First and foremost I would like to say that I love 5 Guys. The burgers always taste great, its consistent, reasonably price, and unlimited toppings. I mean what more can you ask for. But the one problem that I have are the excessive amount of french fries that they give you even if its the smallest fries that they offer. I'm not the biggest french fry fan but once in a while I do get a taste for fries, its just that I don't need half a bag of them. I understand that as a business you want to make certain that the customer leaves feeling satisfied. I don't know, maybe its just me that feels like its too damn much. I'm a-ok with just that small cup and a few stranglers. I don't need that second cup and I'm sure others feel the same way. We LOVE Five Guys. The food is up to par with the rest of the chain. The people here are good, honest working folk. I usually get the cheeseburger (fully loaded) with extra jalapenos. Their soda machine is pretty neat; it dispenses like a traditional soda fountain back when they had soda bars. That said, if the machine runs out of a certain flavor (say, Cherry), ALL the cherry options are gone. This happened to us once and when we brought it with the staff, they said they'd look into it but never got around to refilling it while we were there. Not going to dock a point for that since this could be an isolated issue and those machines seem more difficult to maintain. read more

This is a good solid alternative to fast food burgers. In the Wendy's - McDonald's - Burger King throwdown Five Guys is supreme. Order the small everything because the portions are huge. A small fry is enough for 3-4 people and a junior burger is the size of a regular hamburger. Free peanuts while you wait-- and you will wait a few minutes, but the food is fresh and nicely done. The music is WAY too loud and obnoxious 80s type mix-- be nice if you could hear the people you're eating with. Overall-- better than fast food but not the best burger if price is no matter. read more

Normally, I love Five Guys. But the service at the Lincoln Street location is consistently terrible. I placed an online order through the app. I walked in 15 minutes later. No one was at the register or the pick up counter. I went to the cash register first and was promptly ignored. One employee walked up but then turned back without saying anything. I hadn't even indicated that I placed an online order. So I went to the pick-up counter. There were employees milling about but no one acknowledged me for a couple of minutes. When the employee finally came up she asked for my order number. I told her I ordered through the app. This seemed to baffle her. She said "phone order or web order?" I said app again. She walked away and pulled a receipt. "So a web order?" Quite clearly they hadn't even started the order. She told me to have a seat and "have some peanuts on us." FYI The peanuts are already free, so thanks but no thanks. After another 10 minutes I walked up to check and the employee actually snapped at me. She said "online orders are done IN ORDER." So then what's the point of ordering ahead? Clearly they don't get the point. From now on, I'll take my business to Wendy's across the street. read more

This is one of my fav burger spots in this area. Usually on point with everything. Went in today and the girl working the counter was miserable. No hi no nothing. We ordered and tipped cash as usually, no response she just handed us our cups and receipt. The wait was normal 10-15mins. Burger's were correct and good. We got a regular fry, it was barley filled and they were terrible. Undercooked and full of oil. The same employee who took our order filled our bag. Oh five guys, thank you for being right down the street when I need something amazingly delicious and with the right amount of grease to cure my hangover. This is now my new favorite burger joint, it's incredible! I'm really scratching my head at some of the other reviews that complain that Five Guys is "too greasy"---I'm sorry, did you miss the fact that this is a burger and fries only restaurant? I'm taking a Paula Deen stance on this and say that if the burger and fries aren't greasy, it's not being done right. French fries are so tatsty, just the right combo of crunch and amount of potatoes in the fry. I love when I get a small, it's enough for two people to share, with leftover "bag fries", which are the best kind. I also LOVE the variety of toppings for the burgers, and the two sizes. The first time I went here, I underestimated the portions, and I ordered a large burger, with a large fry to split with my boyfriend. It was an insane amount of food. I was full half-way through but kept eating because it was just THAT GOOD, but I didn't eat for the rest of the day! Having been there since, I usually get the little-bacon burger with let/tom/mayo/grilled onions and grilled mushrooms and it's always fabulous. I'm a big fan of the peanuts also. I understand that having peanuts everywhere makes five guys very exclusive to those with peanut allergies, so I'm sorry if you can't eat there, but to the rest of the peanut-eating population, five guys does right. read more

I've been to this burger joint a couple of times now and this one surprised me because of how clean it was aside from the juicy, delicious burger I got! The staff cleaned tables and swept the floor which is what I never saw at other Five Guys locations! I have to eat in a clean place and they showed their cleanliness :) Now for the toppings.............OMG! Here they are: Mayo, Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, Jalapenos, Green Peppers, A.1 Steak Sauce, BBQ Sauce, and Hot Sauce. When i have a hankering for a delicious burger and fries, this is where I go. I have visited several five guys locations and they have all basically been positive experiences. The staff is friendly and efficient. The people working here seem to be very personable and friendly. They had our order completed quickly despite the amount of foot traffic. The five guys is typical of every five guys. It was moderately clean, definitely acceptable for the foot traffic. This seems to be a busier location then Marlborough. The staff seems to be able to keep up with it as well. The food.... there is nothing bad i ever had to say about a five guys burger. They have always been delicious and packed with toppings. The fries are amazing. The meal always hits the spot and is a plentiful amount of food. Its in a strip mall located next to a Texas Roadhouse. Food is great, service is great and location is good. Just another Classic Style burger joint that doesn't stand out and has higher prices. The burgers were good but not great and honestly reminded me of Wendys at times. so my first experience at five guys was suffice to say probably one of those moments when you take a bit of something and your just entranced by the food and somehow gobble something so huge down in like 2 mins. so what i got: didnt know that a small meant just one patty beforehand so it sounded puny so i got the regular bacon cheeseburger with onions, jalapenos, mushrooms, hotsauce and green peppers. and a large order of fries. burger: was delicious and huge ...thanks to the double patty :) fries: were pretty good (fresh cut fries) simply just awesome. food was fresh and pretty fast for order to cook assembly. the staff was friendly and quick. the decor was pretty industrial but it worked with potatoes bags lined up inside the place and the free peanuts gave it kinda of average joes feel. **if you have peanut allergies...please do not step in here since there are peanuts all over the place*** read more

1st time I've tried this after hearing so much about it. Fries are large order and in a way "excessive". Burger was good. Ordered mini burger with everything except mayo. Not the same as in and out as it does have more toppings, but I think if you take out all the toppings and a burger by itself, in-and-out is better. read more

When compared to fast food burgers, 5 Guys would get 5 stars. Their quality is great for a chain burger joint and they truly get the job done. Yes you can certainly make a better burger at home or pay more than double the price for a better burger at some sit-down joint, but 5 Guys has carved out a place in the fast food world and have managed to bridge quality and convenience quite nicely. However, if it's nice out or you're not going far, I would strongly recommend taking your food to go. The small, bare-bones seating area always seems packed, noisy, and worst of all, dirty... On our previous visit, the soda machines were leaking and the whole place was sticky. This last time, of the 6 or 7 empty tables in the place, all had some sort of refuse left on them. Obviously the customers need to be more respectful but the restaurant also needs to recognize when their customers are being nasty slobs and get someone to take care of it so as to not ruin the experience for everyone else. Bottom line, it's worth stopping in for a burger and fries, just don't stick around to eat it there. read more

First time I went to a five guys was in Binghampton NY. Loved it. Was glad to see there is one in Worcester. Can you make a better burger at home, sure. Beats any of the fast food places hands down!! Done fresh, right in front of you, free toppings (except bacon), HUGE order of fries and free peanuts. Not the best kept place (trash left on tables, floor is sticky, soda fountain area needs to be cleaned) but there is always one or two people around to try to straighten it out. Best burger place around. They only do one thing......burgers. and they do it awesome. And now they've added shakes, which are also amazing. If it's your first time be careful ordering. A bacon cheeseburger means 2 patties, not one. If you want one, like my wife did, you need to order a small bacon cheese burger. And you can order one fry for 2 people. No matter the size it's basically just a bag full of fries. And they fries are awesome. It's quick, reasonably priced, and most importantly.........The food tastes amazing. So my girlfriend Is going to Greece for quite some time, and last night (Monday 9th August) she not only surprised me at my work, as I didn't think I'd see her again before she went, but also at Five Guys. The restaurant is our favourite place for fast food, when we arrived we ordered some food, no one was in there apart from my girlfriend and I, and the staff. I noticed that all the staff were smiling and looking at me, I thought something was wrong or they were all just having a good day perhaps, anyway once we'd ordered we walked round the corner inside and all the lights were off, and a table at the end was lit with candles, flowers in the centre, balloons and plates etc set up neatly. I was so surprised at what was going on, we sat down and the manager came over explaining that my girlfriend had been in prior to meeting me, setting the table up with them etc, and also said that they'd locked the doors, and that the floor was ours. We had such an incredible evening in there, the staff were amazing and so was the food, never known hospitality like it. My girlfriend and I go out to eat sometimes, fine dining, restaurants etc, when Lucie met me it was almost 10 O'clock in the evening, and as a chef I know that everywhere in town stops serving food at either 9 or 10, it was a spur of the moment idea from Lucie, and it paid off massively, I'll never forget that night. This was my first Five Guys experience. Let me start by saying that I am not a regular burger chain customer. I like great pub burgers or homemade burgers made with meat I grind and season myself, so I'm not comparing to McDonald's/Burger King/Wendy's, etc. While there wasn't anything overtly wrong with my bacon cheeseburger, it's not an experience I'll be clamoring to repeat. Meat patties were thin and greasy, bun was soft and pasty. Big plus was fried onions and fried mushrooms available as toppings at no extra charge. Minuses were the lack of cheese choices, nothing but American processed. Flavor would have benefited from a bit of bleu, provolone, swiss, or even just a nice sharp cheddar. Fries were certainly plentiful, and I appreciated the availability of malt vinegar. They were fine, but I was hoping for the crispy outside and velvety inside that I can make at home. In short, a fun experience, glad I tried it, but for me Five Guys didn't live up to the hype. I also found it expensive. A burger, fries, and a bottle of water came to just over $12, which was no bargain. read more

it's a FAST FOOD joint. nothing fancy here. so, with that said, it's freshly prepared, free toppings, and it comes out hot and delicious! Beats the lame buns at other fast food places and the meat seems way better then your standard puny burgers....and you can have free peanuts while you wait...which is somewhat odd considering how many ppl are allergic to them. i'm not, so i like them... if your expecting fine dining or something over the top due to their recent popularity and popping up everywhere, you may feel let down, but if you go in knowing it's fast food done fresh...i think you'll like it. value is great too. read more

5 Guys is the best place to get a good Burger, none of that sitting in a heated drawer crap you see at McDonalds, fresh hand made burger patties are cooked 10 feet away from you, and the best French Fries you will ever eat. Every day the potatoes are delivered and cut for the 5 Guys fries, and you always get twice as much as you need. Recently the Soda Fountain has become more automated yet better. All in all 5 Guys is an experience you will cherish everytime you go, the only downside is, it ends too quickly in my opinion. read more

Went to the location last Saturday and we were the second customers for the day. (First time visit) They must have had 8 folks behind the counter, so they expected to have a crowd that day. We ordered 2 burgers 1 small fry, and 2 small beverages, for about $20.00 !!!!!! The order was called out in aboutn 10 min. My burger seemed good, but sustected that the cheese was not real cheese, as in a slice. Oh and they were so focused on who was in, and what the staff schedule was, that they forgot to add the bacon and onions as ordered. Fries were good, and a small order was more than 2 needed. Then... I went home and about 2 hours later I was sick as a dog. After the food was gone from my system, I was fine, and no further issues that day. No idea what happened, but seemed odd that I was sick after eating there.. Would try the place again, but hope staff is focused on delivering a better experience for the high prices for ok food. read more

what is there to say about burgers made from fresh gound beef,on a good quality bun,with whatever topping you like,and french frys that are made from whole fresh potatos,WHY DIDN'T ANYONE THINK OF THIS BEFOR !,i wont say the food is cheap ,but it is worth it,it is like a good resteraunt burger,in a fast food like setting,and they are fast,i always call my order in,that way ,you can pick it up ,and its still fresh when you get home,the establishment is neat and clean,there are bathrooms available,parking is plentiful,there is seating in the resteraunt,which is well air conditioned,which is good because the grills and fryolaters put off a lot of heat,soda refills are free,and they offer free peanuts for the kids.i feel it is with out a doubt the best burger joint there is. read more
