some seafood…read more A quick search on Open Table showed that Mann's On the Lake had availability and a peek at the menu showed some seafood options. While we couldn't get a seat on the patio (it was packed), we were able to get a table by the open glass doors giving us a somewhat distant lake view. Our server hooked us up with water and after our request, brought us some ice. We'd been out and about all day and was feeling dehydrated hence why we chose not to order anything from the bar. Off the appetizer menu we ordered onion rings and crab cakes and from the entree menu we chose scallops and salmon. Our intention was to share everything, which we did. The Mr. couldn't get enough of the onion rings with the BBQ dipping sauce. I liked them too, but preferred the dill sauce. The scallops were tasty and prepared pretty well although I prefer a heavier sear. The salmon was good, but I found the corn succotash to be slightly sweet. However the Mr. disagreed. He enjoyed the combination. Our biggest disappointment of the night were the crab cakes. Not sure if it was the filler or the sauce, but neither of us cared for it. They didn't taste good enough to finish, so I left half of mine We decided to skip dessert. Parking was a little tricky, but luckily we were there on a Sunday evening, so we were able to use the underground garage next door. At the end of the day I am not sure it was worth the 30 minute drive. YMMV
