The trail (non-paved) to the beach is moderately steep. Loose gravel in some points so be careful. It's pretty narrow too. The paved walkway backup is also steep and will get the cardio going. Along the trail are many picnic tables to sit, eat a snack, take some pics, and catch your breath. Only downside is parking is limited. Go early if you can. Overall highly recommend.

Located in Auburn sort of by Lake Tapps, this park was super easy to get to and find parking. I was looking for a new park to explore and saw this. It's not huge but what I like about it is the connection the trail provides to other parks. The trail runs along the White River and offers both paved and dirt paths so pick your flavor. There is also a decent playground for the little ones and a dog park for the doggos to romp around at, they have separate sections for big and smaller dogs too. The path goes through trees to shield you from the rainy days and provides a nice break from the sun too. Not much bad to say about here, it's worth checking out!

The best part is you can visit their website and you can check if the water is okay for the kids to play with . There's usually an update regarding if you can swim and such. The only thing I'm worried about is when there is no one there to facilitate the other kids swimming, because I noticed there were lots of kids who goes there without their parents or guardians. The cops do come around for their rounds sometimes, but not all the time . I always have my eyes on my kids because there were sooooooo many people and soo many kids during school break holidays and I can't even imagine summer break. If you want to entertain your kids for hours bring them here and just have a picnic and enjoy the sand with the kids. Don't forget the shovel and bucket though lol.

The weekend I went the park was popular with all of it's amenities including a snack vendor which was in the building where the restrooms were next to the lake. Parking isn't too bad but I was a little bit concerned if I was going to find a spot but there are two lots that you can use and the one towards the entrance to the park is bigger. Nice outing and glad I made it here as I had it on my list but I am glad I went when I did because in midsummer heat I am sure this park is super busy!
