By far the BEST Five Guys we've ever been to, as they signal-handed were responsible for us coming back to this chain. We're foodies so hamburger meals are not common fair to us, versus unique places? They do it right & are always delivering good & bountiful burgers... Consistently delicious, the best french fries of any restaurant I've ever had. This location is immaculately clean. The staff are always friendly and always greet you when you come in. I came in on a Friday night, around 8:30. The staff were all extremely kind and friendly, ALL of them greeted me when I came in and the young lady that took my order was very polite and smiled the whole time. I overheard one of them say that they had had a rush earlier in the night but the restaurant looked spotless and the kitchen was also well kept. The other young lady that called out my order smiled at me as she handed me my food and told me to have a goodnight. They caught a small rush as I waited for my food to be done and I noticed that they also greeted everyone as soon as they walked through the door. I'm trying to think of a place in Winchester to get a better burger... You can get a fancier burger at a few places I guess. But when it comes to just a straight up all American burger with all the key attributes in place that make the humble burger something more, something that just is perfect in its own right. Nobody is doing it better than Five Guys. Currently. Only reason I don't give five stars is that I don't really dig their fries and you can't have a "perfect" burger experience with less than perfect fries. read more

It could have been the day of the week or the fluke time I was here, but I was unimpressed with the place. First off, as I mentioned, there were not, in fact, 5 Guys working behind the counter. I bet if I remember accurately there still weren't 5 guys with the bus/janitor looking guy. And, well, the lack of 3 guys was obvious to us while we waited...and waited...and waited for our food. Then finally when we got it it was just alright. It most certainly did not make us addicted to our dinner. HATS OFF to THIS FRIENDLY, EFFICIENT, IMMACULATE business!!! Thank goodness for Five Guys during this blasted pandemic. This location is kept fastidiously clean and has observed all possible social distancing rules, bringing the ordering and credit-card processing to within a few feet of the front door so that only one customer enters at a time. As always, the fries are our favorite thing, followed closely by burgers and, believe it or not, the veggie sandwich. (I add mustard for flavor.) I have eaten at many 5 Guys restaurants and this one has the most consistently good fries! (they are occasionally overdone at other locations, but not whenever I've been here) I also love the customizable soda machine, and the ability to order bun-less burgers and hot dogs! They are also very friendly and make an effort to greet and say goodbye to everyone that comes and goes through the doors. The guy that is usually taking orders appears to be the franchise owner, or the manager at least, and he obviously makes every effort to please the customers and create a pleasant atmosphere. I'm not always feeling the classic rock that seems to be playing, but my hubby and 4 year old sure love it ;) This is a frequent lunch/dinner spot for us. read more

My fiancee and I went to Five Guys after an awful experience at another place in Winchester. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and he took our orders while making us laugh. We paid and got our drinks and our food was out in about five minutes. The burgers were cooked perfectly with fresh, delicious toppings. The fries (we got a little fry with Cajun seasoning) were amazing! A little fry and two little burgers were plenty for both of us! It's a relaxed atmosphere and the restaurant is always clean and smells wonderful. I always get jalapenos on my burger, and their fresh ones are great. Upon leaving, the same gentleman that waited on us told us to have a great night and thanked us for coming in. Impeccable service and all the employees seem to have great attitudes! read more

Went there on a Sunday afternoon, was shocked when the person at the register could barely understand and speak english. I had to repeat myself no less then 3 times. Finally got our order placed.... while waiting, we noticed everyone working there was in the same boat. This was sad to see, because the last time we were there there were a mixture of employees. Made the mistake of having the BLT. It was on a hamburger bun, consisted of two slices of tomato, a leaf of lettuce and plenty of bacon but it was burned to a crisp. Companion got a bacon wrapped hot dog and her bacon was cold, flat and burned also. read more

There are 2 locations in Winchester; and this one is generally a little better. It's always clean, and the service is faster. I've used the app to order food from both locations, and this one is again faster. When I came in my burger was waiting for me.
