Funny how the surface of our table impressed me that much, but it did. I do feel I need to mention the restroom. It was clean enough, and without going into details I strongly suggest that if there are non gender specific restrooms, there should be seat covers.

Just moved into the neighborhood from California and decided to check out this nearby restaurant. My wife and I were very impressed, to say the least. We were feeling pretty indecisive (as usual), but our server was able to point us in the right direction. Started with the living butter lettuce salad, which was to die for (ironically). The phyllo wrapped goat cheese was crisp on the outside and incredibly soft on the inside--it really completed the salad. We also shared the duck confit spring rolls as an appetizer--very nice. For entrees we had the Jambalaya and, as our server recommended, the braised pork cheeks. Both were phenomenal. The jambalaya had just the right amount of heat, and the shrimp (butter poached!) were great. The pork cheeks? One word: tender. Best dinner we've had since moving to the Northwest. I was always a little skeptical about this restaurant; that was until I gave it a chance. My wife and I stopped in after a West Linn Football game and we were pleasantly surprised. My wife had the hamburger and she raved about the bacon. Asking John, we learned that they bring in the side of pork, age the meat, and slice it in house. As we also learned they make all of their sauces on premises. Deliveries from Sysco are for supplies; not food. This is a great restaurant and brings a lot of class to West Linn. read more

We just celebrated our anniversary here. Although it was not our first time to Five-0-Three they exceeded our expectations. The service is wonderful and the wine list is extensive. Plenty of affordable wines and plenty of spendy wines as well! We ordered a bottle of Duckhorn Cab...FANTASTIC! It paired very nicely with my husband's juicy rib-eye and my velvety gnocchi with hearty bolognese. We will continue to dine at our favorite restaurant in West Linn! read more
