I usually hit5 guys in White Plains bear my central Westchester office but today I was shopping on central avenue and I visited 5 guys in Yonkers on Central Avenue. I had the bacon cheeseburger with American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and mushrooms. Similar service and layout just that this 5 Guys gave me ton s of those Cajun fries which btw do not come with the burgers, which makes ordering a bit more expensive. Hadn't been to Five Guys in eight years so decided to see if it lived up to my memories but it a big disappointment. Expensive tiny tasteless dried out burger with invisible cheese coating. You will be paying a lot of money for mostly bun. Service is sloppy and badly managed. Had to go back for shake which they forgot to make but at least the shake was the best part of the meal. I used to love Five Guys for a casual, inexpensive and fun meal. Covid-19 has changed that for the Yonkers location. The dining area was dirty, including the floor and tables. The tables were not being cleaned or disinfected after people dined. The two soda machines only had about 20% of the sodas in stock. The rest were unavailable, but no one told us when we purchased our sodas. One of the soda machines was overflowing with liquid to the floor. The place was a mess. So disappointed. There was not a manager in sight. We were going to dine in, but when we noticed the tables not being cleaned, we walked out. They have increased their pricing, so no longer is this an affordable meal. Will not be back. read more

I have come to this Five Guys several times. It's the closest one to where I live and I use the mobile app to order almost every time. The food comes out very hot everytime so it's nice and fresh and honestly the staff that works there is great, very pleasant to work with and are always very nice. My only downfall with Five Guys is the price but it's much better than the other chains compared to it so I understand the higher price. I will 100% be back to this Five Guys because of the great staff and excellent food. Thanks again! read more

Funny Story. A man came in here today, didn't order anything, and just grabbed a whole sack of peanuts and left the restaurant. He did not go unnoticed, in fact everyone in the restaurant was staring at him with a shocked/ WTH face. One of the employees stormed out of the restaurant to chase the guy, he came back with a half empty sack of peanuts. Anyways I am loving the burgers in general. I cannot just dislike their food, its not possible. I have this theory. I think the employees are putting and addictive substance on the french fries seasoning that cause humans to subconsciously think of Five guys all day and in their sleep, thus attracting customers like myself to visit 3-5 times a week. Just joking about the theory part, but seriously if you haven't tried the food here, you are missing out. As far as fast food burger joints, this place is as good as it gets.. The toppings are very good and the fries are incredibly good.. The staff are nice as well.. The burgers are somewhat similar to Wendys, but the toppings at 5 guys are much better and so are the fries.. read more

My kids asked for Five Guys tonight as a treat. The staff working were excellent. The young man at the register was being trained and I believe we were his first customers but he did a great job. My son has autism and I gave him the choice of having either a soda or a milk shake. Since we do not ever have soda at home he chose a soda. When he was finished his meal, he decided he then wanted a milkshake. He went up to the register to try to order one. I was trying to reason with him that he had already made his choice and could not now change. The woman at the register was so sweet. She asked if she could give him a small milkshake. She did not have to do this, but went above and beyond to not just deter my son from having a major meltdown, but she also made him very happy. Thank you and sorry I did not ask your name. read more

People swear by these burgers..they are okay, just not any better than a dozen others I've had. I think Five Guys is def. better than McDonald's or Burger King, but that's not saying much. The good thing about the burgers are that its a double. The Cajun fries were very flavorful but soft and limp like an old man's....well, you know. They need to be crispier, but I appreciate the fact that they use fresh potatoes, which I think they try to show by stacking sacks of potatoes in the middle of the eating area, unless they think that makes for attractive décor. The best thing for me was the bacon dog...a dog split and griddled with two pieces of bacon..now that I'll come back for. read more

The service was horrible and the people who work there were very rude. When they screwed up my order they told me they couldn't take the food back once it was given to me, I had to argue with these idiots for ten minutes before the manager finally gave me a rufund. HATE IT! I have a really bad peanut allergy and as soon as you walk into that place before you are able to ask about your allergy there are open containers of peanuts! The are not a lot of burger places out there that someone with an allergy can go to and it really bothers me to see how much people DONT care about serious life threatening allergies! After having a bad experience at Five Guys, corporate Five Guys replied with an apology and a comment form for me to fill out. I was not expecting them to take it seriously as most places don't but I was dead wrong. Within 15-30minutes I was immediately sent an apologetic email from the manager of the store himself! The manager also offered us a $20 gift card in order to rectify the situation and to give them another chance for them to regain our patronage. THIS IS A COMPANY AND LOCATION THAT TRULY CARES. OMG- Five Guys makes the best burgers and fries ever!!!! if you are not a big meat eater, once you try a Five Guys burger, you will not be disappointed. I always eat the "Little Burger", with my favorite fixings. The "Regular Burger" has two patties, whereas the "Little Burger" has only one, which is enough for me. The amount of fries you get in an order of "Little Fries" is enough for two people to share (as long as you are not too greedy). This is the first bad review I have ever written in my entire life. But I just feel this strongly about this place. I went in for dinner and bought a CheeseBurger with steak sauce and lettuce and pickles. I go to eat it and it tasted fine but every now and then I would detect a funny smell, like a vinegar kind of smell. I thought it was perhaps the steak sauce but it turns out it wasn't. I felt fine for the rest of the night but I woke up feeling violently ill at 1 in the morning. I ran to the toilet and proceeded to throw up the entire thing. Any great service or awesome location is take away by the quality of their meat. How can you run a successful restaurant when you don't know how to cook or prepare your meat? read more

Although the one soda machine was broken, the food was delicious. Yes it is salty, yes there are a lot of calories! It is essentially a fast food restaurant! I eat this maybe every 2 years as a cheat meal and it's FKN delicious!!! The staff were fine I don't go in here expecting high end service or an extensive menu of healthy choices. So happy this location finally opened! Much easier than the White Plains location if you are driving. Free parking. More spacious area to wait for your order in, than in the White Plains location. Burgers and cajun fries, just as good as the other Five Guys locations in Westchester. read more

Despite the parking and Burgers and Fries at Five Guys in Yonkers,NY being great and delicious, the reason there is 2/5 on this is because when I worked here when it first started in Early 2013, I was put "on-call" due to downsizing and lacking business which is not fair because this is not a hospital and part time employment should've been allowed at the time. The worst place i ever been too. They put my burger and fries container on bottom and scooped tons of greasy, greasy over cooked fries on top. I saw her scoop it and thought it was going in holder. They place is ok if you don't mind the high prices. 2 junior bacon cheese burgers, 2 medium fries and 2 large sodas cost $32 and change. The place was freezing. And to top it all off it was a mess...dirty tables, sticky floors and the garbage was overflowing onto the floor. There were 2 guys working who were very nice (my reason for 3 stars instead of 2) but with higher prices then a restaurant with service not sure if I will go back. I went in for the first time back in January. A very cold day in January. We walked in and OMG!.... this place was freezing! Patrons in the place kept both coats and scarves on while eating (men and women). I mentioned it to one of the employees and he looked at me with a smirk on his face and said he would mention it to the manager. We were seated at the table right in front of the cooking station (in hopes that it would be warmer at that end), unfortunately the employee never made a motion to talk or call a manager. There is nothing worse than to eat a meal on a very cold day in a very cold place. It was my first time trying Five Guys. It was highly recommended by many of my friends. Overall, burger was really tasty and fries (portion to share) were really good. It was a race against time with the fries though. The place was so cold that the fries became cold rather quickly. More heating during the winter would make this a great place to frequent for burgers and hang out. Drink selection machine is really nice. Haven't been back his winter, although it has been suggested a few times by friends. Will be back in the warmer months though. read more
